We're pretty rude and the wait was so long I went to real emergency room. I had pneumonia and the nurse was on me about keeping mask on .

I had to visit here the other day and I was floored by how efficient the whole process was. I…read moreburned my hand quite badly, and all the urgent care places were closed because it was 8:00 pm. I really didn't want to go and sit in the ER so a nurse friend of mine told me what to do to keep my hand safe until I could go to urgent care in the morning. I made an appointment at CareWell on their website and immediately got a text confirmation. When I arrived the next morning, they were totally ready for me. They greeted me, gave me an iPad to fill out my info, and took my into the room immediately. I was seen in only a couple of minutes after getting into the room, and the NP was super nice, caring, and helpful. She helped me treat my hand, and went to great lengths to find alternative medications for me since I was allergic to their burn ointment of choice. It was a fast and easy appointment and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. They're opening one in Seekonk, closer to where I live, and I will definitely visit for any urgent care needs in the future. I am so impressed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the last time I step foot in one. After a recent visit…read morewith my son, there was no greeting, no communication. Clinician sat alone in the room for 30 minutes before even calling anyone, and everyone was looking at each other like, does anyone work here. Then we got a $600 bill, because we found out the provider was out of network. No one at CVS knows what is going on, but CVS minute clinic is listed as being in network. So next time I go, I ask, can you tell me if you are in network. "No, we have no way of telling you." That was after CVS telling me to ask them first. You literally cannot search for their providers by name. Second time I tried, I was on waiting list, but there was NO ONE there except for the patient who was being seen, so I thought my chances were good. It said 1.5 hours wait. Fine. I needed to be seen. The clinician saw me and said, "I am going to lunch after this and won't be back until 1:30. You can wait if you want, but there's no guarantee that you will even be seen, but you have to be in the waiting room to be seen. So chances are low you will even get seen, but you can wait if you want." Seriously? There was zero information that there was a lunch hour, and with the literally "don't really care if you live or die vibes" from the clinician, I have finally realized that this place is a disaster. And whoever the genius was who decided the large panorama screens were that you now have to enter your information into before even being spoken to by anyone is obviously didn't try entering their information before putting them in. Its a pain in the neck, and takes 10 times longer than just giving your information to the person. I feel sorry for old people who have to try and work that monstrosity. CVS is not what it use to be. Terrible experience, and they don't care about their customers. If you are going to operate with miserable staff and zero communication, just shut the pace down.

Stay away!! No communication!! No one knows what the heck is going on!! Good wait times and that's…read moreabout it! Misdiagnosis and wrong medications are given! Spend the money and go to a "real" urgent care!

I have seen Dr Morar a couple of times for medication management. She is very flaky and she is also…read morevery forgetful. She does not return calls and changes her mind left and right. I have NEVER experienced a psychiatrist like her. Although she is nice, I would not recommend her. She forgot what she prescribed me (look in your damn computer lady). I received a prescription from her. I returned it 3 days later so that she could write me a new prescription for my previous dosage. After leaving many messages, I received no call back. Finally a lady left me a message that I could pick my prescription up on Tuesday. I called Wednesday and the receptionist said she would call me back after Dr Morar replied to her message. I received no call, so I called back. The receptionist told me that Dr Morar would come by the East Greenwich location later that evening to drop off my prescription. The receptionist said she would call me once it was ready. I received no call once again. I called back the next day and another receptionist messaged her and Dr Morar said that I had to wait until my appointment the next week. Now I'm a whole month without my prescription. I must have had 10 requests for Dr Morar to call me back so that I can explain. She never contacted me. I also want to add that she always writes my med changes, etc on a word document and gives it to me at the end of the session. The first time she never sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy. She said she did and I had to have the pharmacy call to clarify that they never received my prescriptions. The next month she gave me the sheet with med changes (take 1 1/2 pills and then on June 2nd take 2). I fill my prescription and it was only for 30 pills (should be 45 pills if I'm taking 1 1/2) the pharmacy called her to get clarification and she said that I am only to take one. My sheet specifically stated to take 2 on June 2nd. The pharmacy called her and she said she's only prescribing one. WTF? I have it in writing and she's not remembering or even bothering to check her notes. To sum things up, the B$&!@ must have Alzheimer's and/or avoidance with lack of follow up or concern for her patients mental stability. I requested to change doctors and I was advised that is not allowed at Lifespan outpatient mental health clinic. I was advised that if I want to change doctors, I would have to go elsewhere. Common sense says switching to another doctor in the same office would be beneficial because they can read the notes. So I'm stuck with this flake because hopping around to different psychiatric offices will make me look like I am doctor shopping. I am so frustrated. I just want to feel better and she's making it difficult.

I did struggle to make these payments, however, we came up with a payment plan and I was able to pay off the balance. At my next appointment she declared that she thought it would be easier for me to find a new doctor that took my insurance. I have been trying to do that for over a month and I have not been successful. My medications are running low and I'm trying to ration them the best that I can. I called her over the weekend because I'm feeling very sick from the withdrawal. Her office returned my phone call this morning and said that she already told me that she would not see me as a patient again. Withdrawing from any medication can be very dangerous and I feel as though it inhumane, irresponsible, and unethical for her to not at least help me to come up with a plan to do so in a healthy way.

While Melanie was a lovely person, I would never recommend anyone to be under her care. I was on a…read morerelatively high dose of Seroquel at a young age, which is widely known as a dangerous drug & is recommended to get bloodwork done every 6 months while taking. Not only was I never once sent for bloodwork, I also had reported to Melanie during a visit that I was experiencing some twitching, to which she said "I've never heard of that happening with this drug"! Turns out, I was developing Tardive Dyskinesia and would not find out or cease the medication for another year and a half+ after doing research of my own once it became unbearable. TD is a serious, sometimes permanent, (and VERY WELL KNOWN) side effect of Seroquel and is life altering. I have now been off this med for 3 years and still experience some symptoms. Let this be your warning!
