It's been several years since I've been here, ordered the goat cheese ravioli to start. Which were definitely delicious. And had the grouper that came with gnocchi for entree. It was good. And the service was excellent. The view was excellent they gave us a table facing the pond and beautiful water fountain. Such a lovely restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so special.

Wonderful night out for my husband's birthday! Make sure to set reservations! The service is phenomenal! Every staff member you encounter will wish you a happy birthday! So nice! They do have a dress code, business casual or cocktail dress preferred. Perfect place for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and all of life's main events! They do have valet parking, highly recommend as their main general parking lot is very small. They have a couple of enclosed side rooms for more private celebrations. The bar makes tasty drinks as well. We had an oyster appetizer along with the wedge salad which they split into two portions for us, their maple bacon on this is amazing! We also ordered Japanese Wagyu and a filet mignon as our mains with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts for our sides. All delicious and highly recommend. They do give the birthday person a free dessert which is over the top, make sure to get their chocolate peanut butter pie, you won't regret it.

Great spot in the Tampa area for dinner! It was busy due to the convention going on but they got us in at a high top in the patio seating area. The entire service staff was super friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Solid recommendations and the food was spot on. The calamari is excellent... you could eat anything with that sauce on it! I ordered the scallops which were cooked perfectly and the risotto had great flavor. Would definitely go back here again.

Appetizers started off amazing with the hamachi crudo and ocean roll. The hamachi was tender, thinly sliced with a little heat. The ocean roll is well balanced, plenty of salmon and tuna with a nice crunch from the chili crisp. House salad was refreshing and the mustard dressing had great flavor. The salmon nigiri was underwhelming, I thought the caviar and chives would bring a different hint to the dish, but it tasted standard. Highlight of the meal was the dessert. Both the peanut butter pie and butter cake were fantastic, cannot recommend these enough. Service was efficient, our drinks were always topped off and our server made sure our dishes came out perfectly. Ambiance is upscale with a nice view of the lake or a more intimate vibe in the restaurant interior. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner or date night!

Let me start by saying our server was incredible! The food excellent. The decor could use some upgrading. But, we will absolutely be returning to this establishment.

We ate at Ocean Prime on a previous visit to the city so stopped by to enjoy dinner on their patio. Our service was EXCEPTIONAL!! The patio was pack but every member in the patio bar area stopped by to check on us. We never felt rushed, more like we were the only people on the patio! Our meal was split for us when we told the server we were splitting a meal and our dessert came with specific instructions so it would taste just like it does in the restaurant. Tonight's visit was more for drinks after dinner elsewhere but service was just as personal as the last visit. Our bartender recommended the carrot cake pictured and it was very good!

What an exceptional dinner service and food. I couldn't have been more satisfied I could have fallen asleep at our table. This is one of those meals your dream about or you wish that if you were on Death Row, this would be it. The Calabrian stuffed olives for my martini were of epic taste and the lobster Mac and cheese is top tier at this location. Our server Mike was on top of everything for the duration of our meal and made sure nothing was left out. He made our anniversary the best. Location is a bit busy but you can hear yourself your company and a great view over the water. 10/10

A five star rating! It was worthy . The restaurant is beautiful , with an open , lively feel. The service is super professional, with friendly courteous service. The prime salad was very good, tiny bit soggy , but still good salad. My main was Seared Tuna. One of the best pieces of tuna I've had , ever. Super fresh, no fat, clean flavor perfectly seared. Big piece as well . My friend's Filet mignon was great, flavorful and perfectly seared. One of Tampas best restaurants.

As a Tampa native, I'm ashamed to say that it's taken me so long to come to Ocean Prime but at last I've made it and this place is an immediate YES! The food was so good and the drinks were consistently on point! We order quite a few things ranging from, lamb chops, filet mignon, lobster bisque, goat cheese ravioli, porkchop, mashed potatoes, cream spinach, lobster Mac and the tastiest dessert!! Everything was so good! We sat outside in the evening and it was a bit chilly, but that's not a huge complaint. They have the heaters/warmers but they weren't on at the time. I'll be back in the daytime to sit in that exact same spot and enjoy the view. I'd highly recommend trying them out if you haven't already. It is pricey, so bring your wallet.

I went here for the first time for my bestfriends 22nd birthday and it was delicious! We reserved at 7 but the reservation times seemed off since a lot of people had to wait 10-15 minutes for their tables. There's three different seating areas outside, inside, and by the bar. We got to our booth and they were sweet enough to decorated the table with happy birthday confetti and every worker made sure to congratulate the birthday girl. Our server Magdalena eased us into the fancier dining by explaining the menu, combo options, and drinks which helped tons. We ordered a lot.. everything was well worth the price, though the jumbo shrimp only comes with 4 and is mostly paying for presentation (which was still amazing). We each got a 8oz filet and a lobster tail, while i got parmesan fries and she got mac n cheese. Portions were good amount so there was plenty to take home. They also serve coffee so of course I got a latte with my dessert which helped with the food coma. The food is amazing and the service even better the only reason I almost lowered a star is due to the crowd ambience. Majority of the time It was loud with men yelling over each other with distasteful conversations and people blocking the waiters from passing so i couldn't label it relaxing, but definitely a place to try at least once.

Ocean Prime is easily one of my favorite restaurants, especially for lunch. The lunch menu is fantastic, and the entire experience feels elevated from start to finish. The ambiance is beautiful -- both indoors and outdoors -- but I especially love the outdoor seating with views near the water. The decor is elegant, modern, and makes every visit feel special. The service is always top-notch, attentive, and friendly. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh and delicious, and then had the Sea Bass... truly one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and absolutely memorable. Ocean Prime never disappoints, and I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

The service here is top of the line. Our reservation stated it was celebrating our anniversary. We had champagne and rose petals on the table when we were seated. (We don't drink alcohol unfortunately so we had them take it away) the rose petals were a beautiful touch. I did order a Shirley temple that came out smoking and bubbling with dry ice, that was a fun touch! We ordered tuna sashimi, grouper and brussel sprouts for our entrees. Absolutely delicious, no notes. Then we ordered carrot cake for dessert. They brought it out with a "happy anniversary" chocolate on the plate. The detail and quality of service was such a pleasure to experience. My husband has been here several times and has loved every dish he has ordered. If you want a classy restaurant to celebrate a milestone definitely check out Ocean Prime.

I've been to Ocean Prime multiple times and it continues to impress every single visit. The ambience is consistently elegant and inviting ,upscale with a warm, intimate vibe that makes it perfect for date nights or special occasions. The service is always top-tier. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and this time recommended combining the Prime Roll with the Dynamite Roll,my first time trying this combo and it was unreal. Crispy shrimp tempura tossed in spicy mayo paired with delicate beef carpaccio on top... insanely fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best sushi dishes I've had there. Their martinis never miss either. I had the Black Orchid martini and it was smooth, slightly sweet, and reminded me of a lychee martini in the best way. Exceptional food, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Ocean Prime remains one of my go-to spots in Tampa, and I'll absolutely be back (again).

I know this restaurant is upscale, does that mean it is not kid friendly? My children are 2 1/2 and 1 years old. Normally well behaved but babies will be babies. We plan to take a family vacation to Tampa and love Chilean sea bass, that's why I ask?

It's really an adult atmosphere... People drinking and soft music. I personally wouldn't take a child as I think they'd be bored.
