Everything was AMAZING!! Meatball is the BEST! He took us to the most beautiful locations. Let us take our time. So much knowledge about the islands. He answered every question. Hilarious as well!! I honestly can't say which beach we liked better out of the 3 he took us to. Definitely wish we did a full day trip instead of a half a day, but we will come back! We wish he could have been our tour guide the entire time we were here. #governormeatball
Such a fun snorkeling trip. 2 amazing stops to snorkel, pizza delivery, dance party, and beautiful sunset! They picked us up on John Island (most people got on at St Thomas). We saw turtles, sting ray, manta ray, tarpon, and mutton. It was the best thing we did all vacation, 10/10 highly recommend!!!
John & Andy were high energy, fun, and engaging the entire trip. We were hoping to see more turtles but John was able to point 2 out and a lot more marine life which was great! Drinks at the end were good, but if you're looking to drink throughout the trip this may not be the tour for you. I personally didn't mind since I didn't want to be drunk in the water but to each their own
My family went on the snorkeling pizza sunset cruise. It was recommended by a local and we are soooo happy we listened. CJ, Darien, and John were responsible yet fun and entertaining! Our trip was filled with seeing an array of sea life, a boat pizza delivery, a beautiful sunset and dancing until we docked . My kids had a great time. Our son was given an honorary 4th mate award for his dancing and finding 2 spotted Eagle Ray! I was nervous about my 8 year old going snorkeling but he did great!!! This was a unique experience and worth the money!
What amazing experience. Reasonably priced, booked everything online. You arrive 15 minutes early to check in at their retail shop. Parking is always a challenge in St. Thomas we were fortunate to park at the parking structure across the street. We were greeted by Jamie who was the host for the adventure. She was very nice and friendly the whole trip. Drinks and snacks are included, also after you are done snorkeling alcoholic beverages are available. Our pilot Andy was extremely professional and knowledgeable, as a boat pilot myself whe chatted about the vessel. Which was immaculate and well maintained which put my mind at ease. We went to two locations to snorkel, first was Maho Bay, St. John where we saw several sea turtles which was amazing. Then we went to St. James which is a private island and the reef there was incredible with tons of marine life and we also saw more turtles. They provide the snorkels, masks, fins and a flotation device FYI, we brought our own. The overall experience was amazing I would recommend if you are either vacationing on St. Thomas or St. John. Both Jamie and Andy were excellent hosts every step of the way.
We went out today with CJ and Ren and they were amazing. The trip was amazing. We did see Sea Turtles at both locations Caneel Bay and Christmas Cove at Little St. James. We did not see them while snorkeling, although others on the boat did! I was sea turtle hunting and swam pretty close up on a ~4 ft barracuda in all his glory, lol. The Pizza Pi at Little St. James is made on a boat and delivered by dinghy. Sunset did not disappoint and the drinks were flowing. This is a must! Thank you CJ and Ren!! Until next time
I took the "Do It All Trip: Snorkel, Pizza & Sunset Cruise" tour on February 1, 2024. I paid $104. Before I signed up for the tour at their retail store in Cruz Bay, I asked if they had vegan option for pizza. Both of their staffs who were there then said yes. I asked again when I checked in on the day of cruise, and the staff at the retail store (different person than the two I had spoken with) said yes. But there was no vegan pizza. All pizzas had cheese on them. The captain offered me salad as an alternative, which wasn't an acceptable alternative to pizza in my book. After two snorkeling, I was rather cold and wanted to have something warm. I stayed hungry until we finally came back to Cruz Bay. I asked for a $25 refund for the misinformation and inconvenience I suffered, and they promptly refunded me with an apology, which was nice. In terms of snorkeling locations, since this was a boat tour, I automatically assumed that both locations were somewhere offshore only reachable by a boat. But I was rather disappointed to discover that one of them was Maho Bay which was easily accessible by a car. Since I was staying on St John for a week with a rental car, I had been there multiple times. There was no point for me to pay for a boat ride there. The snorkeling spot was right by the beach where I had been. I wish they gave me a warning when I signed up at Cruz Bay. The other snorkeling location Great St James island was new to me, and I enjoyed seeing many corals and fish there. The captain and crew were professional and cheerful. Overall, I would have enjoyed this tour thoroughly if I wasn't staying on St John, and if I didn't have dietary restrictions.
What a fun evening excursion! First mates Jake, Sierra and Chris were awesome hosts, who kept the energy alive with music, dance and jokes. We enjoyed two snorkeling spots off St John, where I was able to spot several starfish, stingrays, a spotted eagle ray, trunkfish, turtles, giant conch, sand worms and other assorted fish. Sierra and Chris were generous with the drink, and we were provided snacks throughout the afternoon. We stopped at Christmas Cove, where we ate pizza from the famous Pizza Pi boat. We stopped for sunset photos and a celebration, including a conga line. The price is quite reasonable for everything you get in this 6-hour trip. Stop thinking and just book this trip - you will not regret!

