The owner told me she had to be forceful with people like me and then said have a safe trip home as she folded the receipt and put it back in my bag. Rude and condescending to say the least! His response was short and again rude and that he didn't have anything to wrap or protect the prints in. He asked if I still wanted them and I did purchase the prints. I was also not thanked for my purchase. It's now disappointing that I have the memory of two beautiful pictures being tied with the poor customer service I received. Dan was gone close to ten minutes,came out and offered $5,000...We had an appraisal from a Massachusetts Jeweler years earlier for $13,000+ so we returned ring to safe deposit box. Recently when selling some jewelery, we had the ring looked at by a fifth ave. jeweler, and he stated that Bigham's was a good offer...which begs the question! what transpired 3yrs ago in that backroom at Bigham. Tried to discuss the matter with Kathy (the owner) but it appears that either she is not getting the message,or she doesn't care. Recent telephone conversation with Dan did not resolve the matter.
