I stumbled upon Absolutely Outer Banks a handful of years ago and I was impressed with the selection of locally made arts and crafts. Ever since, this is my go to spot for legitimate and tasteful Outer Banks souvenirs. In addition to locally made items they also have some vintage items and even some new items for sale. One item that this store specializes in is really cool resin windows that are unique and exude happiness. Absolutely Outer Banks has artwork in all mediums and in all price points. They have jewelry, wood signs, candles, prints, glass work, textiles, metal work, etc.  On my most recent visit I enjoyed looking at a vintage pin ball machine and eyeing up the beautiful array of Fiestaware. There is plenty of opportunity for ooohhhing and ahhhing.  The owner is super friendly so that adds to the overall great experience. I also enjoyed the current exhibition of student artwork. Besides the art gallery on the first floor, there is a performing arts center upstairs. They had some really nice hardwood wall wine racks too - so simple in design yet very elegant. I always love coming into this gallery when I have the opportunity to visit Duck not only to browse the many unique items they carry, but also for the friendly service and because those soaps make the shop smell so good!
