They NEVER have people willing to work. Ran in for ink really quick which should be a in and out experience. The wait was not due to heavy customer traffic, rather, they don't have anyone working the cashier counter. I've been watching one employee walk around and do absolutely nothing. They have at least three employees working on the clock but not doing their jobs. Never once was I greeted or acknowledged. An elderly lady who was another customer actually was the one to wave me to the print department where I then stood there for another 10 minutes. Waiting to be checked out. I'd like to add this isn't just a time inconvenience, but also a safety issue. Armed robberies have been on a substantial climb. And businesses like this are perfect targets as they offer the least resistance and have alot of valuable merchandise. DO better and hire people who actually came to work to WORK read more

I was trying to purchase printer ink from OfficeMax on my iPhone but could complete the transaction when it came time to pay. I called the OfficeMax in Crestwood, IL which is the closest one to my home. The person I spoke to suggested I try to make the purchase on a computer. I did that and I was able to complete my order that way. It might have been a security thing with the company which I would have no problem with. I was happy I was able to complete my purchase. I made a note to order from my computer the next time or purchase at the store itself. read more

Recently came here to buy an office desk for at home and because I wanted something professional that wasn't going to kill my bank account. There's a sale too for desks which lured me in.First time coming here and I wasn't disappointing. Staff didn't seem to be in much of a mood and it took a while for me to find an associate to help me out when I found a desk of my interest but it was nice of them to help me load the desk in my car. I put it together which took awhile but it's all good. (except for the few mistakes I messed up.) read more

Talk about not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time, this place is staffed by idiots. Tried to call to check on an item, lady picks up and asks what I want. I proceed to tell her and she puts me on hold. Wait about a minute the phone picks again and she asks me what I want, for the second time. She puts me on hold and in about thirty seconds, I get hung up on. Call back and get someone different and asks me what I want, I tell her and she tells me she is only the cashier and she can't help. La de da, I will shop some where else. read more

I have been coming here for about 6 years and now I buy almost All my electronics here not just because it's cheaper then Best Buy next door but because of the great extended warranty they offer it's cheaper and when you need to make a claim for a break down, power surge or even if I drop it from the 6th floor window they cover it at Full purchase price including Tax and No prorating like Best buy. The office products are always stocked and there not rude I would of giving a 5 star but the one thing they need to work on is check out speed other then this terrific place to shop read more

My granddaughter bought a Lenovo laptop for college classes here. Our sales person was Josh, a store manager. He sold her on a Lenovo, which is a decent brand for the dollar. I noticed it loaded slowly in the store. When I mentioned it he said it was because of the public Wi-Fi it was connected to. Possibly, but guess what? It's slow as can be on secure Wi-Fi too. He also sold her on a package with office, INSTALLATION, extended warranty and security (the inclusive price made all of these a good deal). They kept the computer for 24 to install the programs. Shame on us for not checking every last program when picking it up, but time was short. So a few days later when she went to use Word she found that Office had not actually been installed. At all. So now we are inconvenienced by having go back and have the process redone. Something that I could have easily done myself in a half hour has now taken 2 hours, with more time investment to come. Horrible experience! read more

They make ink stamps while you wait. Lots of computer diagnostics.

I can never get acknowledgement or assistance at this location unless someone older is working. Stop hiring people with no work ethic or customer service skills. I gave the extra star because they have some harder to find school supplies but customer service is non existent. read more

If you want poor customer service and no one to help you, come here for a good time. Stood in front of the print center for 5 minutes, no one acknowledged me. Worker was sitting there yawning while others aimlessly walked around and stared. read more
