This "speakeasy" style lounge really has that glitzy swanky vibe. We went over to Hidden by the…read morebookshelf door from the restaurant next door after dinner, and it really felt like we walked in to another world. The lighting is dim and the sofas are beautiful. There is a red piano on the other side that just looks so regal. We sat at the bar and were quickly taken care of. They have a great variety of cocktails to choose from and some bites as well if you're feeling hungry. I went with the red eye espresso martini and it was amazing. It tasted like chocolate! The combo of Licor 43 and espresso is delish! Highly recommend. It was a Sunday night so there wasn't too many people, but the bartender did tell us they play live music on Fridays and Saturdays and that is when there is a bigger crowd. We will be going back soon!

I would like to come back on a busier night to see the full use of the space. The bartender was nice enough but definitely wanted to hurry up and close (I don't blame him in this slow season). However, There is a way to pre-close without locking the front door and telling us to unlock it before we get out. Advertising a pre packaged mini cheese cake as a fruit tart and charging $18 for it is egregious a lot of fancy words for something that was not tasty.

My daughter and I decided to visit the local Jellyfish Museum in Pompano, and that's a review soon to come. The food was great. We had the sliders with truffle fries and the mahi mahi tacos- yum The red wines were chilled and I wasn't a big fan of that, but I was given a taster before committing to a glass of wine. The views were beautiful - even at night. Great way to unwind and recap the day. Nice that it was on the roof of our hotel- very convenient.

I unfortunately forgot her name, but she took our order right away. We ordered a Long Island, Pineapple Margarita, Shrimp Cocktail, and Ceviche Mixto. The food was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet our food took a while to come. The shrimp cocktail comes with 6 shimps. I was really disappointed with the ceviche. It had no flavor, and I had to ask for salt, pepper, and hot sauce just to give it some taste. The bowl was large, but the actual portion of ceviche was not. I definitely left still hungry. I will say, the location is beautiful. The restaurant sits right by the ocean, and there are areas with fireplaces that create a nice atmosphere. After eating, you can walk toward the pier, which is near the hotel. Since this was my first time in the area, I'm not sure what time it normally closes. Overall, I think the views and atmosphere are the best part, but the food definitely needs some improvement.

The service is great, the drinks are good, and the weed products are even better. Joe is everything that makes up a fantastic bartender, he's been working there longer than I've been a customer. If you like a more standard bar vibe, Wednesday nights are happy hour where the drinks are half off. That's when it's the busiest. However, the atmosphere really shines when there's not a lot of people. It has low lighting, comfy couches and bar seating, chill music is played at a comfortable volume, and the bar has a smart tv. If you're looking for a break from sensory hell, to just go to a place to charge your phone and work on your computer, or to just unwind, I cannot recommend this place enough, especially on Monday/Tuesday nights.
