St Johns Endodontics

just now New I have…read morehad fantastic experiences with Dr Currie over the last two years since moving to Ponte Vedra Beach. I have needed two root canals and had symptoms for another that Dr Currie diagnosed as something else. He was right and I did not need a root canal on that tooth. He and the whole staff at St. Johns Endodontics have been 100% kind, careful, caring and super competent! By far the best people I have ever had work in my mouth! I am 66 and retired after running a very large business that was focused on customer service across 2000 employees so I know what I'm talking about when I see great customer service like I've experienced with Dr Currie and St. Johns Endodontics!! And the building is beautiful inside with indirect lighting - great music - and wonderful art including some calming art on the monitors above your head while having a procedure done - first class all the way! I can't imagine going anywhere else for a consultation about a root canal

I'm sure St Johns Endodontics do great root canals however when I called for an appointment, I had…read morealready had a CT scan and new x-rays and pan done the week before. The woman I spoke with insisted that it is their protocol to have a new CT scan done in new x-rays. You've got to be kidding me! In what world is that necessary? These new CT scan machines are the cats meow to the company that designed them and sells them and the doctors that buy them pay a pretty penny for him so I'm sure they want to pay for them. But not on me thank you very much that increased risk and unnecessary need. I'm kind of glad it went that way because I disagreed with getting two more root canals and all the expense that was going to go into my mouth when it made more sense to do two extractions and one bone graph and implant for the same price of a bunch of nonsense that would've hurt me in the long run. Every tooth I have ever lost came from having a root canal that weakened the tooth and ultimately required it to be extracted. Root canals are bad for you. Avoid them at every cost. I worked 20 years in the Dental field, and it was quite a while ago, but root canals are still done the same way, the risks are still the same. A lot of them are unnecessary and that hasn't changed either. Good luck to all of you but look at more updated repairs to your mouth.

I would like to share my experience with Dr.Shanta Singh to prevent others from making the same…read moremistake I did.I chose her because the clinic was close to home also not bad reviews on Google . The dentist was extremely rude, unprofessional and showing no care or respect for patients . The quality of her work was very poor and I have never had such a negative experience in my entire life - even after living both in Europe and Chicago . I left her office feeling humiliated and disrespected . What should have been 5 visits turned into 17 filled with pain , stress and frustration. Because of her negligence I had to seek treatments from a root canal specialist and another dantist. This ordeal has now 4 months involved three different specialist and cost me 3 times what I originally expected .I would give her 0 stars if the system allowed it. Please don't make the same mistake as I did.

After numerous phone calls, In December they admitted to having it but said the lab had broken it. Today they finally gave her partial back supposedly fixed. She just called me crying saying over and over they hurt me. She states the partial does not fit right. The office staff and Dr. Singh do not call you back. We had left several messages over the last 3 months with no response. I would give them no starts and never recommend them.
