I used to come to this location a lot when my kids were in school. This was the place that had all of the items needed for presentations and science fair for their laptops and for their desks to work at at home. Also a great place when I had to pick up DVDs and items for the computer. Today I was looking for an ethernet cable extension. Walked in the door and the person standing there immediately asked how can I help? I said what I needed and they walked me over to an aisle that had 10 foot, 25 foot, 50 foot and 100 foot roll extensions of ethernet cable. Then check out was quick and I was gone in five minutes. Fast quick effective service when you need something quick also a nice place to walk around if you're looking for any office items. read more

If you're going here and expecting to get waited on or assisted in any way forget it! Customer service is non existing in the store. It's not the first time we've experienced this at the Ormond Beach Florida store, but undoubtedly it is the last time. Staples on ISB in Daytona Beach was not customer friendly. While the service there was nice, I faxed 3 pages to a toll free number and they put a $15.00 hold on my account! It stated on the receipt $4.51. I am aware of companies putting a larger hold on your account but this was ridiculous! They couldn't even look up the transaction because I'm not an account holder. I would never let them handle my account! read more

I entered Office Depot with no one in the store. A middle aged women was doing something with banners. She asked if she could help. I explained what two services I needed. She told me both processes without stopping. I made my way through the first service. I went to the computer she had indicated for the second service I had to use - earlier in the conversation. I stood there for quite awhile. A gentleman came over and waited on a woman, who just got there. The first woman kept looking at me continuing what she was doing. I asked her how to do it and she didn't answer. The gentleman asked her if she wanted him to help me after. (Now there are four more people in line.) Another young woman came over, and started to ask the next person. I nicely told her I had been waiting. She was very nice, informative, and polite. If that first woman was doing a job, then she should have taken care of getting someone else for me. At least acknowledge me! read more

I visited this location and had the pleasure of Rick (I believe that was his name) being my cashier. He seemed to be new and still learning but I have been thinking about him almost daily since. He was kind even when another customer said something quite rude about him taking so long. I was returning an ink cartridge and buying another and while it did take a moment to figure it out, I didn't mind. You're lucky to have him on your team and I hope he has an amazing holiday. I'm not really a frequent shopper of Office Depot for a few reasons - the prices and the customer service. The prices are extremely high - unless what you are looking for was on sale in the weekly circular or the items are on clearance. The customer service is a little too "buggy" for me. On my last trip to pick up a few school supplies for my nephew, I was asked by six staff members if I needed any assistance.. I didn't think that picking up #2 pencils was rocket science, but, I guess you never know. I'm rating Office Depot a 2 because of those reasons. The substanial pricing and the stalkerish customer service which made me feel really uncomfortable. read more

Dropped off FEdEX package today 2-16-21. The woman behind the desk was so helpful and efficient. I went to use the restroom on my way out. WOW! So disappointed that the women working there use this restroom. No soap, no paper towels, fecal matter in toilets, and the chart on the door was checked off as cleaned. I told the gentleman at the front, who greets everyone in the red shirt, and he looked at me with a blank stare, "ok mam'm" like I was crazy! I am younger than he is! This is the time for cleanliness and people who are working in stores deserve to go into a clean restroom. read more

If you have to get it and get it fast, go to this OD and forget Staples. I bought a laptop there and later had it repaired. They were excellent. And other purchases were great for the price. They also have floor staff who are knowledgeable, unilke the others. read more

Got a new office chair and a printer. Really good deal to. Hp printer normally 200.00 for 100 plus 50 reward. Also the chair was 40% off. Good place to find deals. Stuff asked a bunch of time if could help so that was nice also. read more

I went in the Omond beach Office Depot to have (2) laptops cleared and check. Seems like a reasonable request? Stood in line for (20) minutes without and employee interaction (even though several walked by). When I finally aid excuse me, I was greeted with a "wait your turn". 30 minutes later when I was finally spoken to I realized that I was asking an old, inexperienced, unprofessional and inept employee about a service I knew more about then the Office Depot employee did. Why would I leave my computers with someone this inept? Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. If you can't find one go to the Best Buy on International. Office Depot can NOW be replace with Walmart, hole punch and a computer. read more

