Visited this store since we were in the area shopping. I'm rarely at an Office Depot and most times it's on Christmas Eve to get gift cards because they're always fully stocked and there's never a line or the line is shorter than going to the grocery store or Target to get gift cards. Perused around a bit and everything was in its right place with no major updates to the store layout or design. There was a bargain bin up front selling Christmas paper, random journals and calendars for $10 or less. Other than that it's a standard office supply store. read more

My first time at this Office Depot. I was greeted very friendly by a smiling young lady with a name badge Justice upon walking into the store. I looked around and they had about 6 customers in the store with my view. Looks like any standard office supplies stores. I had to make an enlargement photo through their website and this was the closest location to pick up. They offered 20% on this service too. Their estimated was 24 hours but surprisingly they got it done within four hours and I got a text that the job was completed. My purpose is to pick up the photos but I brows around and found this great sale deal of a 27 gallon, heavy duty and stackable bin for $13.49. I brought 4 even I didn't need it but I know I will later. I went to check out and pay and was greeted by Justice again. She was very friendly, and the purchase transaction was quick. I commented that she has a great name. I saw many 1 star reviews for this place. I think people tend to give a bad review more to a business when they are upset. The good news is that, like all the other Office Depot stores, they pretty have what you need arranged neatly, and their staff is very pleasant and good humored. But I was just there, May 10 at about 2pm, and the men's room was filthy. And it's not just about today. I don't think the sink or urinal had been cleaned in months, if ever. Disgusting. Also, no paper towels. I don't blame the staff working today. The store manager has to know and doesn't care. Also, the person above them must visit the store regularly. Major fail. I am posting this review now since I have not heard back from them regarding some damage parts to my office chair. I visited this Office Depot on 04/03/21 (still have the receipt up to this day) because I was looking for a new, comfortable and ergonomic-friendly office chair for my home office. The employee Gabriel was super helpful and assisted me in terms of what chair type he recommended for those who will be sitting on an office chair for several hours. He was very knowledgeable, nice, and has great customer service skills. When I stopped by this location for the first time there were not a lot of customers. The chair Gabriel recommended was on sale (I believe it was around 50% off - what a steal!). I purchased the chair + the 2-year protection plan/warranty which totaled $107.15 with tax included. Per my receipt, I saved $88.01. Before I left Gabriel asked me for a favor if I can filled out the email survey I will be receiving and put his name as a friendly gesture that he assisted me in getting the office chair as cheap as possible as well as discounting my chair via competitor price match. I did ended up filling out the survey and gave him some kudos. When I went home to assemble the chair, I noticed there were some parts that were damaged however the chair seems to be fully functionable and not a major safety concern. I contacted product support who created a case #, and I even submitted pictures of the damaged parts per their request. Per their email on 04/07/21: "Please respond to this email with pictures of the damage to your parts so that our quality engineers can work on making a better product for you. If the damage is not visible please send us a photos of the product in its current state. Some of your items are currently on back-order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and value your business. Your item(s) will be shipped as soon as they are available." Since then I have NOT heard back from them. What's the point of having (and purchasing) a protection plan/warranty then? Overall I am very disappointed on their overall lack of accountability on customer service support and timely request to follow-up on my office chair. read more

Don't go here expecting laminations or bindings... My son and I are high school sports officials, and we always went to Staples to get our copy and print services done. We wanted to give Office Depot a chance since they are closer and more convenient for us. BIG MISTAKE. When we arrived to the copy services area, informed the associate that we needed our football officials rules books laminated and then spiraled, which is a pretty standard practice at all of the office supply copy services stores but immediately the associate said they couldn't do it they couldn't laminate, and they couldn't spiral, but we were told wait a minute maybe my manager can but I'm not sure let me go see. That immediately made my son, and I feel uneasy going to leave our official football rules book there so we decided to leave, drove all the way across town and left them at Staples without even a hiccup they knew right away what we needed and they'll be ready tomorrow. Worth the drive to go to those places that are willing to help the customer. read more

There were two employees working at the time and only one of them had knowledge about label printing. The employee did not give clear instructions on how to do so and when we asked them to repeat the instructions, they seemed too busy to help us. I understand that there were other people that needed assistance, but it's no excuse for them to be rude with their responses and walk away. Please do better! read more

This Office Depot location saved my wedding invitations this past week and I could not have maintained my sanity without the incredible support of Chris and Brittany in the Print & Copy Area. From the moment I called this location to ask about the cost of coloring printing to the moment my copies were handed over to me in pristine condition, I had an incredible experience. The staff here is very friendly and despite the constant busyness of the print area, Chris and Brittany remained professional, calm, helpful, and knowledgeable. They probably don't get paid enough for the meticulous work they do! Prices for printing here is more reasonable than their local competitors and the customer service was priceless. This location has a great inventory of supplies and lots of options to choose from for cards, labels, post-it's, furniture, etc. They do price matching like for like which is awesome and parking is easy. This has to do with a purchase of software. I purchased a McAfee virus software and tried to return it, unopened and unused, the next day. I was informed by Nick, the acting store manager, that it is store policy that software cannot be returned even unopened. I told him that no one told me of that policy before purchasing and there are no signs at the displays of any software like the displays of tax software. Just let everyone know. read more

