Walking along the boardwalk and eating popcorn or sitting on a bench watching the ocean while snacking on popcorn is my idea of a relaxing day. We bought the butter flavored popcorn but the caramel popcorn is what they are known for. The butter flavored popcorn that we had tasted burnt. It's still edible and buttery so I'm not sure if that is just part of their flavor. If you get something here, go for the caramel popcorn.

While on a walk on the boardwalk, came across Johnson's popcorn. Couldn't resist the urge to get the bucket I had been seeing during my childhood years. It is the best! I got the mix of cheese and caramel and enjoy ever kernel of it. I was not too impressed with the staff thou. They seemed very robotic and rushed, even when there was not much going on during a midday Tuesday in November. However, I can say, you need to try this popcorn when around the boardwalk.

So all week this place was poppin' at night! Like line and big bags of of over flowing popcorn everywhere. I knew I had to try it out. Line was short when I arrived and I was able to watch them making the popcorn in large kettles in the back of the store front. I saw the popcorn being cooked, brown sugar being mixed and the smell was heavenly. Service was quick and I ordered a medium cheddar and caramel Open (which just means the popcorn is overflowing out and in the bag) The cheddar was on point a lovely velvet texture, salty, and just cheese bliss! The caramel was sweet but a little more like toffee and less like caramel. Is it tasty, yes. Is it a great snack to munch on while beaching, yes. But I've had better!

A must visit when you are at the boardwalk. My favorite s Chicago style, which is a mix of cheddar and caramel. Perfect combination of sweet and salty. Very addicting. The caramel is not super sweet They will ask if you want it close or open. Open gives you more because the popcorn overflows your bucket and it's in a plastic bag. It's cheaper when you bring your own bucket.

Who are you kidding? You know two-gallon tubs are the only way to eat sugar-covered popcorn on the beach! And even if you aren't at the beach, every receptionist in the tristate area has probably seen tubs of Johnson's come for some recipients. The famous kernels come plain, in peanut crunch or caramel. The tins are cute keepsakes for kids toys, or just for your throw up after you eat the whole thing single-handedly.

The best popcorn in New Jersey!

The best popcorn in New Jersey ! My family and I always get the Carmel popcorn. It's served in a bucket in a bag and the bucket is overfilled with popcorn! Big servings! Great prices ! Popcorn is served warm. We love the popcorn clusters in the bucket. They have lots of sizes you can get . You should def get the popcorn put it bag. More bang for your buck! We will continue to visit this small but yummy popcorn shop!

We grabbed a small bag (and a tub to take home) of their caramel corn and it was exactly what you'd hope for.

We sampled a variety of freshly made fudges including sea salt caramel, vanilla, Oreo, and mint…read more The fudge here is softer and pan-prepared, which is quite different from the loaf-style Mackinac Island fudge I'm used to (my personal gold standard). That said, it was still delicious, and the flavor selection made for a fun tasting experience. The sea salt caramel was probably the standout for me. The shop itself has that pure Ocean City boardwalk charm, an old-school candy store with a wide range of sweets, some clearly made in-house, alongside nostalgic classic candies. It's the kind of place where you just want to linger and explore. Staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming. We were with our oldest, just browsing and tasting together, and it made for a memorable little stop. Highly recommend. This is a must-hit for anyone walking the boards in OC. I'll definitely go back.

Okay, so this is saying a lot coming from me . . . I am an Ocean City girl through and through!…read more Been coming here since I was literally age 5 with my very beloved, departed grandparents (God rest their souls). I felt like getting away last night, so my son and I took the almost hour ride to OC. There were literally only four stores on the boardwalk open! Fudge Kitchen was one of them :) We had a fun time perusing the store. The one male employee there was super nice. I got some (wowee fresh!) Swedish fish; my son, cashew bark (thickest I've ever seen) and we got some Macaroons for my daughter who stayed back. Although I felt like I was "cheating" on Shriver's (a family tradition that started with my aforementioned grandparents), I must say that everything we had was yummy, plus the store was very clean and organized.
