No meat in 50% of the burrito.
    Chris L.

I will give this place a 2 for now. The taco was good and I enjoyed it. I got the asada, i would actually order it again. First time coming here so I tried that and a burrito. The sauce is not hot, it's a sweet, soy type of bbq sauce if you ask me. Not spicy at all! However, when I got to the burrito it was the biggest piece of trash I've eaten. Not surprised, this whole city of tracy has the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The first bite I got was mostly gristle. Had to spit it out. After about 25% of the way through there was no meat. Just beans, guacamole and rice, and refried beans. I just tore off that 50% until I got what appeared to be meat. Nope. The last 25% was just gristle again. Spit it out. You can see in the pictures what I had to throw away. I would recommend taking this off the menu. At least trim your meat if you are going to use inferior chuck steak. I paid $16 for 1/4 burrito. I'll go back to try the Mariscos. Maybe I'll change it to 3 but as of now I would not recommend the burrito. I've tried all the places in Tracy for Mexican food and none are good. Different taste buds around here. Coming from LA to this is sad.

Two fish tacos and shrimp taco, everything was good.

I called for a pick up order, the restaurant was pretty full and lady whom attended me was nice. The food, I ordered; 2 fish tacos and 1 shrimp taco. Soooo yummy. Great portions of food, we highly recommend. I will definitely go back for more.

Good service good food big parking area nice outdoor seating perfect for those nice summer nights to enjoy a good meal outdoors. Mostly seafood meals I'm not a seafood meal person so I enjoyed my carne asada hot link and rice. My son in law loves his seafood along with my grandson so they were in heaven enjoying their food.

Pescado Frito (rice and tortillas not shown)

An incredible array of well prepared seafood. My pescado frito was lightly seasoned, not oily, and was served with 4 grilled seasoned shrimp, rice, tortillas, lemon, and lime. My wife had "4 X 4" shrimp. That's 16 large shrimp prepared four ways: grilled, bacon and cheese wrapped, coconut fried, and plain fried. Her dish included fries, salad, and a spicy sauce that perfectly complemented the shrimp. Service was friendly and attentive. We ate outside and enjoyed the cool evening breeze aside a thoughtfully lowered sunshade.

Was passing through Tracy and was craving some seafood. Saw this spot pop up on Yelp and decided to stop by and give it a try. SO HAPPY I did. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and for the price ($15) it was well worth it. They put a good amount of shrimp and the flavor took me back to Mexico beachside. The shrimp are jumbo and taste fresh. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a cocktail to go. So worth it! Also, they are following proper Covid precautions. Staff is wearing masks and indoor seating is not allowed.

First time here and got food to go. Shrimp tacos, thanks to the reviews, were soooo good. The tortillas were crunchy, and filled with fried shrimp, avocado, and other vegetables. Sorry, they were so good I scarfed them down so not sure what else was in them. Also got fish tacos and my son says they were bomb! Next time coming here again w my Mexican friends so that we know what to order and have a seafood feast!

Imitation crab in the molcajete instead of actual crab as pictured on the menu
    Kristina H.

Was excited to try this place but left extremely disappointed. We ordered the molcajete de mar y Tierra and oyster shots. Oyster shots were ok, But they were room temp. Probably would've been better if they were cold (same goes for their micheladas). The molcajete sauce was ok. Octopus was super tender, short ribs were decent. The sauce tho, kinda reminded me of a watered down Alfredo with a hint of tomato. The BIGGEST disappointed tho was that we expected crab as pictured on the menu, but we were given imitation crab instead. Service is terrible too. Asked for water 4 times before getting a cup. Asked for another for my bf, waitress kept coming back asking "anything else?" we gave up on the water and just kept telling her we were fine and didn't need anything lol.

Both the Fish and Shrimp tacos were delicious!

Checked out this place just off downtown Tracy. Ordered a couple of fish tacos and one shrimp taco and was disappointed at all. Portions were solid. This place does not skimp on the seafood as well. I'm not a local, but would be happy to make a pit stop just for these seafood tacos!

The food was great. Seafood was fresh and the waitress was polite. Good presentation is key, and they were on point.

(We have eaten a few times at dinner but I was curious as to how different would the lunch be but it didn't appear any different, but then it could have been the Memorial Day special is the same as dinner offerings). I used to be able to eat a ton at buffets but I'm much older now and usually one full plate is enough. I tried a little of each of my favorite foods, ribs, dim sum, fried shrimp, walnut shrimp, bok Choy, green beans, salmon, egg rolls, Mongolian beef, stuffed shrimp, sushi and dessert watermelon and a creamy strawberry dessert! Wow, it was all very good, I would have liked to go for seconds to try more different foods but I was full. Gohan is a really great deal considering that Vegas buffets cost you $80 plus for a feast like this. If you love Asian food and especially seafood, this is the place to try! They have plenty of seating and the table staff are on top of clearing off dishes from your table.

Chicken Karaage (1/5) We were very disappointed. It wasn't true karaage, it felt more like frozen popcorn chicken with super thick batter. Not good at all. They also forgot the mayo that typically comes with it. I had to ask, and they brought out spicy mayo on the side. I only knew to ask because I've had karaage many times before, including during the time I lived in Japan. And I'm not comparing it to Japan standards, I've had great karaage here in the U.S. too. This just wasn't it. We ate a few pieces and then let our server know we couldn't continue. The server was very nice about it, and the manager removed it from our bill, which we appreciated. Ramen (2/5) When it first arrived, it had a slightly off smell and I was immediately hesitant. I didn't want to judge it too quickly, though. The broth ended up being very pepper-heavy, which was... interesting. Not necessarily in a good way. It just wasn't something I'd order again. Beer (5/5) Hubby loved his beer! Our only note is that we wish we'd been told it was the giant bottle size , that thing was huge and only hubby was drinking that night. Overall: The service was friendly. I'd skip the ramen here and come back to try their sushi instead. That seemed to be the real star of the restaurant.

It was a weekday around 1:00 pm, and the restaurant was already pretty busy when we arrived. Everything was comforting and satisfying, and came out nice and hot. The banchan was a little on the weaker side compared to other Korean restaurants, but overall it didn't take away from the experience.