When I saw the boat and felt the energy of the awesome crew, I knew we were in good hands! We had a blast and went to two great snorkel spots. Christmas Cove was our favorite. Super clear water and we were blessed to see two dolphins swimming at the bottom! The pizza was great, the music was great and the cocktails were the best! I mean who doesn't love a Painkiller and a free for all ice chest with unlimited beer! 10/10 recommend!
Had a great time on the Reef Surfari for the snorkeling, pizza, and sunset cruise on 7/29/24. First, the price was very reasonable for a 5.5 hour excursion. The captain and deck hands were very personable and knowledgeable about the marine life that we were seeing. At the first stop, deckhand John got in the water with us at Maho Bay to help us to locate sea turtles and to answer questions that people had. At both snorkel stops, captain Andy gave us great advice on where to snorkel I'd we wanted to see fish, coral, turtles, or a sunken sailboat. They were also great about educating the group on what was proper protocol for interacting with the animals in an effort to ensure that we did not harm the ecosystem. After stop 2 at Christmas Cove, pizza was delivered from Pizza Pi and the bar was open! Pretty good painkillers and rum punch plus a selection of domestic and local beers and a hard seltzer option. After dinner, we were taken to a spot to watch the sunset over St. Thomas. Tunes were blasting, some people floated in the bay on pool noodles, but everyone was having a great time. On the boat trip to drop off guests at St. John and the return trip to Red Hook, the dance party was in full effect! I've done a number of these types of trips over the years on different Caribbean islands, but this was truly one of the best I've ever experienced and several other patrons were saying the same thing. If you are staying on St. John or St. Thomas, want to do some snorkeling, and like a good party, book this trip. You won't regret it!

We had a total blast on this snorkeling tour with John and Captain CJ. It was just the right amount of people and the crew was really fun. You get to snorkel two calm areas and see all sorts of fish, eels, turtles and if you're lucky, some rays. It literally monsooned rain towards the end but the crew kept everyone laughing. We swam in the pouring rain and got to see a ship wreck. The floating Pizza Pi boat delivered our pizzas which was very fun. The pizza was tasty and warm. We had an open bar after diving to enjoy fruity drinks, seltzers or beers. It's a very fun day and totally worth $99. Make sure you tip your crew. read more

We had the absolute BEST experience with Jeep Surfari in St. Thomas! This was our first excursion we've ever booked outside of the cruise ship, and it exceeded every expectation. Ask for Meatball-- he was our personal Jeep guide and was absolutely AMAZING. He truly went over and beyond for us. He had cold drinks ready, beach chairs , and made sure we were completely taken care of the entire time. Not only was he fun and personable, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history and culture. We learned so much while still having a relaxing, unforgettable day. As cruise passengers, we were a little nervous booking independently, but he was very attentive to our ship time and made sure we were back with plenty of time -- zero stress! Booking was easy, and communication throughout the entire process was excellent. My advice: Book early Ask for Meatball Bring cash -- because you are absolutely going to want to tip him well after the amazing tour you'll get! Hands down one of the best excursions we've ever done! read more

