I am picky when it comes to Shellac Nails. I also have very sensitive nails. I have to go to a nail technician that takes their time, goes slow and be very gentle with my sensitive nails. Tiffany was very good. She understood. I was very satisfied with my nails. Mimi did my pedicure and she gives the best foot massages ever. She took Her time with me. It was very relaxing. There are several reasons I am not giving this salon a 5 star but I have to tell you, I am picky and use to an amazing nail salon I usually go to in Texas. This salon does not run its air conditioner, did not have my favorite nail color and when I got my pedicure the massage chair next to me that was connected to my chair was shaking and I found that to be very annoying. There is one more thing I found in convenient and annoying. If you want to tip you have to do that separate and in cash. Serious???? I have never been to a salon that does this. I have always added the tip to my total bill. You do not find that out until you pay. That explained the ATM in a nail salon. So you would have to pay a fee to get cash to tip. So as far as the work done on my nails I was satisfied as far as the salon itself it is average. No nail salon should not run their a/c. It was a warm day. read more

It was the best decision I could have made! Not only was the interior clean and bright and very relaxing and calm, Tiffany did a great job on my pink and white acrylic fills. I have been to lots of nail salons in Cape May County. Ocean Nails is simply the best. I recommend this place to everyone I know. It is clean, quiet, and relaxing. Furthermore, it is relatively inexpensive for the quality of the service one receives. Pedicures include a lengthy massage and hot stones. My gel manicures always last. They are also extremely accommodating. I have taken my little girls there and everyone was kind and patient and fulfilled their every whim and wish. Their nails looked adorable, with designs, and I was only charged $5 per child. My friends and I love to meet here and relax. I'm so glad I found this place and won't go anywhere else! read more

I went here with my daughter yesterday for the first time and couldn't believe that I had never gone here before since we have lived in the area for 15 years. It is a "little gem" on the way into Sea Isle right off the GSP. My daughter got a gel set which looked beautiful when finished and I got a spa pedicure which was wonderful! By far the best pedicure I have gotten in this area! What I loved about Ocean Nails was the cleanliness of the nail salon and the friendliness of the staff! This will be my new go-to for nails! I feel like i definitely got taken advantage of as far a pricing goes. First off I went with 3 of my girlfriends. We all had appointments set for 5:30pm. (Also keep in mind, when these appointments were made, the prices were confirmed before hand. They said $50 for a full set and pedicure and they even have a price sign up that states this) . They sat me in the pedicure chair for 30 mins just soaking my feet not being serviced for someone to then come over to me and tell me my nails will be done first. Fine no problem. Then after I get my new set put on, the woman doesn't even paint my nails yet she says can you go get your feet done and then come sit back here and I finish your nails. I said no I was already sitting there for 30 mins not being serviced so therefore I am not going to keep going back and forth. She said okay no problem. She finishes the set and still no paint has been applied. Then asks do I mind getting my feet done and have my nails painted at the same time. Again I said no problem. While my feet are getting done no paint has been applied to my nails.The woman who did my pedicure was good. The massage and hot rocks was amazing! Then the same lady who did my nails comes over to do the design I wanted on my toes which she clearly didn't know how to do. She kept wiping the polish off and doing it over. She did this about 5 times until I finally said forget it leave them solid. She takes me back to her station to finally paint my nails. The 5 colors I chose, I told her to just paint each nail individually with each one. Then she asks me I do design for you. I said sure why not. She does a design that is not even fancy at all and didn't take much time to complete. Now, every nail salon I've EVER been to, offers a FREE nail design if you are only doing a design on one nail on each hand. 4 HOURS LATER (after all my girl friends have now been finished for quite some time) I go to pay and the woman tells me its $88!!!!!!!! because I got a design!! And I tipped her $5 on top of that. Now the only reason I did not get crazy with them is because one of my girlfriends goes to this nail salon all the time. Even she was disgusted with this price and situation. This is not acceptable! And they didn't even give me the stamp card so after a certain amount of times you go you get a discount of some sort. I am beyond disgusted. Never again!! read more

Myself and some of my bridal party decided to try Ocean Nails to get a manicure and pedicure before the wedding and we are so glad we chose this location! The staff was so friendly, the facility is very clean and we had an amazing experience. We all get our nails done regularly and this experience was by far one of the best. This place was pretty bad when it comes to nail salons. To start the color selection was poor. During the manicure the man doing my nails was very rough in pushing back my cuticles then he cut me really badly. He didn't apologize, just looked at it, put a paper towel on it kept going. The part that really got to me is that he continued to buff and file my nails with blood on the various items...then he just put the buffer back in his drawer! He didn't throw it out! So gross and unsanitary. I will not be going back here. read more

This nail salon is under new management and they are terrific! The salon is immacutely clean and has been freshly painted and decorated. They have a great selection of nail polish. You will feel like you are having a spa day! Hot towels, offers of coffee, tea or water, etc. They take their time and do a super job. Go one time and I am sure you will go back time and time again!
