Special orders were no problem (I needed sinking food for starting out with the fry) Went back the other day to purchase a bag of catfish adult food and well, my fault, took the wrong 50# bag home. Omnivorous is for Talapia & Catfish, carnivorous is for Bass & Perch. No problem with the return, credit and repurchase. The help didn't complain about the extra totin' of 50# bags to and from my car. There have been other issues too that were handled with good ole' southern friendly charm! Commerce with confidence. You'll be treated right. My first visit was a hoot because I kept hearing what sounded like a miniature vacuum cleaner droning noise in the front display area. I actually thought this old-timey country store might even have one of those high tech computerized vacuum units patrolling the sales floor for "stuff" to clean up. Well after about 10 minutes of my perusing their interesting inventory of farm animal wares and accessories, low and behold a adult pot bellied pig rounds the corner! Now this guy is quite a good sport too I'm told. He will gladly untie your shoes for you if you let him/her? This hunk of pork is all of 3' long and his back is close to 24" of the floor. Soooo cute - but not too fluffy! The ole pig is as friendly as can be, and will make you day-visit I'm sure! That is if the chicken pecking at feed behind the front counter, or the huge (15# ?) rabbit she keeps in tow while ringing up your charge at the register doesn't! What else can I say? I enjoy the visits and always have left happier than when I entered. They also have cat and dog, and other farmer stuff products too. Next visit I'll get a close up mug shot of the, ummmmm, piggy, piggy!

Always a plus when you can get lost in the flora and fauna that surrounds. Much more selection than your average big box store. I can assure you, despite the very pleasant manner at the other end of the phone, you will get screwed. After 3 trips, 80 mile round trips each, I returned the obvious 10 gallon size orange tree that was in a 30 gallon pot. The spindly, small diameter trunk, sickly, broke branch tree was a joke. The owner needs to have a stenographer at his side to keep up with his lies. The appearance of the nursery is indicative of the owner's customer care. It looks like a run down/nasty version of what might have been a decent place at one time. The photos on the Yelp or nursery site do not, for the most part, depict the place I saw on multiple trips, Feb and March 2019, to Coleman Nursery. Again, BUYER BEWARE.

I was particularly impressed by the two orders of the Philodendron Atabapoense. They were both ~17" tall with Lots of leaves. I'm pretty certain that each had a 12" leaf in a 4" pot. Unreal In addition the Stunning healthy plants, I was just as impressed by the care that went into wrapping & packaging. It was more than a consumer would ever expect. I order many plants online & either plants were crushed, a leaf/stem broken, an over-abundance of soil in the box (which makes it very messy); or.. you need a battle axe to unwrap the plant. But not this shop. Every step of packaging was handled with care. I was incredibly impressed. Corrugated cardboard protected the plant, a white grow bag material covered each individually, and fluffy cotton wrapped around the soil. Not only were the plants Large & Healthy, beautifully wrapped (by Taylor - Thank Youuuu!!!) Now let's talk about Leveling Up the game. I was surprised to see another Gift- a Story on your individual plant via a QR code! What?! . Can we talk about "Attention to Detail & elevating the Experience?". Personal email contact (not just canned text) to be sure they were shipped before weather dropped below freezing was especially appreciated. Points for Sarah!

My husband bought me a beautiful plant in a glass container about 3 years ago. It started declining, so I took it in and they offered to repot it for me. They also host events and workshops. I wanted to buy EVERYTHING lol. I loved the story book flower vases inspired by classic novels. I also loved their use of hanging amaranthus throughout the shop and that they had it available for purchase if you wanted to create a similar aesthetic for yourself. I found the most intricate & beautiful greeting cards. They are calling quilling cards -- the kind you keep forever because they're just too pretty to toss out. I ended up getting two: one "get well soon" card for a friend another any occasion card. I will definitely keep LiveTrends top of mind the next time I need to pickup a unique gift for someone.
