Rented a property managed by Apollo. From application to move out they were extremely responsive to any and all requests. Maintenance was handled quickly. Move out was even quicker. They reviewed the property and informed me my deposit was being sent back within 3 business days which is unheard of. All of my request and or concerned were handled by a real person with grace and empathy. Apollo is a company that cares for their tenants they are not just there to collect money. Given their quick responses and professionalism if I was wanting to hire someone to manage my property I would look into Apollo as well. They are not even worth the 1 star rating I had to give to be able to write this review. I have been renting a property through them the last almost 2 years. There have been plenty of times where my rent was paid ahead, and I would think that would mean something, but I am currently being summoned for court because rent is due at the first of the month, and I don't get paid until the middle of the month. I have tried to communicate that to them especially since I had to provide proof of income and it shows I get paid in the middle of the month, but instead, I am charged late fees to the point where I have to come up with a extra $500 a month for just late fees. They don't have no working phone number, and I still question how I can be "evicted" for November rent that just hit 7 days ago. This is a horrible company to rent through, and regardless of the situation, I still paid my rent. I am a single mom that is facing having to move right before the holiday's because they are not willing to work with me, and are trying to take me to court knowing I have not gotten paid to even be able to pay november's rent. If there is a problem with our rented house, I use the online portal and help usually arrives very quickly. All problems were solved quickly and unbureaucratically. Recently our access card for the community pool wasn't working anymore. Within two days I had a new card under our doormat on Saturday evening. We are very happy with the service. read more

How can anyone do business like this and not get shut down by the BBB? If you see this company's name on your lease, run as fast as you can. If I could give it zero stars I would. I can't even begin to describe how much this company screwed my wife and I over. First of all, upon moving in we found out that the home failed city inspection more than once. We moved into a house that was not legally supposed to be occupied. Of the 3 months we lived there, it never passed. Second of all, the home had many, many issues. The plumbing was almost always backed up.. The floors were peeling up in almost every room, the dishwasher didn't work, etc. etc. Here is the worst part of all. We had a cat so we agreed to a $300 pet deposit. We were already asked to pay first months rent plus a double deposit, so the $300 wasn't in the budget. So we agreed to pay $100 per month for 3 months on top of rent. In March, our 3rd month in the house, we paid our monthly rent on time but had forgotten the $100 payment towards the pet deposit. Instead of sending a reminder or a heads up, they filed eviction. Which, this was the 2nd time. They filed eviction in February because we were 1 day late. Which was only because their office isn't open on the weekends so we had to wait until Monday to make the payment. Anyway, I contacted them via email (they NEVER answered the phone), to ask them what we could do to stay. They said that if we paid the $100 back rent plus $216 for the court filing cost they would dismiss the eviction case immediately. I paid them the amount thy asked and even received an email confirmation of my payment. A week or two later we got a writ of possession on our front door. We had 24 hours to vacate or they were having the constable remove us. We both had to take off of work immediately and pay movers. I contacted them several times on this matter and all they could send me was the court order to get out so basically, these people conned me into paying the $316 and went to court anyway after stating specifically that the eviction case would be dropped. They are scam artists who have completely ruined my ability to rent anywhere else because of their own negligence. I've been searching for a rent home for 6 months with absolutely no luck. No one will even give me a second glance with an eviction. I'm at a loss and I have this company to thank. PLEASE PLEASE never rent from these people!!!!! This landlord has sent me 5 messages on yelp harassing me over the last 4 days. Calling me a low life loser. I posted a screenshot of one of the messages below. They also replied to my review and I believe removed it. They said that my story was made-up but I actually have proof of every little thing that happened, and receipts to back up all of my claims. They interact in email ONLY, no phone calls, so I have emails from them that would confirm everything I've said. I agree with the statement "If I could give zero stars I would." I have NEVER had a worse management company. 1st: They don't speak English. 2nd: They don't take phone calls, only emails. That they don't always answer. 3rd: Not only do they get you with high rent and HUGE fees - THEY CHARGE FOR REPAIRS. They don't even address small issues like lights or anything (not that I need that, just FYI), but when my house FLOODED WITH SEWAGE from a blockage that was more than 30 feet away, they not only didn't return my calls, they refused to speak to me in person because I didn't "Have an appointment" and then told me they had "7 days to decide what to do about the issue." Not fix, decide rather or not they WANTED to fix it. They also told me I couldn't fix it myself or call a plumber myself. So I called the city, and the city made them fix it within 24 hours. Then, Apollo BILLED ME for the repairs. 4th: After the 2nd month we lived here, I screwed up and forgot to drop the rent check off (on a Wednesday). When I realized it (on the 6th - the following Monday), I wrote a letter saying it was my fault, and I paid all the late fees - you read that right, ALL THE LATE FEES ($100 for 5 days). They filed charges against me anyway, WITHOUT NOTICE, and I then had to pay an additional $500 to have them drop the failure to pay eviction and require me to pay with a money order now. I had to get an attorney involved, and even the city and the court was like "Why would they do this?" So, if you're thinking of renting with them. DON'T!! Or, have a good attorney on speed dial. read more

