I got Chorizo, Eggs & papas with the side of rice, beans & cheese. With a side of tortilla's. Can't say I'm impressed but it was a decent meal, wish they would have added more beans and rice.

I'll start my review by stating we came in on a Sunday afternoon an hour before closing and the staff was friendly to greet us and sit us down. My friend and I weren't sure what to order on the menu and they were helpful with suggestions and quick to prepare our food. I thought the prices were reasonable for the portions that we got and the flavor was better than I was expecting based on some of the negative reviews. I would definitely want to come back here again and give more of their options a try if I'm passing through the area again! Ps: We got some of their orange coconut desserts on the way out and those were a great treat for the road!

Birria de chivo

Pedi birria de chivo y me llegaron puros guesos. Muy poca carne la mayoria eran tres pedasos de guesos

Look at the meat . Large pieces of fat. Chilaquiles where crunchy like chips. They are supposed to be soft. Worse place ever

I ask for chilaquiles. Cashier said that's our special. Sign said $14 dollars. But then charge me $21 dollars. Then I get the food. The carne azada has lots of fat as seen on the pics. And the chilaquiles are crunchy. I ask for my money. The lady was super rude. This is the first time in my life I asked for my money. This place is a scam too expensive. Bad quality and bad attitude

Carne asada super burrito

Heard about Ofelia's Taqueria when I was on a ski lift with a stranger in Kirkwood (south Lake Tahoe). My friend and I decided to check it out after a long day of snowboarding. My friend and I both loved it. I ordered the carne Assada super burrito. The rice was fresh and flavorful which complimented the refried beans and salsa very well. The server told me they are known for their carne asada and she was right. The asada was seasoned well, crispy, and freshly cooked. The burrito as a whole reminded me of home cooked style burrito that my roommate's mom from college made us. If you have enough room for dessert, I highly recommend the coconut ball they have in the front... my absolute favorite! The servers were very kind, even though we were the last ones there on a Sunday night before they closed. Authentic ambiance inside the taqueria as they have nice artwork on the wall. A lot of tables for dine in options as well. Overall, great experience. I wouldn't be fooled by the three star review if you truly appreciate local authentic taquerias!

This is my go to for menudo. They have it everyday. The tripas tacos are also awesome. I've been here a few times and they never disappoint me. I recommended this place.

Customer service was excellent. The ladies in there this afternoon were cooking their butts off! I had a fire burrito made to perfection.

Both food and customer service is great. I highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an authentic quick bit to eat.

DECENT FOOD, COMPLIMENTARY SALSA BAR…read more I recently moved home to Tracy, after living in LA for a few years. I came here because it reminded me of a neighborhood taqueria (El Tarasco) that I would visit frequently. While this restaurant can't match the quality of chicken I've had in LA, it's still good and delivers all the notes I expect in a good burrito--like rice, beans, and moist chicken. Aside from the food, the real star of this shop is the self-serve salsa & chips--something that is incredibly disappearing from the Mexican food scene. Their bar contains the pickled carrots & jalapeños, which I appreciate! I'll likely be back to try the other meats--like carne asada and chorizo.

The food is good, but the service was unbelievably unprofessional. And the worst part about it is…read moreit came from the manager that was unprofessional Angelica. I spent $100 just some tacos and I ate it at the restaurant they give you a small tray for chips which I ended up using for salsa when I asked for a second small tray she made a big deal about it and used a sarcastic tone. It was almost embarrassing to have this happen by a lot simply because of the Customer service I will not recommend this place and being a member of the Mountain House Community. I would also relay my experience. I will attach a photo of my receipt

There are a couple of tv's on the walls to catch a game. Their extensive menu features a wide variety of dishes, so there's something to satisfy just about any Mexican food craving. They have a good special going on right now that offers six beers for $25 and it also includes chips and guacamole. One thing that stands out is the friendly and welcoming staff, who consistently provide excellent service. If you enjoy a soda with your meal, keep in mind that beverages are served in cans rather than from a fountain. After ordering, guests can help themselves at the chips and salsa bar. The chips are always fresh, and there are several salsa options available in convenient squeeze bottles. It's a nice setup that allows you to bring your favorite salsa back to the table and enjoy as much as you'd like. Overall, this is a fun, casual spot that's definitely worth checking out if you haven't visited yet.

The chicken quesadilla was more like a chicken soft taco in size and taste, no melted cheese or the big size you expect with a quesadilla. The salsa for tje chips and to use were ok. I preferred the extra hot. But over all it was decent, but not blowing me away.
