Beautiful custom frame showroom. Met with the sole employee, Carmela, who was extremely…read moreprofessional, assisted me in finding a frame for my kids custom canvas that was just purchased. I displayed the canvas to her and she immediately knew what product would fit. She showed me a nice black floating frame which would cost $180.00. Per my request, she reiterated the price and wrote it down on a piece of paper. I nervously stared at the paper and anxiety set in as a tiny hopefully unnoticed bead of sweat started to roll down from the side of my cheek. The price I thought was high but maybe thats the going price. The framed artwork on the walls were very cleanly finished. No deal today and will discuss with my wife - the boss.

Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Carmela. I showed her the three diplomas I needed framed, and together we selected the best options. She was so patient, she even held the samples together while I FaceTimed my son for his approval. She then gave me what I considered to be a very fair price for all three and said they'd be ready for pickup two days later. To my surprise, the very next day I received a phone call to say they were ready. I went to pick them up, and they were framed so beautifully. I could not have been happier with how I they turned out, and my family loved them too. Camela even gave me an envelope with picture hangers for the wall, and then insisted on carrying them to my car for me. If you are looking for honest, reasonably priced, quality framing, I highly recommend this frame store.

We were in last Friday and had a wonderful time looking through Gallart's vast collection of Fine…read moreArt... while waiting for a new frame to be measured and set for our prized Peter Max serigraph. Everyone was very nice, warm and friendly and it was quite an experience "talking art" with the owner who is very knowledgeable, while the work was completed... rather inexpensively, I thought. They were very busy but the owner, Mr. Handel made time to discuss various topics of interest with us. We can't wait to go back!

A couple of months ago, I brought in an art piece to have the inside of the plexiglass cleaned. When I noticed months later that there were still visible marks that had been missed, I also realized that the plexiglass was no longer properly seated under the wood frame, the edge was now sticking out. This had never been an issue in the 20+ years the piece of art has been in this frame, including previous handling by other professionals. I brought the piece back and spoke with an employee named Mathew. He acknowledged that the piece had not been cleaned properly, but then attempted to blame me for the plexiglass shifting due to how I "might have handled it." He also claimed the plexiglass was cut too small for the frame, which makes no sense given the frame's long history without this problem, until Gallery Art took it apart and put it back together. Mathew initially tried to charge me $180 to re-clean the piece and realign the plexiglass, even though the issue was clearly caused by their work. I asked instead for the plexiglass to simply be replaced. After getting my piece back, I contacted the owner, Amy, to discuss the situation. She was extremely unprofessional from my initial call with her. When I called at 11:30 a.m., she told me she sleeps during the day and would not speak with me until after 7 p.m. When I finally did reach her and explained that I should not have been charged to fix their mistake, she dismissed my concerns entirely after multiple calls going back and forth with her on the situation. After spending over $700 with this business, she offered only a $90 credit and later followed up with a text to me stating... "Obviously, you agreed to the price when you dropped it off, you were not double billed." This completely missed the point of my complaint, which was about poor workmanship and accountability, not billing confusion. Overall, the lack of care, refusal to take responsibility, and unprofessional communication were unacceptable. I would not trust this company with any artwork, especially valuable or sentimental pieces.

The store was huge and it literally is a crafter's delight! There are so many items for DIY projects and so much more. You can even buy a Christmas tree here! They have custom framing available and they also offer different classes throughout the year such as painting, crochet, arts and crafts and knitting. They also have a Kids Club with events and other fun things for them to do. The staff was nice enough but seemed a bit overwhelmed, maybe due to the season and it being pretty busy. A lot of shelves were bare and it seemed a bit disorganized. I only came in for one item so didn't get much of a chance to look around but I'll definitely be back!

I asked for help and the employee pointed somewhere. I still couldn't find them because I had no idea where he pointed too. I asked again if he could show me where and again he pointed and continued talking to the lady. Long story short, customer service sucked during my visit.

More than a decade ago, Donna and Rick helped us create frames for needlework (a box type frame),…read moreketuba (with several mats and frame layers), art on papyrus-looking paper ("floating" frame) and more. They made suggestions about how to frame each piece to create beautiful art. We still display all the art that they framed. We recently asked them to frame large bathroom mirrors (118" x 36" and 84" x 36") to add a finishing touch to our recently renovated bathrooms. I'd seen kits sold online but I really wanted a professional to do the installation - especially given the size of the frames. (My mirror length requires a seam so I wanted an experienced installer.) I had a hard time finding a company that offered mirror frames and installation services. So I asked them if they'd frame the bathroom mirrors. When we went to their store, Donna helped us select frames and Rick confirmed that those frames could be cut for installation. (Traditional frames are about an inch thick and cover the glass, art and backing. We only needed the face of the frame to be placed on top of installed mirrors - we had to select frames that could be cut down without losing the design.) They helped us make good selections. They did such a great job that I hope they start advertising that they do this - there aren't many local companies that do this. And not only did they successfully do the work, it was drama-free! They were great! They are nice, helpful people Rick came to our house to measure the mirrors to make sure that the measurements were accurate. He returned once the frame pieces were ready and installed the frames. I knew it'd look nice but I didn't realize that the frames would make a HUGE difference in how the bathrooms look. Frames are not cheap. But I think it was worth it, when I consider that I look at the items they framed every day.

Donna and Rick always provide great insight in helping choose a right frame for our art. They are…read moreknowledgeable, experienced and patient. We love their work and continue to return.
