We were able to call a few days prior so that they can make special side dishes that were Allergen friendly. We were celebrating our 13th anniversary and though I couldn't eat a lot of the special food When celebrating, everything still felt very special and the things that I could eat were absolutely phenomenal. I was very impressed. I would say this is a high 4, with one star down because even after talking to the manager and reminding the weight staff, the kitchen still brought me out two types of dairy with my appetizer, which led me to be a little paranoid the rest of the meal. After looking through the ingredient list which were provided promptly and graciously my trust was restored, but I always get a little bit nervous when it comes to allergies when I see that the staff in Kitchen and front staff are not communicating well. It was still a lovely meal, and I appreciate them going above and beyond to accommodate my allergens. I got the crabcake, surf and turf, a special request drink from the bar that was nonalcoholic, and a sorbet with fruit. I'm still dreaming about the crabcake and surf and turf. It was so good and cooked perfectly. I can't wait to try to re-create the crabcake at home. I was astounded at how delicious it was. I really enjoyed the fresh mango and strawberry in the salad that came out with a crabcake. Even though the crabcake sauce and the salad dressing both had dairy and were served with my appetizer, it was yummy without those sauces. It would've been nice if someone offered me an alternate sauce or had thought to tell me that they contain my allergy and I thought we were on the same page. I got a cherry limeade drink from the bar and it was very delicious. I don't normally get drinks but it was kind of fun to get something fruity and fun for a celebration. The bread was delicious and didn't contain the allergens so I was able to enjoy it without butter. I am not normally a sorbet girl and I probably wouldn't have normally ordered dessert here but since we were a celebrating, I wanted to try some thing sweet. I couldn't believe how good the sorbet was. It was a little rich, but it was so tasty. I think it would've been really excellent paired with a very light not overly sweet vanilla bean cake. It was so fruity and rich that it needed something to balance it out. I'm not complaining. It was excellent in a very nice end to the meal. Overall, 4.5 stars all of the stuff was lovely and it was nicely decorated for Christmas. Thank you so much for the lovely anniversary dinner!

We ordered to-go, and the food could have been ready in as few as 10 minutes. The employee taking my order asked if I wanted it that soon, or later, and I appreciated her accommodating my request for a bit later. Once the food was picked up and back home we dug into the bag. Flaky crab and plump shrimp were surrounded by pork sausage and baby potatoes. Our hands were dripping in the butter sauce by the time we finished, but we didn't mind. Even with the "no spice" seasoning level, we enjoyed the mild heat from the food. JJ's is a great spot for trying something new and one that I hope you'll check out soon too!

The servers are not very friendly, helpful or welcoming. Service is very slow even on slow nights. No one seems to care either. Given the exceptional service at other restaurants it is a deterrent for returning. Drinks are reasonably priced and a good selection. For being scratch made they are not able to accommodate allergies well. Most things are marinated or prepped ahead. Besides Sushi or ordering plain noodles there isn't much I could order. My husband did enjoy the Burger and would order it again. I just wish there was more I could eat. For the Sushi its not anything outstanding. The flavor of the Crab Salad isn't our favorite. The Black Pearl Roll unfortunately, is not worth the pricing. $25 for a roll with mostly cucumber. It's also not very consistent in sizing. Once it was so large I could barely fit it in my mouth and the other times very small. If you plan to charge $25 for a Sushi Roll it should contain a good amount of Sushi. I can go across the street and get amazing Tuna Tartare for under $15 with plenty of Tuna.

I felt like the portion wasn't super big for bread that was not complimentary, but it was so good. Very light and the honey butter was excellent. The soup was also nice, i liked that it was chicken meatballs. We got all 3 of the d&l chicken. They were able to do a substitution for my mom with some garlic and that was very appreciated. My one note is that i would have liked a noodle base for my chicken, it needed something for all of the very strong sauce, something to soak it up if you will. They also have an inciardi print machine which is an added bonus! Overall it is a good place to be for a nicer than average meal. Still casual enough but can be fancy too.

I had the carbonara on my first night going there and I wasn't a fan of it probably because they use tagliatelle. Didn't taste authentic like what I've had in Italy. The tiramisu looks amazing though.

This Sunday, my mom invited myself and my siblings to join her for brunch. The ambience was amazing - with lovely natural lighting and gorgeous table settings. The menu makes every dish seem mouthwatering and delicious. When the plates came out, they were gorgeous and the food looked so inviting. Unfortunately, the taste was completely lacking. If you're going to charge the prices they're charging, the flavor should be amazing in every single bite. We sampled four different dishes, and none blew me away. Some, were even borderline "bad." Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.

Their ambiance is really nice with saxophone music playing, unique wall paper, and pretty lights. Our server was really friendly and helpful. I will say, my plate had a stain on it when I first sat down so I asked for a fresh one. The waitress let us know that typically dinner takes a whole of 1.5 hours. She said she times it based off of how we eat. For example, she brings the drinks and appetizers out first and then once we finish that, she brings the salad or soup. And then from there, she brings the entree's. Their beignet bread was delicious with the garlic butter (I even asked for seconds later on)!! Their salad was also really tasty (I got the lemon dressing one) and it comes with croutons that are just like the beignet bread but made in smaller sizes and slightly crispier. We enjoyed calamari and fig with bacon appetizers. Everything was very tasty! We will definitely return! Bathroom was clean but the seat was just super low (like for a child). We parked at the nearby lot and it cost $9 for about 2 hours.
