Options for a designated desk which you would pay monthly for or the Day drop in option which is what usually do. For $20 you can have access to the common area which has only 8 seats around a table. Decent access to power outlets, adequate wifi and two small conference rooms should you require. There is only one phone room in case you have to take a phone call so be wary if you are conducting a lot of business this way. The way the space is set up, it is pretty close quarters so a phone conversation would be a no no. One free beverage from Ada's is great since they have an amazing coffee options. And they bring it up to you when its ready. Same goes for food from the great cafe which is brought up to the Office when ready. This feels like a WeWork space without all the bells and whistles but it gets the job done. Also, the hours are much better than at most other shared office spaces. 8am to 9pm everyday including weekends (i believe) which is more flexible than other office spaces which only offer weekday options for drop ins (like me) and only 9a to 6p usually. Yet another for you to head to Ada's!!

The building looks modern and sleek, not at all child-friendly, but certainly allows for dogs to roam and be free throughout the space. The other members are fantastic, friendly, and fabulous. It's an eclectic mix of businesses and freelancers -- not just tech startup people. Marnee also does a lot of community events including member lunches, happy hours and seasonal celebrations. Also lots of free parking - no need to deal with parking in downtown or SLU.

We have regular happy hours, member events, and there are plenty of opportunities to get to know your co-working neighbor. Alternatively, if you want to huddle behind a desk with your headphones in, you won't be harassed. 4) Rent's high and getting higher! A co-working space is the best way to utilize your business income to marketing and outreach rather than wasting it on hyper-inflated rents and painful long-term contracts. 5) A full kitchen means you don't have to eat out - unless you want to. Note - it's stocked for Happy Hour and also houses private conference rooms and a place to film video. I'm incredibly grateful for Marnee's creativity and initiative in getting Works Progress off the ground and running and keeping it going. I never expected my rent costs to *drop* over the years, but they have! If you are sick of sitting at home staring at the walls come in for a free day trial and meet the gang. They're happy to have visitors!

She said she dropped by just once, but they've got her on their website, making her look like a current member. If you do decide to become a member, don't expect to be networking with the people in the Cloud Room marketing materials.

They were also very pleasant in-person (thank you, Laura & Leyla!). The facility itself was warm & welcoming. Our team used the Cedar room where unlimited chart paper was cleverly pinned on the wall. The AV accommodations were also inclusive as they provided video conferencing and cords/attachments for different devices. They also provided us with coffee and water--with the ease of catering/dashing food as needed. Overall, 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back next time we're in town!

I could see this place working really well for someone with a position that is mostly heads down work. There is one meeting room but not a lot of places to take calls. They say that you are good to take calls in the public area but I would always feel like I was disturbing people. It wasn't busy when I visited but once it could busy I could see it not being a great fit for a client facing role. If you're comparing this location to Seattle co-working on California, they are very similar but Seattle co-working offers monitors you can plug into, has two rooms to take calls in, if you don't want to do it in a public area, coffee and cafes next door, but it seems like they have a waitlist over there usually. I didn't end up going with them either, but ended up taking the water taxi over the WeWork downtown to avoid a Bellevue or Ballard commute in a car. Probably would've went with this business due to its location if they had telephone booths or better call options like WeWork does. Great to support local company if this space works for you though.

I am also very impressed with their attention to COVID prevention. The owners make us feel so welcome each day. I enjoy a view of downtown Seattle and delicious coffee while I get SO much more done than I can at home. I love the "bring your kid to work days" and how kid friendly the environment is.
