I trust the stylists at Peles Salon completely. Every single time I go to Peles Salon, I am reminded of the unparalleled talent and knowledge about hair, the attention and care given to customers and the sexy/chic vibes. My boyfriend also refuses to get his hair cut ANYWHERE else... which I find funny because in my mind, how difficult is it to cut mens hair, right? Until I forced him to get it cut in DC so we don't have to drive to the J (Johnstown)... and then he walks into our place with an absolutely awful haircut and I can understand why he will only go to Peles Salon. There honestly are no words to describe how much I love this place -- I recently wanted to get my hair colored and was exhausted from work so I decided to get my hair done at a top salon IN DC and I lived to regret it. My hair was ORANGE... orange. They completely destroyed my hair. Panicked, I immediately called Peles Salon for the first available appointment and stressed the urgency -- they were so accommodating and let me know everything was going to be OK! Reading this you are probably thinking that there is no way it was as bad as I am making it seem -- rest assured... it was way worse (pictures attached.) When I got to Jesse, he was a dream worker. He was calm and collected and undeniably made me feel comfortable, even though my hair was a total and complete disaster! He took a step back, assessed my hair and came to me with three options to fix my hair. I ultimately told him to use his best judgment because my hair was fried and orange, how could someone fix it? Guys, I kid you not, this man (Jesse) is a miracle worker!! He made my hair look absolutely incredible, as if NOTHING was ever wrong with it (before and after pics attached!) Jesse is the absolute best that there is. I will never go elsewhere because every time I do, I regret it!! I will happily drive 3.5 hours just to go to Peles Salon. There is no place better!!!

I have been coning to JCPenny salon for 20 plus years now and i never leave less than confident. My stylist Stacey hooks me up and has me looking dapper just shy of 15 minutes. The entire salon is clean, professional, and extremely helpful to all its customers. My wife cones here for manicures pedicures and full head service including coloring. She is also a huge fan and lifetime customer. They always have awesome 2 for 1 sales on all of their professional hair products and anything else one might need to maintain that million dollar "do" you walk out of the salon with. I never have to wait for my appointment times and the price is worth the image!!!!!

I don't know how well Kathy treats a customer or runs her business. However, she acts like this for a pair of scissors that cost $298. I strongly do not recommend this salon location. Kathleen claimed that there was something wrong with the scissors she bought. So, she returned the item back to us. As scissors supplier, we got the item back and made the service. Our outside scissors professional mentioned that the service was not necessary, but we did it anyways. Our customer service staff communicated that we will ship out the serviced scissors back to Kathy. However, the day we confirmed and sent the shipment out, she made charge back to her credit card bank. Since she got her money by charge back, she should send the scissors back to us. We sent the shipping label, but she never bother to communicate and made her return. Stay away from doing any kind of business with Salon Vizions. Based on the website, she is the owner. When someone practices business like, who know what else can be done. I attempted to communicate several times. I hope other people don't waste their time and money.

This was the case when I recently stopped in and didn't want to go anywhere else. I was looking for a particular pair of tweezers. I had what I wanted in my head and I had looked just about everywhere else in town and this was the last place I decided to look. I walked in and around the store for some time and was about to give up until a sales associate saw the frustration behind my mask. After asking what I was looking for she took me right to the area that they were available in. Not only did she show me where to look, but she also told me about the multiple types of tweezers. She was amazing and knew exactly what I was looking for and had the knowledge to advise me what kind of tweezers would be best for me. And guess what, they were basically what I had pictured in my mind. Great customer service.

However, I may return to this place. I walked in knowing I needed a haircut, I didn't want a haircut. When I finally made it to a chair I was asked what I wanted and I gave a very vague description of what I wanted. In my mind, when I come to a salon, I assume that no matter what directions you give the stylist, they are going to do what they want. Now, and I pause, Linda, you girl, you are an amazing stylist. I'm not sure how you did it, but what I had pictured in my head, you nailed it. I only gave you two things I wanted, but you were spot on with the end result. Which getting a call from a hair place is strange. But I need one so I went. The young lady spent over 40 minutes on my hair and at the end it is patchy and the lengths make no sense and she didn't even fade the different lengths together.