My husband called in to receive some info about the printing services. He was told to email the documents in, so he did. After a few hours he called back in to make sure that they were received and had a horrible interaction with the supervisor working in the print department. She was very snippy and told him that she was too busy with "actual" customers. He said ok I understand and proceeded to inform her of the document requests (in color, etc). She cut him off and replied rudely, "well it costs extra for each cut we make etc". He said that's ok and then again a rude response "well it's not going to be ready until later anyway". So he said ok thank you. He then called back to speak to the store manager about his interaction and was assured everything was taken care of. We showed up in the evening to pick up the documents, and guess what??? They were never done. So now I assume that her behavior was addressed and she intentionally didn't do them. The poor girl that was here tried to make it right. What a horrible representation of a company that this store has with the leaders treating "actual" customers this way. read more

I frequently go to Office Depot especially for any repairs I require for any of my many devices. It is not just that Office Depot is that much closer to my home but it is the care and consideration I get from the folks that do the work. I am a card carrying member at another electronics store and in the past have used their services, however when I go to Office Depot I can be as unaware of all that can happen and merely tell my tale of woe in the vernacular and be understood. I dislike being asked technical question that if I had the answers to them I would be able to also fix the problem. I never feel that way at Office Depot and have suggested to my friends that they go there as well. read more

I have never in my life had an experience bad enough that I felt the need to write a review. I went in to Office Depot this afternoon to do a return for my boyfriend and an exchange for my company. A woman named Judy came to the register to take the next customer, which was me. Her first words to me were "I hope you make this easy for me." to which I responded, well I have two seperate returns but that should be simple. Judy then rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to start my returns. The first return for my company was a pack of binders we ordered offline. She asked me if I ordered them online to which I responded "Yes." She then proceeded to basically yell at me telling me if I order items online I need to call and have them come pick it up and not go to a store to do a return. I politely told her "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I'm just trying to exchange for the correct size binders." Judy stood there all flustered shaking her head, so I said "Would you like to ring someone else up and one of these men can help me?" Judy then said "Well yeah" and went on and on about how the last thing she was dealing with was a return and now she is going to need to get a man by the name of Blake (who was very polite and helpful, thank goodness.) to help her so in the meantime we could do my other return. This return, I had the original receipt for so she said "See, now this is easy!" Once she processed the return, she said go ahead and slide the card. Well, that's where I apparently messed up again. I did not have my boyfriends card, he used debit and most stores can just give you cash. Judy very rudely said "We can't do that. You need the card blah blah blah." At this point, Blake comes over and Judy starts explaining to him "She doesn't have the card she used and I explained to her we cannot give her cash." Blake then said "Since it's debit, we can." Meanwhile, I was saying "If this is that big of a problem, he can just come return it himself. It's no big deal." Judy proceeded to count out the money to give me back, the whole time shaking her head visibly annoyed. Now it was time to deal with my previous return again. She walked down to a different register and told me to bring my return down there because she just emptied out her register doing my return, which was only $74. I carried the package down to the new register and Judy was back at it. "Well we can return it only if it's something we carry in the store, but since you bought it online I doubt it." She scans my pack of binders and low and behold, they have it in the store! She says "Leave this here and go see if we have what you need." to which I responded "I need a couple of other things so it may be a few minutes." At this point, I was so taken aback I couldn't even remember the other items I needed, nor did I want to deal with Judy any longer so I went and got the correct binders and didn't even worry about trying to remember my other items. Thankfully, a nice gentleman did my exchange for me because Judy was busy dealing with another customer who I believe was exchanging or trading in ink. Judy was also incredibly rude to this couple. The woman places her box of ink on the counter and Judy, shaking her head, snapped at the woman saying something about how the lady didn't take the ink out and now Judy had to do it. I worked in retail for 5 years. I understand all too well having bad days and being incredibly frustrated with customers, however I would never in a million years treat my customers with such disrespect! I was incredibly disappointed about the entire experience. Hopefully, Judy realizes how disrespectful she is and begins to treat her customers differently. read more

Despite telling us they had the chair in stock. We ordered the chair it arrived today and it was the wrong chair.
