Was looking for a store that sold actual cards and when I Google it I got a bunch of stores that…read morehad magic cards, baseball cards, various trading cards but very few actual cards. Then I saw mail-it unlimited. I knew roughly where it was located but the website didn't say much about what to expect. Wow this looks like a tiny store from the parking lot but once inside it's pretty big and they have so much stuff. By the time I got to the center where the register was I had seen dozens of things I'd like to get, but I was here for a sympathy card and a gift and I was definitely out of my comfort zone. So I asked one of the associates where to find the sympathy section and what would be a appropriate gift. He showed me where the card section was and an area where I could find the gift. I found so many beautiful and thoughtful cards that fit and I finally narrowed it down to one. Next I headed to the gift area and there were so many beautiful choices, but within a few steps I was looking at the various figurines (Willow Tree) and they were so well crafted and I found the sympathy one. It's about 9 inches tall with a dove on the arm, I was expecting a big price tag but it was alot less than I expected. Check out was quick, the staff checked the figurine to make sure it was perfect and boxed it up and back to the jeep I went. Here I had to sign and address everything and then run back in. Not only do they sell some beautiful and sentimental items but they will ship them out for you to. Honestly it was the best stop all around for me Without missing a beat the staff spotted a error in the zip code. We all know during stressful times we can make errors but thankfully they caught it and fixed it and our stuff was shipped out and should be arriving by tomorrow night. Had they not caught the error our package could have wound up taking days to arrive at the correct destination. We have the tracking numbers and we will know when it's arrived. I know I'll be going back because they have so many different things that I'd love to wander around and find some nice stuff for our house. Unfortunately, their poor customer service makes working with Gus & Ruby Letterpress frustrating and disappointing. We worked with Gus & Ruby Letterpress to create an invitation suite and day-of stationery for a formal wedding in Boston. It started out great with an initial meeting in the store. We looked through samples, felt the quality of the paper, and left with exciting ideas for the invitations. Little did we know this would be our last in person meeting, and that even reaching a live person on the phone would be extremely difficult as we moved forward. After our first meeting we submitted ideas and details for the first draft of the wedding suite. Then we waited 14 business days for a first proof. The proof was completely off the mark. The designers at Gus & Ruby Letterpress did not seem to read what we had asked for. For example, one envelope liner option contained fall-colored abstract daisies for a spring formal wedding. We tried to convey our ideas as clearly as possible but the communication channel from us, to our salesperson, to the design team, played out like a game of telephone with a tin can and a string. The message did not get through. After several weeks of revisions, we eventually arrived at a beautiful invitation suite that fit our vision. If communication had been better, we would have reached the final product a lot sooner. During this whole process we never felt like we were a priority, a valued customer, and we often felt dismissed. We continued to work with Gus & Ruby Letterpress for our day-of stationery because there was not time to search out a new stationer and because their products are high-quality. However, it was frustrating to only communicate through email. Our concerns never seemed to be acknowledged by our salesperson. No human ever answered the phone at Gus & Ruby Letterpress. Our overall experience with Gus & Ruby Letterpress fell far short of what we expected from a high-end, custom stationer. I cannot recommend them.