we stayed in an Apollo realty managed home for 4 years in Allen, TX and we thoroughly appreciate their service request timelines / be it a plumber or an electrician; they had an army of service technicians at all times with a very quick turnaround; when our garage door collapsed; a technician was at our home in under 2 hours- made a stopgap fix and returned the next day to replace the door. This is now day 2 with no A/C with no response after sending multiple emails and calls. They don't have an emergency line so I doubt this will get resolved anytime soon. I have animals in my home that need AC as well as my self since it's June in TX. This is the second emergency call we have while staying at their property and it takes days to hear back. When I put in a work order a few weeks ago about my microwave not working, they didn't believe me and wanted me to check the breaker and if it was plugged in first.. of course I checked those things before calling in the work order, I'm not stupid. It took a week for them to finally believe me and get someone to fix it, it was a wiring issue. If you rent a home from them beware. We will not be renewing. read more

Apollo Realty is one of the best company we have ever worked with. We had sold our house and had to find a rental fast, luckily we found Apollo. We moved within a week or two and loved our experience. If we ever had a problem they where there in a flash to make sure we had everything covered. Any of the workers that showed up was very professional and very nice. They took care of us like family. As we started to look for a house to buy we even talked to Apollo to help find a place. They even offered to sale us the rental if we wanted it for fair market value. WOW what a nice company to even want to help you when you are moving. I found that if you pay your rent on time, clean the house when you leave, they even give you a full refund on the deposit. If you are in need of a rental or in the market to rent your house out, please give them a call. Good realtors can be such a help; bad realtors are such a hindrance. I would warn anyone from using Apollo Realty to represent them. Apollo was the listing agent for a condo I wanted to buy. For starters, they don't answer calls. You can try and try to call, and they won't answer. They might respond to a message a day or two later, but they will never pick up a call. How frustrating. But the worst part is their lack of care for their clients. Since calling wasn't working I emailed them. I made it clear I'm a serious buyer, own lots of real estate, and would like to see the condo. They told me they will not show the property themselves and that I need to have my realtor show me. When I told them I've purchased dozens of properties in Dallas and as policy always represent myself and deal directly with the seller or seller's rep (I have a real estate & finance degree from Harvard), they wouldn't budge. They told me they're a volume dealer and don't deal with unrepresented clients. I suppose that's their prerogative, but woe to anyone whose homes they represent. Not only do they habitually ignore calls, but they won't show homes and won't deal with any buyer who doesn't have a realtor: end of story. read more

They definitely communicate through email which makes sense for a paper trail and they always sent someone in a reasonable time if there was a issue with the house. This is an unscrupulous operation that uses underhanded tactics to take extra money from well-paying customers. Request for repairs are ignored. When you finally get a response, the fix is terribly inadequate. They refuse to answer the phone so small problems turn into massive ones that damage their property and yours. The only effective way I found to get their attention is to intentionally withhold rent. As a result, I am charged with late fees just to compel them to call me back. Although my rent is paid in full, they sent a Constable with an eviction notice as a way of punishing me for being persistent in wanting repairs. The Constable said, "They can't evict you for late fees." These people employ nasty practices and I intend to post in every possible medium so that others don't have to fall victim to a company that is more concerned with usurping your money than care for its customer. read more
