Best customer service experience I may have ever had. Jen was thorough, intentional, detailed and knowledgeable - communicative but stayed hyper-focused on my business needs. She went above and beyond in her customer service, and ultimately helped me buy a better product while simultaneously saving me future unnecessary expense. Sarah also went above and beyond in assisting me with finding a product in store and offering to carry my purchases. And the lead (whose name I forgot and I'm so sorry) knew exactly what I was there for when I walked in and pointed me to my on-hold item. Customer service is why brick and mortar businesses will never fully disappear. And customer service like this today makes me want to return for all my office needs and bid farewell to the Amazon money pit. Not to mention the recycle/earn back programs! Customer service is horrible. The outside of the building is an eye soar. The inside of the business is filthy! Customer service is in the negative scale range. Their print shop does. I thing to help you find solutions. They want you to do all the work and pay them a premium to just press a of couple buttons. Their print shop pricing is absurd. 2.50 a sheet for laminating!!! And the cost of the laminate machines and laminate are outrageous. I'm no wall mart fan at all but I went next door and bought a laminator and 150 sheets of laminate for the price of just 50 sheets at office max. They have zero desire or care to be in business. Weatherford needs a good business solution place to come in town!!! And a little tip. The ups store in Hudson Oaks does color copies way cheaper! Almost half price! read more

They closed the OfficeMax near us and I miss it. Last week I needed to buy an office chair and on autopilot I drove to OfficeMax forgetting it is now a Chinese buffet. I had to go to a different store. Bummer Wish I lived closer to this store. I used to drive 3 hours one way to get to this store because they did such a good job on photo copies. The cashier here sucks. Would've been nice if she could say hello back when you say hello to her. Just sayin, basic human common courtesy. I only gave two stars because the manager was nice and checked on me several times. My advice, check on your employees and make sure they're doing their jobs, you can't keep the place together by yourself. read more

Not a bad store completely! They have all the equipment and supplies you need. They are great for just picking up supplies. However, the stores customer service and print service is definitely lacking. I call to check on the price for an order and they can't simply look it up and get me the information. The young man says the print center is too busy to take a call. Then the young man says that he's with a customer so he can't help me and he needs to have the print center call me back. It was easy to see that he didn't want to take care of this call. Horrible customer service. I will never use this stores print services again. read more

Had a bad experience here that has driven me to write my first Yelp. Stopped in here today accompanying my mother who needed to make some copies and fax some papers. She finished up her copies no problem and we approached the copying/shipping/faxing service counter and are told by the clerk "you can check out over there," as he pointed at the regular cashier. Dear old mom informed him that she needed a fax and he said we'd have to wait for him to finish with whatever he was doing, which looked to be trying to figure out how a copier works. Then a minute or two later he takes a phone call and I'm beginning to get irked here. He has time to pick up a phone and have a conversation for several minutes but can't bother to help us with a quick little fax. After waiting about 5 minutes the clerk apparently pressed some sort of bat signal because then a couple of other clerks crawled out of the woodwork asking if we needed help. Why didn't he do that in the first place? The first one to arrive started the faxing process, then just left and didn't come back, leaving our faxed materials in the fax machine behind the counter. Waited about 5 more minutes and mom finally walked back behind the counter and retrieved the faxed sheets and bill herself. We then checked out with the regular cashier(who is always helpful and on the ball btw) and left. I'm sending links to this review to the store manager and Office Max Corp. headquarters. I'm not sure if the store has security cameras but all of this took place between 10am-10:15am on Monday morning, 05/20/2013. This should go without saying, but this is the sort of service that drives business out of brick and mortar stores and into buying exclusively online. After this experience I'm strongly considering diverting all business away from Office Max, including buying supplies not only for myself but also for the business where I'm employed. I prefer to spend my money online an get home delivery and better prices, or at brick and mortar stores that make me feel like I'm a human being, not some kind nuisance money giving robot. read more

Good store and everyone who works here is always nice and helpful. I also like that I can recycle my ink cartridges for a $2 credit each. Between this and the rewards program it saves my business quite a bit of money. OfficeMax does seem to have more green options on paper products than most other office supply stores. read more
