Shoddy job and promises of fixing have gone by the wayside. Lots of gravel in the asphalt. Quite a few "holes" where the underneath dirt is showing. Crumbly edges. Very uneven. The area in my yard where they parked their machinery daily for over a week was left very uneven with dirt pushed up against my fence. Not at all satisfied. read more

They worked on our roof, said it was guaranteed for 5 years. It's leaking again and nobody answers or calls back. Scammed, terrible work.

I am on here because a man named Charles Gallagher is using this Company's name/business license #. His personal phone # is 559-326-8771. He is over at the Central Coast scamming elderly, mobil home owner's. He got my mom and I want to find him. He will tell you that the labor is free and he would only charge for the materials. He was only here for 2 hours and asked her for $ 1500.00. He did have someone working with him and together they did not deserve what he asked. He did not give her a written estimate, and then said he would email her a receipt. That never happened. He is a total scammer. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau. He also was to come and work for other people in this park. They looked the company up and decided not to go with him. I want to also contact the local police department. He is a crook and it needs to stop. read more

Manuel was remarkable. He responded to the Yelp request super fast & told me that he would be at my house by Friday. He came in, looked at the project, and told me his cost, which was super affordable compared to what other electricians were quoting me. Overall, my experience with him was smooth, professional, and efficient. He did the job in less than an hour, and I was pleased with his workmanship. He is my go-to electrician now, and I would recommend him if you are looking for someone who knows exactly what they are doing; and oh, someone affordable also. read more

Paid them and never came back to finish paving my driveway. They also did a horrible job patching cracks and holes in the pavement

Hired to install a Tesla EV level 2 home charger. We communicated primarily through Yelp. Firstly, they were 2 hours late and it took a callback to ensure they were still coming. The install went well however. Overall, great electrical work, stuck to the agreed upon estimate, but they could improve on communication and punctuality. read more

Hired them to do some drywall patching. Just texted them back and waiting to see the response. Patched the ceiling and light switch area on a wall. There are areas missed, looks like it was touched with something and smudged, not sanded very well and the texture was off. I would have saved $350 and do it with a can for a similar quality of texture. The work didn't turn out well and was hard to tell in the daylight with the initial work, but at night once it dried it was very obvious. Honestly disappointed with the work. Update: contractor came back a second time luckily. The effort did not correct the initial issues, but on top of that made a bigger mess and literally used a texture can for the drywall. Made a mess all over my kitchen and door frames, windows and cabinets. Still finding a mess week later. Drywall dust was tracked through my living room. I had to provide a broom for them and at one point asked 3 times for one of two workers to clean up all the dust as he stood around for 5 minutes. Cleaned out the plaster in my landscape bed without cleaning it. Tripped a breaker on my garage outlets (hard to do, not sure how). Very lazy. Did not bring their own equipment to do the job on both attempts. read more

Don't recommend working with this company. Found them via Yelp project request, and we agreed to meet at a certain time. No show, no phone call, and decided to change the rate via email based on distance from location. All variables should be considered before giving the first estimate. Don't recommend. Why is this relevant to future prospects? Respect your time. We take time off to be available for the contractor. Bare-minimum is to call the client and let them know you can't make it. read more

I was in a crunch for time, and contacted multiple electricians. Caleb responded and said he would take care of my request the following morning. Caleb and his partner arrived on time. They were courteous and explained what needed to be done to repair my electrical problem. They repaired it at a reasonable price. I will definitely use them again. read more

Ocho cinco went above and beyond for me. They provided competitive pricing, did amazing work, and were very time efficient. I love how my pop out wall turned out. This may be a little different then most reviews. i am not Typically one too talk this way about someone that aside from a business transaction I don't really know. I feel meeting Calep and Gerber was a blessing that my wife gave to me. I am moving into a mobile home to be closer to my grandkid. these two men worked so hard sheet rocking the whole house, plus added recessed lighting throughout and if you've ever seen the way the electrical is done in a mobile home that was a huge undertaking and they did an excellent job for fair price. these men are Exceptional I highly recommend them for any task you need to have done. read more

Calep was easy to work with, communicated what he was doing throughout the whole process and his price was extremely reasonable.

This review is posted right after they completed repairing my drywall. Calep and his associate were quick and responsive. They even textured the repairs to match the original wall. I am very impressed of their work. Their rates are very reasonable and was worth the money. I intend to use their services again for my home repairs. read more

I hired this fella to put in pre-hung doors, that was our agreement only to have him take all 5 pre-hung doors off their frames and then put the doors in the existing frames. It was unbelievable! I told Calip I paid for the prehung doors and I was paying him 200 ea. to put in the prehung doors. I told him he has to make this right and he offered 300 off. Peanuts to what I lost. I didn't take it it was an insult. Calip, had no right to unilaterally make that kind of decision after we agreed to prehung doors in writing. He cost me a-lot of money and the lights he put in the kitchen was poorly done and I had to repair the dry wall. Pictures coming! read more

Manuel provided great service. I had a wiring issue and needed service immediately due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Manuel was responsive and flexible and even came over to fix my issue on Thanksgiving morning. I figured he would charge me a higher rate but there was no additional fee for the service he provided. He was thorough, professional and cleaned up the area prior to leaving my residence. I would definitely use him again for my electrical needs. He was GREAT and very very reasonable. read more

Quick Response, repaired the drywall. Great Job! I would definitely recommend! Reasonable price.

Calep showed up same day and completed the work efficiently on our electrical panel and for a great price (less than the 'service fee' for most providers). Definitely recommend and will call again if/when the need arises. read more

Quick response to my inquiry! They came out the next day on time! They were great... did a fantastic job! I will be hiring them back for some of my upcoming house projects/ home improvements.

Very pleased with the work provided by Manuel. He came out to give an estimate on a hardwire issue for a security lamp/camera. A quote was provided and he was able to complete our project that afternoon. We like like his work because the installation looks great and neatly done. Manuel also cleaned up his work area - didn't leave a mess or residual materials behind. Will use his services again!! read more

We strongly "DO NOT" recommend this company for any of your project needs. We had an agreement with Ocho 5 Builders (Calep) to hardwire our Swim Spa. Never showed, never called, failed returning messages and completely unprofessional. We CANNOT even give this company ONE STAR that is how bad this experience has been. We had to give them a minimum of one star in order to post the review. Rest assured this one star rating is not warranty. read more
