They know everything about their fish and even the things they sell that you want to use to make your fish. The place is always clean and fresh smelling. The prices are very fair. The wait for service is never long. They have the best salmon and white fish around. They clearly get fresh fish daily. We have never had a bad experience. They even have a place to eat and they make prepared food for you. It is wonderful. Parking is easy and the staff is the best so have fun and go there. You will not be disappointed.

Eddie and Joe are THE best!!!…read more if you want to be sure that your dining experience is going to be awesome and hassle-free, it'd be in your best interest to be assisted by either of these fine men if not both of 'em. Eddie is so experienced and knows the menu, food prep, galley and the best customer service techniques. There's NO chance that these guys let you go home dissatisfied. The items my family most often orders includes: salmon sandwich with fries and Cole slaw, a dozen chicken won tons, a poke bowl with the hamachi (yellow tail) and spicy tuna, a fried shrimp taco, the smoked salmon pasta, mango salsa, crab cakes, crunch fish, CA & spicy tuna rolls, oysters on a half shell, veggies and sometimes their tempura. Needless to say, when we come here as a family, we feast. Zoila was another employee we loved seeing here but more recently we learned that she retired. How exciting for her!! The tables are always clean and tidy. Their trash cans are being emptied often. Folks are typically very nice about sharing chairs or squeezing by with a high chair. I've been coming here for probably 25 years or so now. It's a family favorite spot and I'm thrilled to have been able to share it with my lil one for the past almost 10 years now.

The store has sooo many things to look at and it seems to be tight for movement when there's a handful of people, but all that struggle is worth it since the yummy food makes up for it. The BEST grocery store sushi I've ever had, and I think it's due to how fresh everything is so the sushi rice doesn't have the chance to get cold in the fridge. I find that a lot of grocery store sushi is ruined by the cold rice even if everything else tastes good. They were constantly restocking even in the 10 minutes I was in the store, and people were grabbing all the new stuff as the worker was putting them out, so I could only try a few things. It's okay though because the things I did try were so good. California roll was insane, so huge and stuffed with ingredients, was definitely my favorite. The spicy scallop maki also was pretty spicy! The seaweed salad was good, and I appreciated that they had a burdock root side which is pretty hard to find! Perfectly crunchy and had a slight sweetness to it, would recommend if you're trying to find something new. I will so be back here if I'm ever in need of a quick lunch or bite for a picnic or something. Wish we had something this high quality for the price in OC!

We arrived at about 10am (opening time) and we were able to find a good spot in the private parking lot. There were at least 10 other people that must've had the same idea and show up early to beat the traffic. We opted for the grilled halibut and seabass dishes with garlic bread, rice, salad, and ceviche. Even though it was a little cool from the rainy weather, it was still nice enough to eat outside in an enclosed patio with electric heaters. They also have two restroom facilities for any bathroom needs. The main area where we ordered was also where we picked up our orders. We also had the option to call ahead and place orders for pick up/to go. Those were processed in the Seafood Market section (where they had different fresh fish and seafood options). The food was pretty good--opted for garlic butter sauce for the fish and it was the perfect complement to the halibut, but the sea bass was honestly so tender that it needed no sauce. The salad and dressing were as expected. Same with the rice. All of these portions were pretty big. The garlic bread was also pretty tasty and a juge portion, but the ceviche, although good, was a smaller portion than expected. It was fresh and quite flavorful and came with a side of chips. The food was delicious, environment was nice, and we came across others that made the trek out early to enjoy the food at this spot. Will definitely visit again in the future.

There are security guards at the entrance so there are no transients loitering. I got the shrimp and scallops plate and a clam chowder. I thought the plate was ok. Fries were cold .but everything else was fresh but again, nothing stood out. The clam chowder was not salty enough. But it had so much clam pieces! The garlic bread was amazing. I love garlic and this alone was their saving grace. You can taste the fresh garlic and butter! Overall I wouldn't come back but I do see that there are A LOT of loyal patrons. So I would suggest to give them a try.

I got there with my mother and was greeted by a very lovely gentleman named Clark. He told us we could sit wherever so we seated ourselves in the outside area. He came over right away with the menus and asked if we had been there before to which we responded had not. He went over the menu with us and answered any questions we had regarding the menu. He was very sociable and friendly. We chatted with him and put in an order for the Kiwi Chowder. I ordered a Modelo and my mother ordered a glass of orange blend wine. He came over with the drinks a while later and the Kiwi chowder and have us plenty of time to sit and enjoy the dish before we ordered our main courses. The kiwi chowder was delicious and came with little crackers. The clams and mussels were so tasty and the Ora King Salmon was a nice treat. After a while he came back and served me the Fisherman's Mixed Basket and my mother got the Fish tacos with fish of the day for them being Sword Fish. The fisherman's basket was amazing and paired perfectly with my beer. I had never had clams, mussels, snapper, and oysters all together and they were so good I wish I could have them more frequently. The place was very cute and sat quietly with good music playing. Not current music but music that really fit the place and set the vibe. I will be coming back here and if you ever go, there is no bad choice for the fish, the service is stupendous and I haven't gotten anything like it in forever, and if you meet Clark enjoy a friendly conversation with him.

Similar to other Asian market set ups you'll be able to pick up hot food and other items like sashimi as well as other Japanese snacks and goodies. I also happened to pick up some good protein shakes on sale there as well as noted some other staples that I would find in big chain supermarkets. I found the aisles to be well stocked. Prices everywhere are going up so I wouldn't say this is the cheapest place to shop but for what you get it's not bad, and if you are looking to get a variety of what you need for Asian cooking this is a good spot for it. Service was quick and friendly at the register as this no frills and casual market. There is a parking garage behind the grocery as part of the mall but it can get crowded on weekends so if you're lucky you can find street parking but watch for street signs and some areas and streets are not in the best neighborhoods adjacent so be wary of your surroundings.

There's limited parking in the back of the building and only big enough for smaller compact cars. They have several buckets of fish sitting on ice chips, lining the middle of the store. A couple live tanks against the wall. Decent variety. When I was choosing my fish from their ice buckets, I thought they looked a little extra slimy but against my better judgment just gave it a shot anyway. Took my catfish to the kitchen to request it be fried. Within a couple hours of eating, I got the worst food poisoning I've had in a very long time. This was such a disappointing experience and now I'm sick as a dog. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
