He is over at the Central Coast scamming elderly, mobil home owner's. He got my mom and I want to find him. He will tell you that the labor is free and he would only charge for the materials. He was only here for 2 hours and asked her for $ 1500.00. He did have someone working with him and together they did not deserve what he asked. He did not give her a written estimate, and then said he would email her a receipt. That never happened. He is a total scammer. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau. He also was to come and work for other people in this park. They looked the company up and decided not to go with him. I want to also contact the local police department. Hired them to do some drywall patching. Just texted them back and waiting to see the response. Patched the ceiling and light switch area on a wall. There are areas missed, looks like it was touched with something and smudged, not sanded very well and the texture was off. I would have saved $350 and do it with a can for a similar quality of texture. The work didn't turn out well and was hard to tell in the daylight with the initial work, but at night once it dried it was very obvious. Honestly disappointed with the work. Update: contractor came back a second time luckily. The effort did not correct the initial issues, but on top of that made a bigger mess and literally used a texture can for the drywall. Made a mess all over my kitchen and door frames, windows and cabinets. Still finding a mess week later. Drywall dust was tracked through my living room. I had to provide a broom for them and at one point asked 3 times for one of two workers to clean up all the dust as he stood around for 5 minutes. Cleaned out the plaster in my landscape bed without cleaning it. Tripped a breaker on my garage outlets (hard to do, not sure how). Very lazy. Did not bring their own equipment to do the job on both attempts. read more

Don't recommend working with this company. Found them via Yelp project request, and we agreed to meet at a certain time. No show, no phone call, and decided to change the rate via email based on distance from location. All variables should be considered before giving the first estimate. Don't recommend. Why is this relevant to future prospects? Respect your time. We take time off to be available for the contractor. Bare-minimum is to call the client and let them know you can't make it. read more

I feel meeting Calep and Gerber was a blessing that my wife gave to me. I hired this fella to put in pre-hung doors, that was our agreement only to have him take all 5 pre-hung doors off their frames and then put the doors in the existing frames. It was unbelievable! I told Calip I paid for the prehung doors and I was paying him 200 ea. to put in the prehung doors. I told him he has to make this right and he offered 300 off. Peanuts to what I lost. I didn't take it it was an insult. Calip, had no right to unilaterally make that kind of decision after we agreed to prehung doors in writing. They were able to knock out the job in a reasonable timeframe and left zero mess and they were able to work on a quick extra project rewiring some wire in the guest bedroom. read more
