The employee refused to help me insisting I buy it first. So what if it didn't fit - as a bigger laptop? I'm supposed to then return the backpack wasting both of our time? This is from my 14 year old son insisting I leave a review. I would say that this was the best experience I've ever had with an employee. I went In to get an HDMI cable i needed to find one at the best price I could, so I was going to check this office depot and the best buy next to it. When I mentioned this to Ty, the Office Depot employee helping me, he said that he would beat Best Buy's price. I went to the Best Buy and no one came to help me or talk to me. Their cable was $20 dollars so when I came back and saw Ty again he went out of his way to help me. Ty was the best employee I have ever dealt with! Give this guy a raise and promotion! read more

It's open on Sunday. That's good. They have the things I needed that staples and other stores don't. If I needed junk food, there's an entire 7-Eleven at the checkout register. I always forget this place carries a variety of items for the home office, office supplies, school supplies, printing, paper, envelopes, storage and more. I needed to pick up a large white board with markers and filing cabinet folders. They had everything I needed and more. I was greeted right away and the staff asked if I needed any help. He was able to quickly direct me to the items I needed to pick up, making it a quick and efficient trip into the store. read more

A girl named Winter really helped me in designing a project for work and made sure I got my corporate discount. She also rang up a $8 bottle of cheeseballs that another employee was buying. I called several times waiting while it rang for almost 20 minutes. When I finally spoke to them they said nothing could be done unless I can into the store. I understood this is the typical answer for most retail stores, but I didn't want to come in at my inconvenience. He said "well you have 2 options, this or this. That's it." so I left a nasty survey and said "screw the $8." I quickly received an email from the store manager offering a $25 GC to Office Depot. What if I didn't want to spend my $8 at Office Depot? I accepted as it was a kind gesture and probably the best he could do. He really wanted to change my experience and apologized profusely. This is why the stars are more positive than negative. Unfortunately the store manager isn't the only person who works there which justifies the 2 missing stars, otherwise he would have deserved more. Aside from this experience, I'm sure I'll have a normal experience as long as I check my receipt afterwards. read more

Definitely not the best experience at this location. I ordered a print on Saturday night (online), the email said it would be ready to pickup Sunday at 3 PM. Here it is on Monday morning, and the job hasn't even begun... the staff worker told me that nobody was "qualified" on Sunday. Oh well. Guess I can't trust what the online website promises. I didn't originally buy the printer a co-worker did but I returned it and the transaction was so easy and Erin she was so helpful and nice, she explained all the receipts I had and made notes on each one so I could keep them straight when I returned to the office. Won't shop here again. I bought an ink cartridge here. I hadn't opened it for about a month and half because I was in the middle of moving. I opened it and put it in my printer and it just didn't work. I tried to take it back and they said since it wasn't within their 30 day policy, they couldn't take it back. But the ink literally didn't work. So I will never buy here again because if I had bought it on Amazon & this happened, I could call Amazon and they would send me a replacement immediately. I couldn't find anyone to help me first... They were all at the front. But once I did they were helpful and friendly. A very big selection! They also have a lot of "deals". The checker also helped me carry my purchases to my car! You don't see that everyday. read more

office depot is a corporate nightmare. i will never shop them again. paid over $600 for my new toshiba laptop that quit working in less than 3 hours! office depot would not let me exchange it! they said it was toshiba's responsibility. called toshiba--- they said, "it's office depot's responsibility to replace it". all this in one 6 hour period! ***it's called corporate collusion, folks! i had to keep my broken computer-- send it to toshiba-- it "melted down" 6 months later from same original defect but now burnt out motherboard completely-- had to throw away after taking to local comp guys. be careful my friends. many companies are learning to play the "legal-theft" corporate-collusion game. read more
