I would not recommend waxing. I Requested a full leg and underarm, left with a half leg, under arm and super sticky. She did such small sections at a time it took forever, and she missed spots. I love the work these guys do and the artist who do the nails, but the business side of this place is a joke. They told me one price when I came in with two kids and charged me completely different prices at the end. I called and made appointments for a 9 and 12 year old, asked for prices. I was told $20 for pedicures and $10 for nails for kids. They put gel nails on my 9 year old without asking and charged me $30. My 9 year old hands and nails cost $60!!!!! Complete double charge and a huge surprise. They charged me for adult prices for my 12 YEAR OLD!!! because they said "she's adult price"!!!!! Another surprise there. They said they told me but they honestly didn't. They were adding up the services on the back of a bill envelope for goodness sake!!!!!!! I'm so upset and feel greatly deceived by this place. I will never go back sadly because they cheat their customers!!! They should be a better system so that people know exactly what they are paying for before services performed. I have been frequenting Ocean Nails for several years. When Kevin and Kim owned the business it was always pleasant. They are under new ownership and it has not been a good change. The new owner is not honest. I had a coupon for service. There was no expiration on this coupon. It was delivered to my cell phone on December 17, 2022. Today, January 14, 2023 I went in for service. It is very common to wait a month or six weeks between nail appointments. I told the technician that I had a coupon and she said it was only good for 2 weeks. Well, that was NOT conveyed on the text message with the coupon. Long story short, the owner became irate in front of myself and my daughter and refused to honor the coupon. He made me very uncomfortable and I felt the need to leave this establishment immediately. I will never return, as I feel this owner is not a reputable businessman. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed and i think the lady went over a few places twice with th wax which cause my skin to be ripped of and immediately after she rubbed them with aloe Vera gel which burned and stung like crazy. I'm used to someone using oil to get the extra wax off. But I didn't know how bad it was until the next day when it started to scar. The whole area under my eyebrows and above was scarred and it has been two months now they are fading away very slowly read more

I went here for the first time last week! I made an appt although I don't think I needed too they weren't very busy (which I liked). I got a pedicure and fill-in. The girl that did my pedicure was new but she did a really good job. I was a little skeptical at first since she was just starting out..she took extra time to make sure she was doing everything properly. Kim did my nails and did a speedy yet great job! I loved that she was able to do a fill in so quickly for me and it turned out great. She did a design and made sure it was what I wanted. Only reason I am giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because I felt the filing of my finger nails was not the best. There were some that had some rough edges still when I left. But not a huge deal I just filed them a little more when I got home. Prices are also pretty reasonable. Thanks for the service. Will be back! read more

Three words: chop shop nails. Quick service, varying prices and no care for your actual natural nails. The favorite line, "what you want?" They hate removing nails, you could end with the same set for 2 months, with just continuous fill ins. The first set I've ever received there was perfect and I'm assuming that was just to bait me in, after that it was disastrous. From uneven gel, uneven nails, polish bleeding on your cuticles, nails breaking in a weeks time due to uneven foundation. I visited another nail technician and she immediately wanted to know who did that God awful job on my nails. read more

I have been here several times in the past. I was very disappointed in my service. The young lady who performed my mani/pedi didn't introduce herself (I think her name is Tay -beautiful young African-American with long blingy nails). For my pedicure, she used one hot towel and told me to put my legs together. When I told her I was ticklish she rolled her eyes and kept right on scrubbing my feet even when I was pulling back. She left me standing by the pedi chairs while she cleaned the chair after I was finished. I asked for French manicure. She did my nails. 6/10 nails are more white on the right side. No manicure. Just did the nails and charged me for a manicure. And she actually talked on her phone while doing my nails. It was not an emergency call. It was "Hey, who you hanging out with? What's her name?" And the only reason she hung up was because the person she was talking to wasn't wanting to talk. It was rude and completely unprofessional. I won't be back. read more

One star because this place is HORRIBLE ! I asked for acrylic nails and I love long nails so I told her that. Next thing you know she's saying no I don't need my nails this long and going on. I feel like I'm paying you money you shouldn't be questioning me about the length I want my nails. I'm giving you MY MONEY ! I didn't fuss with the lady though ( I think she's the owner short, Asian ) I allowed her to do the short nails just because I'm such a nice person and she keep begging me not to get the long nails like whatever. read more

This is my salon in Ft Walton Beach! The employees are so friendly and make the experience worth it. The second you come in they great you and ask if you'd like a drink (water, mimosa, soda). They know how to treat their customers and you can tell by the large amount of regulars that are always here. The techs took they're time and made sure we were comfortable and our pedicures came out great. Having had an amazing previous experience at this salon, I decided to book an appointment for two pedicures and 'dip nails'. When my guest and I arrived for our appointment, we got a rude attitude right off the bat. They only had 2 people working (from what I could tell), and the place was empty. A man had walked in behind us with what I assume were holiday gifts for them, and they sat him down immediately for his pedicure. The older woman who I assume is the manager, kept yelling to the technician "can they wait?", 'they' meaning myself and guest. This man was obviously some kind of VIP top priority to them. The tech filled up our tubs, and I noticed that there were no liners in the tub. I looked around and all the other tubs had liners in them, even the one that was currently in use by the man. I asked the technician why our tubs did not have liners in them, to which she replied "You have to request liners". That's a health concern for me, so I asked her if she could please put liners in our tubs. She very rudely pulled the plug to drain the water and marched off to get liners. From the 10 minutes I had spent with her, it was pretty clear that she was not interested in doing her job in the slightest, with a bad attitude on top of it all. We ended deciding to leave and take our money to a different salon that didn't treat us like we were a burden. Needless to say, I do not recommend this salon and I personally will never go back! read more

No complaints with the pedicure itself or the girl who did my pedicure..everything 4-5 stars until I went to check out...so just an FYI for anyone on here seeing the $5 off coupon here in yelp, the owner does not honor it! She says it's not for them ‍ poor customer service in my opinion, and I most likely won't be going back. Furthermore, if you're retired military or a military dependent, you don't even get the 10% military discount. I don't so much care about the dependent deal, but it should still be honored for a retired service member. read more
