This is one of the only times where my fellow Yelpers got it completely wrong. Gizzards chewy like rubber bone, the Mac and cheese was so watery couldn't even keep that mush on my fork, the chicken shawarma is thin slices of dried tasteless chicken I think. The coleslaw was like eating a spoonful of Mayo the bread that came along with it was two pieces of hillbilly wheat bread. I hate getting played and ripped off for my hard earned money. So I have to give the type of review you deserve. This place should be shit down for stealing my money and serving disgusting shit food. I'm so mad because I was so excited and hungry. I recommend finishing with the sweet potato pie, but I've heard the lemon pound cake is excellent too. I can't wait to come back!!

The bar has some age and character to it, with plenty of local selections on tap, as well as expanded offerings in cans and bottles. I ended up going with the famous smash burger (two 4-is. patties), no onions, provolone cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. 11/10 would do again! Definitely see why GQ Magazine rates it one of the top 20 in the US! The Cajun fries were a little too meaty and not enough "crisp" for my personal liking, but this is definitely a great location option with tremendous atmosphere and welcoming surroundings!
