recently visited this shop with a cage to transport hermit crabs , we bought 3 baby ones and 4 smaller ones , we were told we had to buy another cage which is crazy. explained we have a huge cage at home and was using the little to transport only , they refused to sell the hermit crabs to us without the new cage. horrible service. this was the only place we saw the tiny baby ones for sale. we will never use this establishment again. It's a shame the employee did this in front my child which already had her mind set on the very tiny babies Otherwise I would. Have gone to another store . read more

Ocean City boardwalk has all kinds of stores. Some of them are like shopping at a mall. There also one of a kind stores of all kinds. But there are also typical T shirt and boardwalk stores that sell T- shirts, swim suits, cover ups , boogie boards, sand buckets and toys for children, surf boards, and beach supplies. We usually go to OC at the end of the season when things are on sale. T Shirts are now 14.00 at the end of the season they will be 5.00 but in my condition I can't too soon go back so I had to get T shirts having not packed enough because I usually pack too much. I never get it right! Anyway this store has a lot of cute stuff and my favorites were the Big Bang Theory T Shirts with funny quotes from the TV show. I was able to purchase some sparkly red white and blue T-shirts for July 4th! read more

I bought a sweat shirt at the end of the night from this store. They even charged .25 for one of their cheap dark blue recycled material bags. This bag was defective because the next night I pulled the sweat shirt out of the bag out to wear and the bag smeared off on to the sweat shirt and stained it. I went back to the store and cashier told my husband she is the manager but told me she is the owner. She was extremely rude and condescending. Said the wouldn't do anything because they didn't do that to the shirt but I stated their horrible bag that they sold did. She was very smug and accused me of doing it myself. I said I'll never shop here again and will tell friends & family as we are here every summer and she said that's fine and starting laughing. I would give this place zero stars and highly don't recommend this place, you'll be disappointed. Plenty of other stores on the boardwalk where Customer Service is way better than this place and better quality merchandise than this place. read more

I was belittled by the cashier in front of many customers. I talked to the manager whom, unbelievably, did the same thing, then the manager and cashier turned to each other and laughed in my face. I asked to talk to the owner whom is an 85 year old woman and she did the same. It was humiliating in front of a dozen customers, whom spoke up to the owner about how rude she was to me. I wish I could start a boycott of this business. And judging by the other comments on here, this is how they treat their customers on a regular basis. Give your money to one of the numerous other shops that deserve it. This is talking about ocean treasures 964 and 966 on the boardwalk of Ocean City NJ. Summer 2019. read more

Absolute worst place on the boardwalk luv. The amount of problems Denise has given people. I witnessed Denise call a child an embarrassment and believe me RACE WAS INVOLVED!!! When speaking to other customers about the situation they explained that she's always been a ill-tempered croaker who loves to make a mug of young teens trying to enjoy the boardwalk. I love this store! It has amazing collections of shore and general items. Some sweet, some funny, some beautiful, some useful, everything in the store is worth seeing! While decorating our shore house, we looked high and low to find just the right decorations, and finally found just what we needed in Ocean Treasures! Great store! read more

This store has a bad combination of poor quality merchandise and an attitude problem. I purchased a wall hanging, walked out onto the boardwalk about a block and it fell apart in my hands. I immediately returned to the store and requested a refund. They obviously didn't believe what happened and refused the refund. The piece was made of 3 wooden slats held together on the back by cheap paperboard so it was no surprise that is broke simply by holding it. Buyer beware. read more
