Long story short, someone else put a bad engine in my car and some unusual problems that took some extreme auto investigative skills to figure out! They were able to pinpoint it though and for the first time in almost a year, I actually feel safe driving my car. They were also delightful to work with. Thank you Watkinsville Automotive Team!

I looked long and hard for a shop that I consider a good honest shop to do my services. After the glowing reports of Watkinsville Automotive, I decided to have them work on my toyota avalon. The work was done the way I would have done it. The car runs better than when I bought it (used), it was done on time. One way you can tell it a good shop is how busy it is to get in. I highly recommend Watkinsville Automotive.

I don't عادة leave reviews unless a business truly stands out--but Car Craft of Watkinsville…read moreabsolutely deserves it. From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my vehicle, gave me an honest estimate upfront, and didn't try to upsell anything I didn't need--which is rare these days. What really impressed me was their efficiency and attention to detail. The work was completed quickly, and everything was done right the first time. It's obvious they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their customers. Finding a trustworthy mechanic isn't easy, but these guys have earned my business for the long haul. If you're looking for honest, reliable, and top-quality auto service, I highly recommend them. -- Bob Hendrix

Extremely dishonest and apathetic staff…read more I went in for an oil change and was told the amount. it was double anything I had ever paid for an oil change for one. I was there though and didn't want to waste time going somewhere else. Then it took over an hour with no updates align the way or apologies about wait time. I was told it would be an in-and-out situation. When I was finally called up to check out and pay, I was told the total was way more than what I was originally told by the person checking me in. After asking for the cost breakdown, and specifically asking about the difference in what I was told versus what I was being asked to pay, I was met with total apathy. I wish the person had just said, "I don't care." but the attitude and communication was saying that for him. But this last part takes the cake. It was an oil change good for 7,000 miles. when I got in the car, the sticker that tells you when you are supposed to get your next oil change said, "Next Oil Change: Oil Change Indicator." So at this point in the experience I knew I should check. Sure enough, the oil change indicator was set to alert at 5,000 miles-- not 7,000. I would not recommend to anyone who appreciates working with honest people. This is my first-ever review if that tells you how much this frustrated me.

I cannot recommend S&S Mobile Mechanics highly enough…read more On Monday morning, I left Virginia and began driving to Texas to relocate for a new job. I was traveling in my wife's minivan with our Labrador, Mia. During the trip, I began having battery and alternator problems. After replacing both the battery and alternator in North Carolina, the battery warning light came back on late Monday night. I drove to the nearest AutoZone and stayed there until they opened the next morning. The wonderful employees at AutoZone recommended S&S Mobile Mechanics, and I am incredibly grateful that they did. When I arrived, Chris, Shawn, and Shawn's wife warmly welcomed both Mia and me into their home. They made sure Mia had a comfortable place to rest while they immediately began inspecting the minivan. Chris identified the alternator problem within minutes and replaced it right there. They charged me only $150 for the service, which was extremely reasonable, especially considering how quickly they helped me and the situation I was facing. They were respectful, professional, compassionate, and genuinely good-hearted people. They understood that I was trying to make it safely to Texas and went above and beyond to help ensure that I could continue my trip without further problems. I am happy to say that Mia and I made it safely to Texas, and the minivan is running wonderfully. People like Chris, Shawn, and Shawn's wife give me hope for humanity. We need more people--and more companies--like S&S Mobile Mechanics in this world. As a retired Air Force Major who is accustomed to handling difficult situations, I can honestly say that their kindness and support brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you again for everything you did for Mia and me. I will never forget your kindness. Five stars are simply not enough.

Thankfully I found this place and the next day (Sunday) he came out and it ended up being a battery that was going bad. It saved me a lot of time, and not to mention the major savings of the extra night(s) accommodations, and price of a starter repair (5 1/2 hr job) vs. a battery.
