Today: school supplies. Some on sale, they had most of what we needed, and service was good, in store and at the counter. Moderately busy on a Friday morning. Nice clean open store, easy to find stuff, loads of office stuff and some specific school displays. In and out quickly. Easy parking, and of course close to other places you might be shopping like Target, shoe stores, etc.

We watched a manager really escalate a customer service situation (to the point that both customer and manager were yelling at each other), but I'll admit I don't know the backstory as to what was happening before I showed up at the counter to try to check out. I will say that I've had fantastic service with Staples' furniture warranty/replacement plans in the past. A+ replacement plans if you're thinking about buying one. That's not necessarily related to this specific location though. It's weird that this location is so close to Easton and in this shape as I've been to much nicer Staples locations that were in the middle of nowhere. I felt uncomfortable at this location, and I don't plan to come back. I'll drive out of my way to try a different Staples.

I took in my Apple MacBook Pro with a cracked screen. A blind man could clearly see the screen was cracked so no issue there. Fast forward three days later and they do not have the part, do not have the ability to get the part and can't fix the laptop. Fine, I'll come pick it up. They want to charge me a $75 diagnostic fee for something they DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO FIX! Even the receipt says $0 diagnostic fee! I attached my receipt where it clearly says $0 so how they believe that I am going to let them get away with cheating me out of $75 is baffling. They bait you in with a guaranteed repair and when they can't deliver by no fault of yours they try to keep $75. He offered to reduce it to.$50. Um $50 for what sir? You lied and then did nothing. $50 for a lie, is that how much lies cost now? I'm disputing the charge with my bank and don't buy into whatever response this company makes regarding my review. They scammed me so they have to try to save face but believe nothing they say. RUN RUN FAR AWAY from Tech Fix or your hard earned money and your vulnerabilities will be taken advantage of.
