What a waste of time and money! I am far from fussy, especially with deep tissue massage. I had a man, I think his name was Dennis. I am 99% sure he has never massaged a body in his life. I felt like a barn animal with all of his awkward, heavy petting. I asked him to press harder and he started assaulting me finger by finger, then would lean on me with both his arms as if he were trying to get a quick siesta in. Then he carried on with rubbing his long fingernails all over me. When he "pet" my hamstrings he failed to tuck his fingers in, leaving his hands (&long fingernails) super close to my vagina... WTH??! I don't expect the cream of the crop for a 50$ deep tissue. I got the flock outta dodge, maybe even did burnouts on my departure. Worlds worst massage experience! read more

$30 for an amazing hour long full body reflexology massage?! I cannot recommend Ocean Foot Spa highly enough! On top of providing great service for an incredible price, they are open 10am to 10pm. I often come by at 8:45pm, in my PJ's for a massage before bed! (the massage is done while you lay in a recliner, fully clothed, so it is important to wear loose clothing) I swear, you will absolutely love this place! Ocean Massage in San Clemente provides an outstanding massage at a great price. They have two types of massage, foot reflexology massage (often called Chinese chair massage) and table massage. They do an outstanding job of both, but I prefer the foot massage. It starts with your feet being soaked in warm water while the therapist starts with a scalp massage and works his or her (you usually can choose male or female) way down to your feet and then back up to your back again. If you have some stress or aches and pains, it you owe it yourself to give this place a try. It feels great, even on your wallet. read more

Don't let the exterior freak you out. When I first pulled up, I put my car in reverse and almost bolted, but I read other reviews on here and decided to give it a shot. It was awesome! I went for a foot massage because my feet are pitiful. The sweet lady (didn't catch her name as she seemed to speak very little English, if at all) did a wonderful job and a couple of times I woke myself up with my own snoring. I found this amazing little massage (foot reflexology) business in a small strip of stores including a junior market, post office annex and pizza joint across the street from Shorecliffs Automotive. The massage takes place in a recliner...so wearing loose clothing is best. Besides your tootsies, the masseuse works your ankles and calves. This feels wonderful. If you seem appreciative, they may add a little forearm massage and neck reflexology. He earned the $5.00 tip I gave him (17%). I can't wait to go back. We are new to the community and wanted to find a massage place for a monthly massage. We started with Massage Envy which was good but they messed up our appointments on Father's Day which was very upsetting when we arrived and had no appointment. They tend to make a lot of mistakes so we decided to try Ocean Massage and we are so happy that we did. We have been going here for about 9 months now and love it. It is not as fancy or formal as Massage Envy but the massages as just as good and they are a lot less expensive. We usually get a 90 min massage and it's a full 90 min. They are always on time and very polite. I also like that they don't talk to you while you are trying to relax and enjoy your massage. I have had many different therapist and enjoyed them all. My mom and I have been here at least 3 times and just recently bought a package for 5 more treatments each. It is so great for the price and very clean! The staff doesn't speak much English but who cares you want to relax and it's very relaxing! They are very nice and again I stress very clean (I'm an Esthetician) so that is important to me. My first massage there was OK. I felt for the cheap price it was good enough. My second massage there was SO SO. If it wasn't cheap then I wouldn't have gone back again. My third massage was HORRIBLE! "Nancy" was terrible. She obviously had no formal training and did not know what she was doing. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage that was a waist of time. She spent two minutes on each leg and did not hit any of the key muscles in my back. Her pace was also terrible. Based on these three seperate cases, with three different people I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not ever go back. It all goes back to, "You get what you pay for." read more

Cindi! Loving, strong and intuitive touch. My body was aching and needed some tlc. I like a firm Swedish so some areas could use deep but not a careless 'hurt me till I die' rub down. It was the type of massage that when your body is in pain and can't get a full nights rest... This was the medicine! Fell asleep a couple times but I can still feel the therapeutic work. I want to give one star because my massage was really really terrible but the accommodations were nice and the staff was very nice. I came here last night for a massage and it was so bad. First of all I wanted to get a combo between deep tissue and reflexology. But the two therapists walked in and just started (it was a couples massage and my husband was in the room too) they just began without asking what we wanted. I feel terrible writing this because clearly my therapist had something going on but her hands wouldn't stop shaking which was sad but also makes for a really poor massage. My husband said his massage was great and it looked great I kept looking over and he was getting a proper massage but my lady literally just rubbed oil on me for an hour I couldn't wait for it to be over I even asked several times for more pressure but nothing changed. When we went to pay we were charged $50 and told it was $5 off. All the massage options are different prices and we weren't even asked what we wanted. They speak very limited English and seem to have no real training in massage. I didn't like the service so I didn't tip. The guy followed me out to my car and harassed me for not tipping him. I will never go there again. Very bad service and very unprofessional! By they way, prices have gone up. They charge nearly what the legitimate massage places charge. read more

I had been here before and had the male therapist, he was nice but touched me a little inappropriately (I know this because I work at a spa and know the terms). I went a second time because my friend and I needed massages and thought, well, she'll be there so it will be fine. First, we asked for two male therapists--they must have misunderstood because we had two females. So we start the massage, and I don't think the girl who was my massage therapist was even on property, because I waited 20 minutes for her to even arrive (and we had reservations) that they made us wait 10 minutes for together. My friends massage began and mine began shortly after. Her massage went so horribly that she stopped it when mine had just began. She flinched from the pain and her therapist was actually happy for it saying that she was entering a new level of relaxation. My therapist focused on my ears for the whole ten minutes I received one. We both ended our massages within the first 13 minutes, then they told us we did need to pay for the massages because we had used 13 minutes and 3 minutes. I had to pay for my 3 minute massage that was so painful the back of my head was bleeding because she had jammed my earring butts into my skull! By far the worst experience for massage. We will never go back... Especially after this experience! read more