Andree in the print dept. is absolutely fabulous!!!!! On Nov. 14, I went in with an emergency printing job because an on-line company had messed up the obituary for a funeral on Nov. 15, 2022. Andree was so gracious and professional. He assured the set up was correct and committed to have the job complete by the next morning. However, he astonished me by completing the job that same night well before the store closed. The customer service he provided was outstanding!! read more

This is one of the rudest ,unprofessional Office Depots . They are never welcoming , The older lady always looks like she wants to fight customers with her facial expressions and never allows customers to speak even if it's to ask about an order placed at this location . They had great customer service with the one kid who moved to Florida, he was beyond helpful each time and I understand staffing everywhere is tough but Office Depot other locations have no issues only this location where they don't feel as if you are a burden. I don't know why they get such poor reviews, I have gotten excellent service here in their Copy/Print department more than once, and I can say they have excellent regular customer service, always knowledgeable as well. For the most part, customer service is excellent. Althoug I'm a regular here, they still ask if I need any assistance finding anything. And when I do ask for help, they are eager to. When I order online and do a store pickup, my order is always ready to go. I haven't had any issues of items running out, everything I need is usually here. The furniture selection is slim compared to other stores. There are chairs on display that you can sit on and pretend you're a CEO. The Rancho Cucamonga location is much bigger and carries more items but the service here is better. read more

Located at Shop The Colonies outdoor shopping center in Upland, next to Petsmart (same side as Target and Kohl's). My husband and I came by here yesterday to do some more Thanksgiving weekend shopping (as if we did not spend enough of our hard earn money on Thursday and Friday, why not spend more on Saturday?). I am surprised to see such low reviews of this location (at the time of this review, 2 stars overall). When we came in here yesterday afternoon, we were greeted by a female employee immediately. As we browsed through the store, another employee greeted us and asked if we needed help. My husband actually wanted to purchase a wireless mouse (always good to have a few extra around, especially if the price is cheap) and so this male employee showed us where it was. He was pretty friendly and cheery. Later on when my husband picked the wireless mouse he wanted, we headed up to the register. The same employee who helped us find this mouse also took care of our transaction. He was all in smiles and continued to have a positive attitude. Overall, we had a nice and pleasant experience and wouldn't mind coming back again if we were in the area. read more

Do NOT purchase a tech service contract that Office Depot offers! 10 months after I purchased a laptop, it died. I contacted tech services-after 3 days of being hung up on, transferred to numbers no longer listed, and no return calls-and they could not help. I was asked to mail my laptop to them (at my expense) but I told them they needed to send me a box to send it in. they did-about 10 days later. It was going to take 6 to 10 weeks to fix. I ended up taking to a local tech and got it back within a few days. I then asked to cancel the service when the renewal came up and they responded (after a few phone calls) okay, but then charged my account with a renewal fee a day later! I have now been waiting for over 3 weeks for the refund! BAD SERVICE! Office Depot - stop offering this service! read more

If I could give this location no stars, I would. I ordered a custom canvas that had a picture and text on it. I did it online and had it sent to the store, when I checked out online and added the product to the cart everything was there as I wanted. When my husband picked up the canvas , there was no picture...just the text. So I went to the store myself and told them what had happened and the manager said "since it wasn't our fault we don't know if we can issue a refund" so she basically said since it was my fault, I had to have it reprinted. And she gave me an email where I could contact the manager but she told me she was the manager. Long story short, we will never use this location again. I've gone here since it's close to my home. I'm not going back as the staff from managers on down are not uniformly trained. Recently I went there to get a small thing and walked in and saw a female manager chatting to an employee. I asked about the products ans instead of helping me, she stayed chatting and pointed to a section and said, "if we have that it will be near that area. Then she went back to continue to chat. I have also experienced a cashier problem but that's the least of THAT stores problem. No wonder their stock is at $3.89 a common share, down from $41.99 on October 2006. In that same amount of time they've been passed by Wal Mart, Office Max, and Staples. For a company to sell over 2.97 billion in sales as of 03/26/2011 and their net income is a negative $5.41 million it is clear that this company is prime for a takeover. read more

Visited this Office Depot location and was constantly told what I could not have. They are not price matching because it is the holiday's- WTF. Store is always empty and customer service is horrible. If this is the reflection of the organization, they will not be around much longer. Previously signed up for "rewards" what a waste of time. It only works for specific items. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy 3.0 - 7 inch for my nephew and was in a hurry. This is my last purchase in this store. Be grateful for the $200.00. It was only 3pm when I handed over box, and the person at Office Depot assured me that the box would be included in the 4 PM shipping. I could lose my job over this. I am usually able to find whatever I need at this Office Depot. It is clean and organized. However... My ongoing complaint with this Office Depot location is that I always have to wait awhile for a cashier. They do not have one stationed at the register until someone gets in line. Then I have to try to make eye contact with an employee, and then they radio for a cashier. This has happened the last 10+ times that I have been in this location. Just this afternoon, I again stood in line waiting while 4 more customers lined up behind me - still no cashier? I think that this is bad customer service. read more
