This is the nicest park with great amenities, great management and wonderful campers! Now, we all know that there will be a bad apple in every bunch and we all know that changes are made every year. It's those changes that seem to rile people up. If you come with goodness in your heart and abide by the rules, usually you will not have a problem. This is not a party life RV park, this is a family oriented park. Please try us out, look at the RV'S and Park Models we have for sale and then look at the hugh expansion we have just recently finished. What a wonderful place to be!!

We met tons of friends, enjoyed the 4th of July events, and loved the beautiful area. For future campers, Purple sites were great - right across from the bath house and each had a picnic table. Only downside was that they didn't have a fire ring, but it was too hot for a fire anyway! The Bath camping spots across from us did have fire rings. Everyone we met from employees to other guests were fabulous and made our experience amazing. Can't say enough good things.

It seems that the owners of this place has done what North Carolina has become so famous for. It's called the nickel and dime shuffle. Plan on being charged a service fee when you get here. 10.00 processing fee for most transactions you make. You would think that with all the extra fees they charge your site wouldn't flood, one heavy rain and you'er are in a Sneads Ferry lake. On to the three stars. The site isn't secured. people drive through the camp ground all night long. the Boat ramp is suppose to be private but it's not. Charter boat captains use and abuse the boat ramp at an astonishing rate. On Holidays locals use the( AKA Private) boat ramp which means they come through the camp ground. The Air B&B is another practice some were uncomfortable with. Temporary people passing in an out of the area on a nightly bases is unsettling. I under stand this is a camp ground a transient place, but its not secure and anyone can come in an out of the area at any time of the night.

Amanda was so incredibly sweet every time we talked to her. They have light but sturdy picnic tables at each lot that you can easily move around as needed and the same with the fire/grill rings. We cooked steaks on the grill ring and they turned out great. We loved meeting people inside the dog-park as well. Lots of really cool dogs get in there and run and play. We'll definitely be back.

We checked in and we're told that the pool will only be open this week until 4:30 everyday (lucky us). The lady was stuttering on her words trying to lie. and said they didn't have enough space for a big dog like him.i told them they didn't need it because he will always be inside with us and only taken on leash walks. They proceed to tell me they didn't have space because they like to give enough space to set up a pen area if people wanted for their dogs. They said they would only have enough space for a Chihuahua. I know this is a lie, their website states they have "spacious lots that can fit the trailer, a vehicle, and a boat." I know what y'all did, discriminating against my service dog! It won't be me but I am telling you one day someone WILL sue y'all for doing this if y'all keep it up! This place is a joke!!! No where do I see pens set up on any of the photos on the website. LIARS!

Nice setting and nice people. stayed 2 weeks on the water .. beautiful. A couple of complaints…read morethough. First, the had us in a parking lot. Nice of them to let us move to a regular site. When we realized we needed another night, I went to office to see if we could rent 1 more night. I was told no our spot was rented to a long term camper. We left. Found out that no one moved onto our spot. Seems like no one knows what is rented or not. we were told everything was rented near us except for spot that flooded when it rained. We took that. It didn't flood. Spot next to us did. Also, no one camped on 5 spots next to us except for1 camped 4 days and 2 camped 1 day. they really need better organization
