I do wish they had more funding though because they don't have a lot of books. More often than not the book I want isn't offered there so I just keep settling on others. I'm giving five stars because the staff is so nice there and the library is well-maintained, but whoever is responsible for their funding and or book selection makes me want to give four stars.

Open 7 days/week. Part of the SDCL library system. Lot of smokers linger and puff puff puff non-stop. That's pretty gross. WiFi is stable, cell coverage is non existent. I've only been here a few times, so jury is still out on my final determination. XD

Whether you need help with your research (see a librarian), help with writing a paper (see the writing center), help with your math homework (see the math learning center), or help with any other class (see the tutoring and academic support center), you can WALK RIGHT IN and get HELP!!!!! Between the 2 floors of the fairly new building are hundreds of computers including giant iMacs!!!! The computers are loaded with so much software, it's no wonder they don't EXPLODE! Seriously, they have the Adobe CS5 software on every single computer. Tell me what other college around hooks you up like that!!!!

They have a very nice theater with movies every week and they have live music events. They do a great job offering programs for the community. There is also a nice patio area to sit and read. I believe it is also used for some of their events.

It gets crowded inside and in the parking lot which speaks to the community recognizing the library's value. They also have a large children's section, clean restrooms and free unsecure WiFi.

The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because their front office staff double booked my room, making me wait an extra 20 minutes which was understandable I suppose, but when I asked to put my cell phone out by the front desk to send an important video on my phone as their rooms sometimes block the signal. I was told "i cannot watch your device". SMH. Bad enough you double booked my room, the least you could do is let me put my device down for 2 minutes to send an important video! wow. Learn to think outside the box! Color outside the lines--it makes more money and more innovation. Be flexible folks. Especially when you inconvenienced me.

It's nice to have a library close to home. They offer many programs for kids, including story time…read more They having plenty of seating options and computers as well. The children's section is located off to corner. Plenty of books available and a small section for entertainment and 3 computer stations with learning games. What is nice is that they have a restroom in this spot so you don't have to run across the library in case of a child's bathroom needs. They have a couple of event rooms, occasionally used by the Red Cross for scheduled Blood Donation. Restrooms are conveniently located across the event rooms. The restroom is very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The only downfall is the parking. The upper level of the parking lot is very tight even for smaller vehicles. There is overflow parking at the lower level, and some street parking. I'll keep visiting this convenient library.

They remodeled the reference desk and moved it to a different spot. It looks so modern now! I think the rest of the project was behind the scenes because everything else looks the same.
