I saw a post from them on Instagram and immediately reached out to see if they could provide a tour for us. They happily obliged and were really excited to host our group of 4. We were warmly greeted, received a welcome beer, and was taken to where the beer is brewed. We got a really good history of the brewery, the team, and what the brand represented, and we were able to taste a sample of the beer right from the room-so cool. During the pandemic they hosted movie nights where you'd watch the movies from your car. They have a mug club called Club Foker. As far as I'm concerned, they are the only brewery here with a mug club. I could be wrong though because I have t been to all. They are family friendly, and I think even dog friendly too. I like that you get to pass by the brewing tanks as you make your way to the back. The front is indoor seating. One of the walls has all the mugs from the Club Foker. Another wall has a huge map of the world. You can all the host for a pin to mark where your from. It's cool to see what parts of the island and other countries have come here. In the back there is a permanent food truck. The food is good and complements the beer nicely. I really liked the chicken wings, which are huge (the whole wing). Of course the beer is good. To be honest the beer is t my favorite of the local breweries, but it is good. I really like the Red Ale, their flagship beer, as well as the Vaquera (wheat) which I tried on my last visit. I've been here during the day and the night. Both are nice, just depends on what your looking for. During the day is more low key. Before the tour, I ordered a small appetizer because I was about to do a rum tasting on an empty stomach. As a solo traveler, I expected to feel welcomed, but unfortunately, I didn't. The bartender, Jesús, came across as dismissive and unfriendly. While I appreciated that he wanted to let me know the appetizer was a generous portion, the way he communicated it made me feel like serving me was an inconvenience rather than a pleasure. After the tour, I had the opportunity to interact with another bartender, Yamil, and the experience was completely different. He was warm, friendly, engaging, and genuinely made me feel welcome. He embodied the kind of hospitality I expected from such a prestigious brand. I also felt that the employee at the admission counter could have been more welcoming. When you're paying for a premium experience, the customer service should match the quality of the product from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. Overall, I still recommend the tour.
