Dr Romano and the nurses were so wonderful. They were stitching me up well into the evening. In fact I was not released until after 10pm. Please keep in mind that the facility closes at 8pm. The staff could have told me that they were unable to treat me because the injury was so bad and sent me to a hospital but they didnt they did the best and with a smile, never complaining that they were forced to stay late. I did struggle to make these payments, however, we came up with a payment plan and I was able to pay off the balance. At my next appointment she declared that she thought it would be easier for me to find a new doctor that took my insurance. I have been trying to do that for over a month and I have not been successful. My medications are running low and I'm trying to ration them the best that I can. I called her over the weekend because I'm feeling very sick from the withdrawal. Her office returned my phone call this morning and said that she already told me that she would not see me as a patient again. Withdrawing from any medication can be very dangerous and I feel as though it inhumane, irresponsible, and unethical for her to not at least help me to come up with a plan to do so in a healthy way.

Went in today with a bleeding puncture wound on my big toe after dropping something on it that was…read morestill oozing blood. I am on a blood thinner. Someone came in, took bandage off and said I should have a x-ray. No one even cleaned the wound. X-ray tech was the only person there who was very good and managed to get my foot into position for the x-ray due to my having a knee replacement that hinders my movement. Sat in examining room forever. Was amazed at how unsanitary the room was. Had to agree with the person that wrote that previously. Actually mentioned it to my daughter when I finally got home that the room needed a good cleaning and perhaps a paint job. Gerney had a piece of rubber hanging off of it. Two chairs in room were position next to the dirty wastebasket. Could see gloves and other trash in it so I moved to the gerney to avoid contamination. They did order an antibiotic, thank goodness, because I feared more germs from the room. After x-ray, person came in and put a bandaid on it. Now it is bleeding again through the bandaid. Will not ever go back there.

I was short of breath from the coughing and had constant nasal drip. The PA said it was an acute upper respiratory infection. I asked for something stronger than over the counter cough medication and she prescribed the pearl drops which I told her do not seem to work for me. She said then I could just continue with the over the counter cough medications that I am taking. I did go ahead and take the prescription for the pearl drops. i asked if there was something else that she could give me and she said it would have to run its course. My husband was there with me because he has been sick with the same symptom. When she saw him she gave him an antibiotic and the pearl drops for his cough. I am not at all happy that I was not given an antibiotic as well. Hopefully he will be well soon but I am afraid I will be fighting g this for a while longer! I will not go back to this place! I wasted two hours of my time and the money for my office visit!

I had a wrist ganglion that had progressed for fifteen years without it bothering me, except that…read moreit looked ugly. It was the size of half a golf ball, and eventually started to ache. When it became very hard and painful, I gradually pressed an extremely sharp double edged tapered knife, that had been sterilized with a flame, directly into the outer edge of the lump in a location to the left of my artery and nerve. There was instant relief after the semi-hard contents of the ganglion flowed from the half-inch slit. I sprayed the incision site with alcohol, and closd the wound with an adhesive gel pad. The wound seemed to be healing nicely for five days, but then sepsis set in and Dr. Christian was the available ER specialist to surgically repair the entire wound site. He did a wonderful job, and as the swelling continues to recede, the infection has not returned. Feeling continues to return to the parts of my hand that are no longer swollen. My only mistake was in not trying to find Dr. Christian prior to doing my own surgery, which in two other instances worked out perfectly fine.

The tale of two very different experiences…read more First experience: I bring my son in on a Sunday afternoon after suffering a nasty bike injury which required 14 stitches to his leg. The receptionist was caring and receptive, the nurse was amazing and the doctor was fantastic. If you asked me my review after this experience, I would give them 10 stars...it was a wonderful experience after a very scary event. Second experience: I bring my son in at 9am to have his stitches removed. The receptionist was rude and abrasive. First question: "Do you have an appt.?" No, I was told to return after one week for a check of my son's stitches...her response, "Who was the doctor?" Ummmm, I don't know..."Here, full this out." Mind you her tone of destain isn't present in my written post. My son and I wait for THREE - yes THREE hours while person after person came in for an appt. before being told that there is only one doctor on staff today. WTF!?! You mean you didn't know this when I checked in!!! We finally get to go in back and the nurse was very nice and caring. Then the doctor walked-in...clearly annoyed. Questioned why were there and why we wrapped the wound, why we used bacitracin, why we thought the stitches would be taken out. The answer to each of these questions was: because the doctor told us to. I will spare you any further details but needless to say the stitches didn't come out (not my concern or problem at all). Clearly, we will be following up with his primary! We were treated like an imposition from the moment we walked in...the level of customer service was appalling!!!
