My first time at this Office Depot. I was greeted very friendly by a smiling young lady with a name badge Justice upon walking into the store. I looked around and they had about 6 customers in the store with my view. Looks like any standard office supplies stores. I had to make an enlargement photo through their website and this was the closest location to pick up. They offered 20% on this service too. Their estimated was 24 hours but surprisingly they got it done within four hours and I got a text that the job was completed. My purpose is to pick up the photos but I brows around and found this great sale deal of a 27 gallon, heavy duty and stackable bin for $13.49. I brought 4 even I didn't need it but I know I will later. I went to check out and pay and was greeted by Justice again. She was very friendly, and the purchase transaction was quick. I commented that she has a great name. I saw many 1 star reviews for this place. I think people tend to give a bad review more to a business when they are upset. My review is an honest an assessment that equates to the Yin&Yang force which makes the world turns.

April 2021. Damaged part - my office chair. Case # was generated - no follow-up as of 02/01/22. This is the only pic Yelp is uploading...

I am posting this review now since I have not heard back from them regarding some damage parts to my office chair. I visited this Office Depot on 04/03/21 (still have the receipt up to this day) because I was looking for a new, comfortable and ergonomic-friendly office chair for my home office. The employee Gabriel was super helpful and assisted me in terms of what chair type he recommended for those who will be sitting on an office chair for several hours. He was very knowledgeable, nice, and has great customer service skills. When I stopped by this location for the first time there were not a lot of customers. The chair Gabriel recommended was on sale (I believe it was around 50% off - what a steal!). I purchased the chair + the 2-year protection plan/warranty which totaled $107.15 with tax included. Per my receipt, I saved $88.01. Before I left Gabriel asked me for a favor if I can filled out the email survey I will be receiving and put his name as a friendly gesture that he assisted me in getting the office chair as cheap as possible as well as discounting my chair via competitor price match. I did ended up filling out the survey and gave him some kudos. When I went home to assemble the chair, I noticed there were some parts that were damaged however the chair seems to be fully functionable and not a major safety concern. I contacted product support who created a case #, and I even submitted pictures of the damaged parts per their request. Per their email on 04/07/21: "Please respond to this email with pictures of the damage to your parts so that our quality engineers can work on making a better product for you. If the damage is not visible please send us a photos of the product in its current state. Some of your items are currently on back-order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and value your business. Your item(s) will be shipped as soon as they are available." Since then I have NOT heard back from them. What's the point of having (and purchasing) a protection plan/warranty then? Overall I am very disappointed on their overall lack of accountability on customer service support and timely request to follow-up on my office chair.

pick another store. Not equipped for precise cuts and small store, so supplies only the essentials.

Can I give them six stars?…read more After a wild boot loop saga began on my phone, I was worried a lot of my data I had amassed would be lost forever. I wasn't sure where to look, and out of the blue, I decided to do some googling and came across this country with, needless to say, a very appealing name! After looking into it, I saw a couple of fantastic things that were green flags immediately: 1. The reviews were glowing (and here's another one - and I never write anything). People seemed to love the company's mission, and I even read that the founder (more in a sec!) created the company just for that reason: he didn't feel people should pay an outrageous amount of money to get their data back. 2. Brian himself. What a guy. He was active on a bunch of forums, and you could tell he put together a small, dedicated team who really valued that people trusted them with their services. And Brian and his team saw me through a bunch of the chaos, answering a bunch of my questions, putting me at ease, and then - through the wonders of the US postal service - procured all of my data again. (I'm backing it up right now - and if you're reading this right now, back up your data too!!) So, yeah. This company is about as legit as it comes, and if you're looking for data recovery in any capacity, you've found the pinnacle in compassionate professionalism right here. Keep on keeping on, team! You're rocking it.

When they determined that my unusual firmware issue required additional specialized assistance, they went above and beyond by helping me find the right solution rather than simply giving up on my case. Their assistance ultimately resulted in approximately 98% of my files being successfully recovered! I truly appreciate their honesty, communication, professionalism, and dedication throughout the process. Highly recommended!

I use this computer for my work, my writing, and so many important files. Unfortunately I had never backed everything up onto a flash drive. Needless to say, I was freaking out! I found Human Computer because of all the great reviews, and now I completely understand why they have such a great reputation. John was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel like my computer was in good hands. He was able to fix it, get me back up and running, and it only cost me around $85! He even told me that based on how well I've taken care of my computer, it could easily have another five years of life in it. I really appreciated that he wasn't trying to convince me that I needed a new computer or sell me something I didn't need. I also couldn't believe this little shop has been here in Riverside off Van Buren since 1996! There's something really special about finding a small local business that has been around that long and still treats people with genuine kindness. If you have a PC or Mac that needs repair, I absolutely recommend bringing it here. Great service, fair pricing, knowledgeable, and most importantly, someone you feel you can trust. Thank you, John, for saving my computer and basically saving me from a complete panic!
