Even when we had challenges in the process that were outside our control, the Van Poole team worked diligently to proactively solve them and successfully negotiate our home purchase in Flower Mound, Texas. They went out of their way to make us feel heard and understood and provided expert advice on the market comps and dynamics of the areas we were looking to buy. I would highly recommend Seychelles' team to anyone in the North Texas area who's looking to buy or sell a home.

I feel kind of late to the party because I didn't find out about apartment/home locators until…read morepretty recently. It all started on Instagram with Smart City Apartments. They post regular content and often do negotiated deals. However, I quickly learned that the only way you can really take advantage of these deals is if you're ready to sign then and there. It is first-come first-serve and unfortunately, it was not practical for most people to wait around for the perfect deal not knowing the timeline. Most apartments require you to provide 60 day notice of intent to vacate. This timeline felt shorter for me because I was going on an international business trip. I did not really have the time to look around and wasn't sure what to do. Luckily for me, I stumbled across The Realm Agency on Instagram. I liked that their posts showed pricing and location. Sometimes apartment locators can be really obscure in my opinion. I sent them a message and sure enough someone contacted me shortly after. That's when I had the privilege to meet Chris- the best locator around! Chris was super attentive to all of my needs and questions. He inquired about what type of apartment I was looking for, amenities, my budget, expected move in date, etc. I gave him some areas I was interested in and within a few days he had compiled an extensive list for me. I am not lying when I say that Chris worked around the clock to help me find the perfect apartment! We were texting each other during random hours since I was traveling and working in both the Philippines and South Korea. He always kept me informed about my options and was never pushy on a single property. I appreciated his honesty and feedback in regards to the pros/cons of available properties. Working with him honestly felt like talking to a friend! There was one property that I really ended up liking and Chris was able to set up a virtual tour. However, that same apartment ended up getting leased during my tour. I was pretty upset over it, but Chris was able to offer me an even better alternative shortly after (literally the next day or so). I felt so grateful since it felt like a huge burden had been taken off of my shoulders. Let me also point out that I am a pretty picky person. I had high expectations for my new apartment and was so worried I wouldn't find the perfect place. I finally moved in today and I truly love it! I moved to Harvest Lofts at Farmer's Market (an area that I did not even first consider). Chris truly wants to help you find a property that you will not only like but love. If you're looking for a new place, do yourself a favor and contact The Realm Agency!! It is completely free and saves you so much time. I honestly don't even know why people bother to look for apartments on their own if businesses like these exist. Chris- THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are a life-saver and super awesome. Rio and I have finally found our new home and it wouldn't have been possible without your help. I don't have the space to get into all of those issues here. #2 We have been trying to get taxes that they owe us from the time they owned the home in 2018 for about 2 months now. Mostly they just don't respond, but when they do, it is usually some odd excuse that has nothing at all to do with the subject at hand. We have forwarded them the documents showing what they owe (and verifying that they owe it), and still they continue to put us off. #3 The realtor, Phyllis, constantly refers to the renovators as her "client" even though she is married to one of the partner renovators. It seems very deceptive that she doesn't openly disclose the fact that she is a part owner of these homes she lists. Very unprofessional.

They went up to the last hour before closing completing the required renovations and cleaning. Their agent Phyllis is extremely difficult to get a hold of and takes forever to respond back.

Over the years living at a property they manage I've seen services reduced, long waiting periods on communication, outdated web portal technology, and overall upkeep of the grounds and common areas lackluster. When it comes to repairs and restoration they let things linger for a long time and seem to side with the developer than be an advocate for the building; working to placate residents than to chase down contractors and developers towards action.

Worth Ross has been actively impeding my efforts to do so, all in breach of Texas Property Code §202.007. When a client, tenant, tells you Texas Property Code, you know you are dealing with folks who lack any credibility or knowledge. It is the job of the property management company to adhere to NOT JUST a specific HOA guideline, but first and foremost must be knowledgeable of County/State property laws to enforce through or in consultation with, HOA committees. If a committee denies a rainwater tank fully contained in a normal sized shed on the side or back of a house, then it is the onus of a consultancy/mgmt company like WR to know the law and explain it to a committee or when WR rejects. No exceptions except ignorance, but that is equally bad. The reputation of Worth Ross in the community has, without any dissension, been nothing but a disappointment. I, myself, own properties and manage them, including actually being in property management as a business, just like Worth Ross. I have a great deal of empathy for the type of work involved in managing homeowners/tenants and physical assets. It's not easy. The mountains of work they've done on a static Esperanza entry signage and cutting trees for tens of thousands of our dollars, all while actively denying or impeding water conservation efforts in a backyard tells me more about them as a company than it does anything good they are doing, which is mostly superficial work, in my opinion. No one cares about signage but thank you for the long email updates and all the hours you put in this colossal waste of money (fyi the rusty sign looks exactly the same before and after the hours of work and money spent on something unnecessary). I will assuredly be voting in opposition to keeping Worth Ross as our HOA service provider (fyi, you were not our first choice, everyone sees you as a mistake in which I've learned why now, and you are REPLACEABLE), and given my line of work is property management in a notoriously difficult city--NYC--with respect to city and local laws, tenant relations, and the like, this is still the worst property management company I've ever dealt with, which tells you a lot. I've since had to resort to invoking the lawyer threat, but I'm hoping it's only because they didn't know the property law (which is kind of their entire job).