The highlight of our trip was the snorkel trip with Ocean Surfari with some of the best pizza I ever had- thank you Juan, Elsie, & Kaelynn for an amazing trip (annnnd waiting for my brother in law who was the last one back on the boat ). We saw sting rays, reef sharks, lots of beautiful fish, and a sea turtle at the spots they stopped! read more

Omg Captain Jeff Aka El Hefe was amazing!!! This was our 1st time to the VI and captain Jeff took care of us! We are on our honeymoon I have never been deep sea finishing but my husband has back home! We caught 2 blackfin tunas 4 Bonitas 1 barracuda an both my husband and Jeff fought a shark!!! OMG... This place gave us the wedding reception EVER.. they didn't know it but thats what it turned out to be. We got married on St Thomas and because of covid had no family or friends come with but we booked the 6 hour Sunset pizza cruise and it turned into the best Wedding reception ever.. AND PIZZA DELIVERED in the middle of the Caribbean Ocean is the bomb!!! Now thats service. Juan and Riley did an amazing job keeping everyone happy and safe. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone!! read more

We took a fishing trip with this company and we had a good time. Initially we wanted to go to the shelf for bigger fish so we went to smoother waters (per our direction to the captain) and found some fish there. I would recommend this business and Captain Jeff. read more

Captain Jeff is outstanding and a true professional in all aspects of boating and coaching on fishing. We left out of St Thomas rode out about 40 minutes and put us on the fish. We had six in our trip and we all brought a fish in. Dinner for two nights delish. I've experienced other charters and this by far exceeded my expectations and I credit this back to captain Jeff. His attention to detail and ability to assist us was beyond. When we ended our trip his filet skills and advice on preparing our fish was an A+. Really who gets a sushi roll named after them - our Captain. Thank you Jeff for amazing trip. Join us for some wine tasting soon read more

We had an ideal fishing trip with ocean safari charters and Captain Eric. This was the first time we had taken the USVI fishing charter over the last 20 years or so. Without doubt, it was the best. The main difference right off was that Captain Eric has us fishing deep about 30 minutes after leaving the pier. Previous excursions had shied away from going to deep water on half day charters. It had always made sense to us and we always had fun but were lucky to catch enough fish to feen us for one meal. Eric told us the drop off and trench would not take much more time and suggested we do it. We were not particular about what we wanted to catch but I have to say, my first choice would be Tuna, second, Mahi mahi. For this half day charter, I'll let the pictures tell the rest of story of our fishing. We ate sooo good the rest of the week thanks to Eric and Ocean Surfari read more

Such an unexpected fabulous day! We had booked another company months in advanced and got canceled. We frantically search for another adventure that would take us to pizza pi. WOW! Glad we got canceled. This was an incredible trip. We did the "do it all", snorkel, pizza and sunset. Chris, Elsie and Riley were an incredible team with first class hospitality. Plenty of pizza, snacks and drinks for a day that made our vacation. We highly recommend this tour if you want to enjoy time out on the water. PS, ask for the Blue Drink! read more

We had the most incredible, amazing time with Meatball and Jeep Surfari LLC. He took us around the island in his jeep to the most fabulous, secluded beaches on the St Thomas. We also got to taste fruits and nuts from the wild. Meatball rounded up coconuts, almonds and much more so you could taste what the island had in store for you. If you don't take this jeep tour, you will miss everything that makes St Thomas so special. read more

We had a great day with Chris and Jeff and caught some amazing fish. I highly recommend these guys for having the fishing experience you're looking for. Whether your hardcore or trying to keep kids entertained, they can get you to the best spots and if it ain't happening they move on. read more

Are you kidding me? The best crew and the nicest charter boats! The staff is highly talented fishermen and will put you on the fish! We had a great day on board and 20 minutes in we hooked a beautiful white marlin. The crew was on top of everything all day and we had a blast. What a nice break to climb in the air conditioned living area to recoup. We grabbed some lunch and had two triple hook ups back to back. Lots of black tuna and a nice 30lb Mahi. If you want to spend a day fishing, don't waste your time anywhere else. Call these guys and you will not regret it. read more
