The campground was very meh. Nothing special about it. Nothing bad about it. Plenty of space between campsites campsite surface was gravel. Campsite was long enough to accommodate the RV and the tow vehicle. It was a back in space. The dock area was excellent and beautiful especially if you're a fisherman. First time here with our RV. The space they put us in was without trees and was littered with the last camper dog's feces. That we could live with but out and out lying is something else. We checked in and we're told that the pool will only be open this week until 4:30 everyday (lucky us). So we hurry up and get on our swimsuits and go to the pool at 3:30pm. it Is hotter than the sun here and Lo and behold, the pool is locked up tight. call the office and they tell us "oh we are sorry, yeah he had to leave even earlier than expected." bad customer service. read more

I've been an annual tenant for 7 years, but pulling out. Services have decreased: no more TV cable at campsite, pool is now open ONLY Memorial Day thru Labor Day (was early April thru early October,) boat lot rent was $10/month but has gone up more than 400%) AND rent has gone up more than 44%. read more

I've had my site a few years now and I've seen management changes but each had attempted to build the park up more and more. great intercostal waterway access and beautiful pier along with brand new kids play area and new washers and dryers. in addition to the pool which is well maintained. maintenance staff are amazing and always working to keep the park updated and clean. the pricing is good compared to amenities available plus only miles from topsail beach access... can't say enough about familt atmosphere. read more

I can clearly see this park is having a hard time accepting true negative reviews. Blame management for that. If Sandy can't manage what goes on in the park, and consistently has anger outbursts how can a business survive after so many times. To the person who claims someone is making up fake reviews? Who are you refering to? FYI I've had this account for 8 YEARS! . I saw another negative review from someone else are they fake too? My reputation on yelp is excellent. But umm why is your account new with NO reviews at all? Must be from Turkey Point where all the drama is, no thanks. My character is to typically ignore people who cause problems like this. All you can really do is feel sorry that their lives revolve so much about he said, she said, sandbox nonescense. Good riddens There was nothing relaxing about this place. The worst is the management is just as involved if not worse. I'll keep things to a minimal and not even get into the more serious issues at the park because I'd be writing for days. Sandy the manager has major anger and control power trip issues. She has zero tolerance and can go from 1-10 in .1 second. It's not a place I'd advise what so ever. We're so happy now. It's Peaceful, and the management is kind and has excellent people skills. Business owners: It's not just about the money that comes in from time to time. If you hire a controled, kind, calm manager who honest & not deceptive I'll betcha you won't be having bad reviews. I've never seen so many fake people in my life. Inwishbthem all well. This park looks like a nice place to stay but we couldn't justify the $700 a month price. Seems VERY expensive for this area. Might as well buy a house and pay a mortgage. read more

We have been here about a month now and have one more week to go. Our check in was uneventful, I wish I new the gal's name, but she was very friendly and helpful and has been the same ever time I go in her office. The Clubhouse is clean and the "only" place to get any kind of WIFI in the park. I have Verizon and the service in this park is abysmal at best, poor, nada. Even sending a text at times take a bit. Provided cable is of good quality, don't have a t.v. guide and tried to download one from the internet, (ha, fat chance on that.) Nice big spaces, more room than most parks. We have wonderful neighbors, matter of fact, have not met one not nice person in the park yet. Dogs do have to be on a lease but they do provide a good size pet run. This park is geared more to the full timer and park models, but everyone keeps their property very neat. Laundry rooms and restrooms are very well kept. It's close to the water and has a very nice dock for fishing or just looking at the sunset. The pool is great for the family although I have been in it yet. My only compaint is for the grounds keeper (the mowers.): I would expect that they should put deflectors on the mowers, but they don't. And they seem to point the mower blower at my campers and others and blow grass and rocks all over the camper, your rugs and chairs. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. After they come by and mow (which seems like twice a week.) You have to spend time cleaning all your stuff off. On day, there will be a pricy motorhome in here and one of those mowers is going to throw a rock at it, then that will cost the park a lot, then they might require the mowers to install deflectors on the mowers. Oh one more as I said above, if you want WIFI you must go to the clubhouse, my verizon just won't work here and for that I can't see myself coming back. read more

Have been here a couple of months. Will be staying 4 more. Everything is clean and the people are all nice and friendly. Seems like mostly families. They have pot luck dinners, Wifi at club house, good pool, large dog run, playground, large dock, nice laundry facilities, bath house, and trash facilities. Campsites are large with water, cable, sewer included. Have to pay for electric separate if you are on a yearly or 6 month lease. They have a lending library with books and CDs. No problems. Reasonable rates. Close to grocery store, shopping, churches, and restaurants. read more

I have NEVER encountered a manager of any establishment that is allowed to be obnoxious, rude, loud and engage in getting in people's faces as well as drinking with the people in this campground. I CANNOT believe the owner's are not aware of this behavior and if they are shame on them. Good luck if you go to stay there. read more

The place is clean and quiet very very peaceful. Of course we came here on a Monday and are leaving Thursday morning. Everyone so far has been very very friendly. We actually won two free nights stay here and liked it so much we decided to stay another night and pay for it. We never encountered the angry person Sandy that everybody complained about however we did speak to her on the phone when making a reservation and she was super nice and friendly. Even though we have a large RV we did get to go in the bath houses and they are exceptional no group showers you get your very own bathroom. Not a whole lot of amenities but the dock is really nice and you can fish there or catch some shrimp or just sit out there and have a cuppa coffee and enjoy life in the peace and quiet. I gave it four stars for overall pleasant and relaxing stay however it would really be three stars if you were here for amenity and things to do, it is their second year and they're adding things all the time definitely worth giving it a shot. They don't have Wi-Fi at the campsite yet and the cable is kind of fuzzy but the sites are very large you have your own fire pit however there is no picnic tables. Originally this place is geared for the full-timers looking for a place to go to every weekend or even live here in the peace and quiet. Check in was really easy no hassle, they had me go pick my site and then I could pay for my extra day whenever I felt like it no pressure very different than many places. read more

A great RV community right on the water. The lots are spacious and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the amenities are excellent. You couldn't ask for a better place to spend a week or a month or longer. read more
