I ordered online and at first things were moving smoothly and effectively... I stated that I would rather buy another product instead of paying a shipping fee. The person I spoke with (cs) advised me that they would send a link for payment & to pay it promptly as the shoes would not be mailed out until the balance was paid in full (cs provided a very fast refund through PayPal for the shipping btw). I received the link, but it was for an amount higher than I thought I had initially paid. I advised the person (who initially was prompt with responses) that this was more than I had paid initially and that I wanted to pay the price I had initially paid. No response. The person literally fell off the map after this email. No idea why "cs" wouldn't respond with a reason, but there wasn't a response. I still don't understand why. I responded stating that perhaps it was because it was the end of the day on Friday as the reason for the disappearing act and that I would wait until Monday for "cs" response. I then thought that I would test the waters to see if they would respond to a "new" email from someone else asking about purchasing a product and lone behold, the response again was prompt (almost immediate), which lead me to believe that it was time for me to simply ask for a full refund and take my business elsewhere. I had lost all trust & faith in this company at that point & just didn't want to chance dealing with issues with my purchase, if they were to ever arise, later on... Monday came and went without a response, so I simply disputed it via PayPal and then managed to escalate it immediately based on the circumstances (saved me at least 30 extra days of unwarranted nonsense/aggravation/frustration). Was that their point? Did I offend "cs" by asking about the price? I can't help but see OTHER reviews here speaking of this company's employees' conduct. The crazy thing is that the price was actually right! I realize now that I made the mistake of mixing up another recent purchase I had made through another company, but why didn't they point that out? The way "cs" ignored me is what turned me off of the purchase altogether. All they really had to do was respond at ANY capacity and none of this would have ever transpired! Basic Customer Service was the answer to resolve this, NOT putting a paying Customer through the ringer of having to dispute it through the PayPal process, which can take time IF it isn't escalated immediately. Anyway, they have set amount of days to figure this out at this point. It won't make or break me in that time frame as I know that I WILL get my money back before my bill arrives. The ONLY difference will be this review in the end. Refund me quickly and I will edit this review. Prove my theory RIGHT & just drag it out? Then this review will NOT change. Awful company absolutely the worst I've delt with. Imagine selling products online you don't actually have? they try and rip you off with a replacement? I ordered a jacket, 5 days later after all payments are taken they inform me they don't actually have it, even though 2 sizes are left on the site? Offer me a different colour which was 200$ cheeper and didn't offer to refund me the difference until 10 emails down the line. I like to give small boutique stores my money and time, but after this I will have to re think. I certainly won't be using off the hook again in my life. then after 12 days and 15 emails. They offer to send one of the products i purchased for 25$ for free and guess what, it never came. The worst of the worst read more

Whenever I'm in Montreal I always stop by Off the Hook on St Catherine's. Staff is friendly. Store isn't that big but has a good layout. Solid men's hypebeast store - with brands such as Stussy, Brixton, Patagonia, Carhartt, herchel bags, the Hundreds, Nike Tech. The sneaker collection is okay - I've never found anything good. Lots of runners. There is a sale section in the back of the store. Also there is a Vans section on the 3rd floor but I've never been. read more

I recently purchased a pullover , it did not fit and was not on sale. I requested a refund based on the poor fitting of the garment. No response until I escalated the issue to paypal. They finally responded by telling me there was a 20 % restocking fee plus 8.00 for shipping fees and no refund will be issued just a credit note. Located in the heart / downtown of Montreal, I was in town for the Canadian Grand Prix, and normally when I visit places, I try to get t-shirts from streetwear brands that are only known to be in that area. In Montreal, they have Off the Hook & FAKE. OTH is located on the 2nd floor and you might miss it if your not looking for it. They have a sign outside the store that shows you they are located there. YOu go up some flights of stairs and boom, there you go, your in their showroom. They have two levels. I went to the 3rd level but nothing looked too interesting up there, but the 2nd level is where i was shopping around. They have a good selection of Vans, and the usual street wear suspects like Stussy, 10Deep, Hundreds etc. so you should be at home when looking for those types of brands. I was able to pickup my Salute Gilles t-shirt and walked out a happy person. Till this day, I didn't wear it yet for one i'm scared It might fade and two. i gained a few lbs since I bought it. Other then that. I will for sure be checking them out again when I'm in Montreal. read more

Pretty wide selection of streetwear ranging from your usual suspects to harder to find brands. Their website/blog does a pretty good job listing the type of stock they sell, so I won't get into details. But the third floor is currently a OTH x Vans pop-up shop and they do have a QS/Jordan account. Definitely worth a stop by since it's right on the Ste.-Catherine shopping strip and it's a offers a more diverse range than the more urban-focused City Styles and Fake Store is just getting off the ground. You'll find the kiddies shopping here but also has offerings for the the well-dressed casual gentleman (and ladies as well). To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that OTH is pretty much the only game in Montreal. I pictured the store being bigger and more kick selection - it's a solid store but doesn't hold a candle to other Canadian streetwear heavyweights like Livestock and the now-defunct Goodfoot/Nomad. read more

Checked out Off The Hook while I was in Montreal for Mutek. If you like "Streetwear" this is your spot in the city. Even though the 10Deeps and Hundreds of the world aren't really my style I was able to find some really nice pieces by Lifetime and 6pack. Amongst the typical streetwear stuff there are some really nice finds. There sure have a $H!T LO@D of product in the shop. The staff was SUPER helpful and friendly. They tipped us of in detail to other areas of the city we should explore. 5 stars for some of the unique items in the shop and the friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. read more

As been Montreal's best culture store for years now. Off The Hook put us on many brands such as LGR, Obey, Staple, Penfield, and many other - before they became mainstream. They are now home to many of Montreal's exclusive shoe releases. Thus, these past few years I have been a bit disappointed with their clothing selection. read more

True to its name, this place IS off the hook. Small but well picked selection of New Balance, Nike, Saucony, PUMA and Vans. They have super fun shoes for babies, not that I have a baby but my fictional baby would totally wear kicks from here. Nice coats and solid menswear. Bags by Rains!! Was very keen to check this place out since coming to Montreal and have to say I was very disappointed. After being a street wear fanatic for the past few years. Customer service sucked! No one wanted to help me and just looked at me as if they were judging me the whole time! Good variety of brands and clothing but the visual merchandising of the store wasn't very appealing. Don't think I'll be shopping local with these guys but hopefully next time it will be a lot better. read more
