I use the USPS service there a lot. I always buy the same package to put the items in. It's usually about 11-13$ so I know it's not much .. but I'm not rude ever. I work customer service too and I know how mean people can be. But... Rebecca was so rude to me. , treated me like I was a bother. I said thank you at the end but she didn't say anything. It makes me never want to go back in that store. It was terrible. Ya know that saying " you never know what someone else is going through " Well Rebecca... I'm going through the hardest time in my life and you were so unnecessarily rude to me. Thanks for the complete unjustified nasty service you gave me. read more

Jennifer (manager) on 14h st Bradenton, Fl. spent the entire 30 min. telling me she can't help. She repeatedly spoke in a snippy tone using the the name "Ma'am" as if it was a dirty word. Jennifer tried to unload me saying; to call the OUTSOURCED 800 number (which I had call THREE TIMES w/NO help.) All I wanted to do was to make an order & have it sent. And the website wasn't allowing me. Jennifer's answer was "well we have hundreds of ppl all day long make order ma'am!" I told her I wasn't her enemy & I just want to make an order. She said "I can't take anymore time goodbye." I hope the manger Mike Morris, will see this pitiful customer no -service and correct her. read more

I love this store. I purchased my office equipment (computer, printer, desk and chair) here. The staff assisted with setting up my computer and printer (I am not that tech savvy) and I was able to come home and use it right away. Recently, my computer did not recognize my printer and I went back to the store and Albert fixed the issue. My internet service changed, and the computer needed to be updated. Albert provided the best customer service. He is a credit to Office Depot. Do yourself a favor and shop here. read more

The evening supervisor (Bill) was condescending, aloof, and completely unhelpful. The desk I ordered was not delivered today as expected (I waited all day, of course) so I called the store to find out what my options were including canceling. He decided to just cancel the order before I confirmed that was what I wanted. Now I have to start all over again trying to get a desk. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he chuckled and said I could call the 800 number to complain. The day staff is nice, but the evening people are HORRIBLE! read more

The customer service of his store has much to desire. I came in and spoke with a manager about a printer. When I came back in to purchase the product the coupon was no longer valid. Iris called the manager and he said that he did not say that. So basically he is now calling his customers liars. I was purchasing a printer for my students to use in the classroom. I will Not be back in there again and I hope all teachers ban together to let them know this is unacceptable. read more

This Office Depot used to be in a plaza across the street but recently moved to the Lowe's/Panera Bread/Dick's Sporting Goods plaza in the same US/41- Cortez Road area of Bradenton. I recently had an issue with my computer keyboard not working. It just kept typing "nnnnnnnnn" by itself and then stopped doing anything completely. I went to this Office Depot and bought another keyboard. The new keyboard also did not work, so now I know the problem is more than just a faulty keyboard. I went back to this Office Depot to return the keyboard and shop for a new computer and the saleperson (Doug) mentioned that Office Depot offers a free PC check up so why not take advantage of that before buying some thing new. So I trucked back home, got the hard-drive and came back to the store. I forgot to bring the power cord for my machine (it's not an attached cord) so I had to go back home and get that-- my fault-- I only mention it in this review so that you are prepared and bring your power cord if you decide to do the free computer diagnostic. Doug set up my machine using their keyboard and monitor and I noticed right away that their keyboard worked just fine. When I told him that, he said that maybe the USB port I was using on the hard-drive was faulty. He noticed it seemed loose so he had plugged his keyboard in a different port. Long story short-- my computer was basically fine with the exception of a faulty port. I was almost ready to drop hundreds on a a new machine because I thought mine was starting a computer death spiral. Maybe it is, but for now changing where I plug in the keyboard USB has worked just fine. If you are having some issues with a computer, I highly recommend this free diagnostic PC checkup. It was not only a check up, it was also a tune up (also free). If they find you have viruses or something, that will cost you a different set of fees to remove, but the diagnostic and basic tune up are free. The salesperson was also well versed enough in computers to suggest some trouble shooting like the loose USB port that I wasn't able to figure out or guess on my own. I was able to do this free diagnostic on the spot as a walk in, no appointment, but that might depend on how busy they are and who is on duty, not sure. read more

Awful online servise canceled are order . saved yourself from coming here they canceled our order didn't refund us our money we called them and they wouldn't give us the items we ordered . they didn't apologize for the mistake there agent made . overall I'm sure there are some good employee's but the the ones we came in contact with werent the best your experience will probably be different from mine read more

I ordered a high end paper shredder and it took close to a month to arrive. When it arrived, it was damaged - the box had a large gash, was beaten up, and the "protective" packaging was a joke. When I called customer service they offered $8 off the price if I kept the shredder. I then called the Bradenton store and talked to the manager who abdicated all responsibility telling me that the store has nothing to do with the shipping department. He refused to mail to me the part that was damaged, saying that he couldn't pay for shipping. The part weighed all of 6 oz. He suggested I drive the 70 mile roundtrip to bring the shredder in to his store to see if they could fix the problem - no guarantee they could but either way, he refused to do an exchange for another identical shredder. He told me he'd get into trouble if they offered me an exchange. read more

Horrible customer service at the print department. Completely unapologetic about mistakes they made. They didn't have the correct number of items I ordered and I didn't realize until I went to make my packets that it was incorrect and didn't match the number of the receipt. When I all she said was "I know I printed the correct number". Plus the ink was a different color on one spot on all the printouts, said it was an issue on my end which makes no sense bc I was printing half sheets and I was the same image on both sides. read more

I have had prints done here many times and always were done while I waited. Manager tells me today that they have new procedures and my print won't be ready until tomorrow. If they applied the time spent justifying NOT satisfying the customer to just printing my item, they would have kept me as a customer AND had anout 20 minutes left over. I went elsewhere. read more
