Dr. Isadore is the most compassionate and educative doctor I have experienced. Instead of having staff complete all the preliminary work ups and not meeting the doctor until the date of the procedure (as is the case with most doctors today), Dr. Isadore greets you at your first visit, explains the ultrasound process describing what he sees as he proceeds and is open to any questions. He prepares you for what to expect at each procedure and even lets you watch if you so desire. Nothing was painful. The worst part was administration of lidocaine and a few injections for removal of spider veins...but thatlasteonly a few seconds. He constantly asks how you are doing. Sue, the office administrator, is so friendly and welcoming. I am so glad a friend recommended him. I cannot believe I waited so long. I had been debating taking care of my varicose veins for 10+ years. Sue picked up the phone and very unfriendly and seems like she doesn't want to do any business. I am grateful I went here. After a few months of pain in my legs I went, despite all the Covid-19 issues. I am pleased to report this is the cleanest, most sterile, and best place you can go. Pretty sure an operating room isn't cleaner. The staff is so kind, the Doctor is amazing, and the pain in my legs is gone. I have to admit, the veins were there for a long time, and I'm kind of a looks minimalist. I'd have not cared - I would never have gone if pain had not manifested, but it did. I was looking for a vein specialist in North County for varicose vein treatment and I found Dr. Isadore thru Yelp. I have been impressed thru the whole process of setting up my initial consultation to the different procedures I have had, to the follow-up visits to make sure all the treatments were successful. Any procedure that involves fixing something that isn't working correctly in the body can be so unpleasant but Dr. Isadore was so knowledgeable and patient and kind with all my questions both before and during my procedures. I tend to talk too much when I get nervous. The office is beautiful and spotless. Dr. Isadore's assistant Kylee is a gem. She is absolutely wonderful and it is so nice to walk into an office and feel welcome. I had a lot of leg pain and while I knew some of it had to do with one particular vein, I had attributed the majority of my leg pain to my wonky arthritic knees. I still have knee issues but now my leg pain is so much better. I had no idea that my circulation was as bad as it was. Now on to find the perfect knee specialist....lol. Parking is not on El Camino Real. My Waze app was not helpful. It kept telling me I had reached my destination and then tried to get me to turn around when I drove to the back of the buildings. The street on the backside of the building is where the parking structure is underneath with an elevator to go up or you can park on the street. Office is easy to get to with reserved covered parking in the parking garage and a few steps from the elevator. Very clean office with a great view. Waiting time is nothing I didn't even sit down before being taken back. I have had a few treatments as at my age and during Covid I was sitting around. I have had other treatments at other offices before I moved here. I actually have been maintaining my legs since the late 1990's so I have experiences to compare to. Dr. Isadore is very polite and explains the procedure thoroughly. The staff is friendly and the office is exceptionally clean. The price is also very reasonable, I am happy I found them as due to my genetics I will probably always have to maintain my legs. For now I have my summer beach legs and am good to go! I had a series of 3 treatments, which greatly improved the appearance of my spider veins. Months after my final treatment I noticed some reoccurrence of veins in the treated areas. I was concerned and reached out to the office. I was offered a complimentary treatment to resolve the reoccurrence. Unfortunately COVID happened, so I was unable to book the appointment for a long time. During that time I began experiencing restless leg and swelling, so I reached out to the office to see if I could be evaluated for varicose veins. I have insurance (HMO) and the office manager recommended that I go to my primary care provider to see if I could get a referral to a vascular surgeon in-network to evaluate my leg issues. I was blown away by the honesty and integrity of this establishment. Instead of taking advantage of someone inquiring about a service they could provide they instead steered me to using my insurance! I was able to get a referral and take care of my varicose veins using insurance (with a different vascular surgeon). I am going back to Oceana Vein Specialists to tackle my remaining spider veins now that the feeder veins have been dealt with. I can confidently recommend Dr. Isadore and his staff.
