The first two appointments had me filling out a ton of paperwork, reading material of the why's and how's of treatment, and watching videos. Honestly, I just wanted pain relief, preferably without medication. After reviewing my paperwork, taking xrays and talking with me, I got just that! I committed to treatment, showed up for my scheduled appointments and I am well on my way to feeling 100% better, learning what triggers some of my muscle tension, what stretches to do the lessen the pain and look forward to seeing more aligned xrays in the future. I haven't even begun to tell you about the staff here! They are absolutely fantastic, kind, understanding, flexible and most importantly, knowledgeable. They offer so many services and have great staff leading each area. What other Dr's office does the Dr text you a reminder about your appointment the next day and respond to that text when you have a question? Highly recommend them!

One Medical at Pike & Rose has a great office. The interior design is welcoming, the music is…read moregreat, and parking is convenient. The PCP I saw had excellent bedside manner and was very thorough. I have no complaints about the doctor or the medical care I received. However, I would not recommend the staff member who was drawing blood in the morning. Before we started, I specifically explained that I am not good with needles and that my veins can be difficult to find. I asked for someone experienced with difficult blood draws so the process could be done with as few complications as possible. Unfortunately, she was unable to locate my vein. She inserted the needle where the vein was not and then attempted to reposition the needle under my skin to find it. It felt like a blindfolded dart competition. I immediately asked her to stop and politely requested another person to draw my blood. I was told there was no one else available at that time. I returned the following morning hoping someone different would be available, but the same person was there, and I was told no one else would be available until 10 a.m. I understand that difficult blood draws happen, and I don't expect every attempt to be perfect. But when a patient specifically communicates that they have difficult veins and anxiety around needles, I believe that concern should be taken seriously and an experienced person should be available when possible. I'm sharing this because I would not want someone else who has difficulty with blood draws to have the same experience. The office and PCP were excellent. My concern is specifically with the blood-draw experience and morning staffing.

I'm honestly not sure what I paid for. I arrived for my appointment and the entire session lasted…read moreabout 15 minutes. All that was done was a hot device used briefly on my cheek area and a large amount of cold gel. I didn't complain at the time, but after comparing this service to how other places perform similar treatments, I now feel like I may have been taken advantage of and ripped off by this company. On top of that, the 15 minute session cost $199, and if I hadn't reminded her that I already paid a deposit, I would have been charged the full amount. This experience was very disappointing. Please be cautious before booking here.

I come back & unlike the staff when I first came, this group is very friendly and sociable. After spending a good 30 minutes in the waiting room (where I pay ahead of time) and 20 minutes talking to an aid (who kept trying to offer me better solutions for birth control other than what I already have) I only spend 5 minutes doing the actual pee test and survey before they leave me in a room for another 45 minutes to consult with the clinician (who they strongly suggest you talk to after your visit whether you want to or not) and I can finally go. It only took a few days/almost a week for my results to come (in an unmarked envelope - per my request) and not only was my shipping information misspelled, but so were the diseases I was being tested for (which I was shocked to find out were only 3. AIDs/HIV not included) My results said everything is fine, but I'll most likely get another test done elsewhere, since I'm currently being treated by my doctor for one of the stis they said I tested negative for. Pros: Clean atmosphere, semi-reasonable waiting time, very informative, lots of samples (especially condoms), reasonable hours Cons: Wishywashy staff, not much privacy at the receptionist desk, unsterile? (there was a cabinet in the bathroom to submit my paper cup full of pee for testing & when I opened it, there were other cups with initials on them sitting there. No lids or anything)
