Worst experience ever…read more I purchased a acura RDX on Wednesday 12.10. On Thursday 12.11. I realized this car was not for me. Yes I should have done more research before signing. More so I should have looked at their other reviews and reports against them with the better business bureau. I thought being one day after purchasing I would be able to return the car. They offer a 5-day satisfaction guarantee on their websites. After being unable to reach my salesperson and finding out he was out of office. I tried to reach a manager. No luck. The next day my sales person reached out. He said he wished he could help but the car was already registered. I took this as understandable until I reached out to the RI DMV and confirmed it was not registered. Finally after calling them out on this. I was offered a swap for a lower model car. Still basically at the same payments. I finally was able to reach a manager. I explained the whole situation. He went down on the price of the lower model car by not nearly enough. I explained at this point I just want to return the car and unwind the deal. He told me that was too bad and I was contracted in. I am a local guy who has been with Honda/Acura for over a decade. This is beyond disappointing.

I have been a loyal customer for approximately four years. On the day in question, Nick instructed me to drop my vehicle off at 8:00 a.m. for service. I did exactly that. After receiving no communication for hours, I called around 11:00 a.m. and was informed that my vehicle would not be serviced. The fact that no one contacted me and simply left my vehicle sitting there for hours is completely unacceptable. My time was wasted, and no service was provided despite my willingness to pay for the work. I also find it deeply concerning that personal feelings appeared to play a role in this decision. Business decisions should be based on professionalism, not personal disagreements. I specifically want to address Nuno Aguiar. I purchased a vehicle through him and have spent thousands of dollars repairing and maintaining it since buying the burden of a "car". That experience has been a significant financial burden, and I cannot ignore the role it has played in my loss of confidence in this business. I also want to address Rob, who hung up on me during our conversation. Regardless of any disagreement, hanging up on a long-time customer is unprofessional and disrespectful. The facts are simple: I was told to bring my car in at 8:00 a.m., I complied, I received no communication, I had to call for answers myself, and I was ultimately denied service after waiting for hours. That is not acceptable customer service. Midas has lost a customer who trusted this business, paid for services, and remained loyal for years. My trust in this location has been completely broken, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. In addition to the significant mechanical issues I experienced with the vehicle I purchased, I was also subjected to conduct that I found unacceptable and unprofessional. During my interactions with the dealership, I was met with threats, vulgar language, and obscene remarks. Nuno Aguiar's son, Tyler, followed me outside and made threatening comments directed toward my boyfriend. I found this behavior intimidating, inappropriate, and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism customers should expect from a business. I attempted to address my concerns regarding the vehicle and sought a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was left feeling disrespected and mistreated. Regardless of any disagreement, customers should be treated with courtesy and professionalism. The conduct I experienced fell far below that standard. Based on my experience, both the condition of the vehicle and the manner in which I was treated were extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Service Advisor Adam Parker was polite, attentive, and efficient at getting the diagnostic process started. Within an hour or so, mechanic Aidan Hogan made the diagnosis and sent us an informative video showing us exactly what the problem was. I told Adam about an important doctor's appointment I had coming up in Boston, and he moved things along, returning my vehicle within 24 hours. SO INAPPROPRIATE...  He came back and said his manager told him to write it up and that we have a deal and to come back Friday to have my husband my cosigner sign and to put down a deposit.. try to call thursday afternoon to set that up and was told he was busy but would call me back--- which he never did.. call friday morning and the sales manager had NO IDEA that this was the plan or any of what i said so it was not relayed.. told him my frustrations and said he would not run my credit and put a deal together without having money in house so I was forced to give a deposit.. Didnt hear from them for the rest of the day, called again the next day.. couldnt get a hold of any sales manager for hours and the receptionist who could not care less said i emailed them your name and number they will call you when they call you.. Again--- nothing.. called again Monday morning and got the run around from that same receptionist until I finally got a hold of a manager. Not a great experience at all from start to finish... pulling teeth to get a hold of anyone and unprofessional.. do not buy from here.
