One of the nice features they don't talk about a lot, but you can take a whole page of photos in this scrapbook for example four photos at one time and then they will not only enhance or fix up the photos. They also separate each photo into a separate image file all cropped and as neat as can be that saves me a lot of time. read more

They have recently updated their film developing equipment. I didn't expect a difference but I am impressed and happy.

I came to photosmith for about a year to get my film developed while going to school in the surrounding area. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and my film was developed usually in 24 hours (which is incredible!). I miss this place now that I am back home! read more

I joined yelp after resisting for a long time because I wanted to praise these guys for their amazing service, and super quick turnaround. It is a giant pain to develop 120 film these days, and I sent rolls out to all the places nearby that I could find, to figure out who I would be using in the future. I found photosmith through a google search, sent the mailer out, and bam, had my rolls back to me in less than a week. The shipping was free, the developing was cheap, and he sent everything back with a nice handwritten card thanking me for my business. I am still waiting for all my other film from the other services I used, and some of the other mailers I ordered from a different company have not even arrived so I could send the rolls out yet. Long story short, they are really quick, and actually seem to care about personal service. Which is rare. read more

I can't praise our Dover Photo Smith highly enough. The quality of their imaging is perfect, and they don't have any problem with unusual requests. Their staff is always friendly and well versed in all methods that can be used to correct a photo that has not aged well or just has staining that affects the entire photo. Mr. Frank, I would like to bring to your attention our experience with one of your employees who is presently employed at and by your company. In today's environment, when people do their jobs, sometimes without much care or the ability to really want to take the time to be informed, possibly due to the fact that repetition overtakes their everyday mundane routine, you have the everyday boring worker that deals with your customers. These are the individuals that present the last picture of your company and are usually the last persons that can "make or break a sale". I would like to thank you for the time that you took to train and inform Ms. Jennifer, as your Represenitive. She is what I as a company owner would love to have representing me and my company. I cannot tell you how she took the time to explain the process of printing 31mm negative slides to positive prints. The pricing schedule, how payment is made, always with that friendly, warm smile in her voice, and probably a "song in her heart". My wife and I asked so many questions, how, why, howcome's, what if's, and there she was, always with the answers. We became the best of telephone friends and it was such a pleasure to get to know her, laugh with her and finally know that we were assured that our memories from years ago were safe and secure. I had several old reels of movies, no idea what I had or was talking about, and asked for them to be transferred to DVD. Steve was so prompt answering all my initial inquiries, gave me a quote and then beat the quote. My husband and his brothers now have family movies to show my aging mother in law hoping to spark some laughs from her and it's all thanks to Photosmith. First experience developing film and couldn't have been better! Came in to the shop with my first two rolls of 35mm film (one shot on the entirely wrong ISO setting which needed special attention) even though I was flying back to school in Europe the next day and the woman who helped me was incredibly accommodating. Had my photos developed, scanned, and uploaded to their online database within two days and all came out wonderfully. They arranged to send my negatives to my home in the states and to let me pay through pay pal once everything was finished. Highly recommend :) read more
