I was given instructions to create a shipping label and email it to an individual at the hotel. I've generally had good luck with UPS, so I attempted to do as instructed on their website. It went fine until the very end of the process when it refused my payment method. I tried again with a different method - same result. Annoyed and frustrated, I drove to the local UPS Store to ask for help. Initially I was told they couldn't do what I needed, but the manager then went the extra mile and patiently walked me through the process - which failed at the same point as when I tried at home! She patiently suggested I try a different credit card, and happily it worked! Excellent service offered kindly and competently - much appreciated!

Last week, I had to send a test to Chicago via a pre-paid FexEx mailer. I could have called for a…read morepickup, but it was a workday and my employer has a consolidated shipping/receiving point. That causes the larger common carriers to sometimes ignore personal pickup requests from offices. So stopping by this location seemed the most sensible and reliable thing to do, especially since the test was perishable. Failure to ship that day would have meant I had to start all over again, which would have also meant another weekend day stuck at home. They weren't at all busy when I arrived. I was greeted immediately when I approached the counter by a polite and friendly young lady. I explained my "once every 10 years" experience with shipping FedEx, so she checked the label and the box carefully to make sure everything was OK. There were markings on the box which indicated she wasn't allowed to scan it and take it at the counter, but she told me it could be dropped in the deposit lockbox by the front door. Pickup hadn't occurred so I was assured the same-day shipment I needed. OK, so it's just a package drop off review. Big whoop. But: 1) I didn't wait 2) I was treated respectfully 3) The staff knew how to handle my request 4) I was in and out in 2 minutes. Maybe this isn't worth 5 stars to you, but to me, the peace of mind sure was. Thanks, FedEx/Kinkos!

I have encountered several different employees for various reasons -- FedEx, print, copy etc. The responses are rude and inconsiderate as if YOU are bothering THEM at work. you can also forget about inquiring about turn times or approximate completion because the only answer you will get is "not-sure" or nope.

After being turned down by a local printer, I called Printing Solutions and they gave me a resounding YES, they could do it! Splendid. I sent them the files, specifications, called to pay on the phone and hoped for the best. I've been burned before with small town print shops, heck even large town print shops, so my expectations weren't necessarily high. But Lockhart's Printing Solutions delivered exactly what I had asked for, on time (a few hours before the deadline, actually), ticking all the boxes. Their built-in rush fee wasn't exactly cheap but it was still very agreeable, especially considering how quickly they worked on our order. Did you know that Wayfair has brick and mortar outlet stores? I didn't until recently. They…read morecurrently have 4 locations all over the U.S. and this location is the only one in Texas. You can find it on the Tanger side of the outlet mall. The store is much smaller than I thought it would be. I was expecting a large warehouse type of store with a mixture of furniture and home decor (think Home Goods or At Home). This felt more like a random discount furniture outlet store, except with higher quality furniture. There was very little home decor. The bedding and curtains were sort of messy in random containers. The store had mostly couches, a few dining room tables, some end tables, night stands, and outdoor furniture. Everything was at least 40% off of the listed price. All sales are final except for appliances. If you purchase a faulty appliance, you can return it within 48 hours. I actually don't recall seeing any appliances in the store, but I'm sure the inventory is constantly changing. Additionally, they do not hold or reserve furniture before purchasing. The staff was very friendly. A nice gentleman told us about the sales. The employees were wearing casual clothes; it was a little hard differentiating the employees from the customers. Nothing in the store caught my eye, but if you're looking for living room furniture, you may have better luck.
