I attended a weightlifting competition here and the facilities are well maintained, and the large hall was great for the competition and for the associated vendors. Restrooms were well taken care of, trash taken out in a timely manner, and plenty of security on the premises. While we were there the center also hosted a cheerleading or dance competition of some sort and it had ample space for both events.

We came here for a volleyball tournament. There was plenty of parking along with a clean facility. Lots of room for the courts and vendors in the hallways.

This is a nice venue for events. It's within walking distance of many of the hotels. I was here for a volleyball tournament, inside the courts were nice but there was not a lot of space between courts for spectators to be able to move around. But other than that, it was a good venue for an event.

I was at the Ocean Center for a fundraiser. I was extremely impressed with the drinks, the food, and most especially the staff. The staff was kind and courteous, and actually made you feel like they wanted to be there. This also included the valet parking guys. They, too, were a hoot to talk to, and we are so very nice. I am from Chicago and I've been to a lot of events in Chicago. Maybe it's the city - but Florida seemed so much nicer than my Hometown

This was my first time at this venue and we were here for a competition. My youngest child had me bring them to support friends of theirs whose school was there being represented. Like all these venues parking cost money and the tickets to get into anything are not inexpensive. On the plus side we were able to park very easily and just walk across the street to get in. We had a short wait to enter the auditorium area between rounds and we wanted about while my child look for anyone they knew in the crowd. As my dinner time was going to fall while we were inside I was glad that they had some actual food available and I stopped to talk to a couple of the employees to get some information about items offered because I am limited in some of the foods that I can eat. As it turned out I could enjoy a good deal of what they had. If you've been to these types of places then you know that food is never cheap but can be of really good quality. I felt that this was a bit more middle of the road but when I ate I was satisfied with what I had. The setup and the auditorium worked really well. Overall I have to say it's a pretty decent venue with some very good employees who were very friendly and helpful in multiple areas. I would definitely look forward to coming back again.

Great layout, fully handicap accessible. Drive up here for the Daytona Boat Show. The show was disappointing but the facilities were great. We paid for parking but it looks like there was plenty of free parking in the back. Restrooms were very very clean, lots of staff to help you find your way around and overall impressive facility.

Great turn out. Teams are doing amazing. Facilities are very clean. Easy to walk between courts. One complain, no drink/water stations anywhere for the players. Then sports drinks and water vendors charge $5 per bottle. This is wrong.

So cheesy that it was a melt but all good fun with the giving out of prizes every half inning and some fun nonsense with Shelldon. No seat is a bad seat, well maybe with the exception of baking out in the sun on the 3B side bleachers or if you're lucky enough to get stuck behind one of the posts that supports the roof, and since attendance is always seemingly miserable you can score great seats at the last minute. The food selections are basic (some minor league parks really have expanded and bougified their offerings) but here it's still your basic dogs, burgers, pretzels, chicken fingers, funnel cake fries that make up the back bone of the menu. The good thing is that prices across the board are very reasonable and the surroundings are small/informal enough that the friendliness of the staff really shines through. The Tortugas won and we saw some good pitching from Daytona along with two home runs. Sure there were also a few mental lapses from St. Lucie that equaled two errors but it was still a solid game. Good pricing, super easy to do everything from park, get tickets, find your seat, etc. All in all a great time. Definitely a must do!

As many of you locals know, these events can last anywhere from four days to almost two weeks which allows multiple opportunities to visit annually, hang out with friends, see all the great shows and have some awesome food and drink. If you have never been to the Full Moon during a motorcycle event you should definitely give it a try. All the concerts are free, the beer is relatively cheap and the girls are beautiful! If you only have a chance to see one band while your here, mark your calendar for Rockit Fly, they pull the biggest crowd and it is always a blast. Rockit Fly is a local favorite and all of the members are personable and easy to talk to. Twisted tea is $3, Bud and Bud light is $4, Yuengling is $5. There are multiple food vendors on site providing items like: large turkey legs, sausage and peppers, chicken on a stick, funnel cakes, french fries, loaded fries, loaded nachos, corn dogs, large pork chops, Philly cheesesteaks, brisket, ribs and much more. Note: it can get loud in here so bring earplugs as a precaution. There are times when I have no problems at all but if I've been listening to bands all day it's nice to know that I have them if I need them. Additional Note: There is minimal seating at the Full Moon but there are bar ledges on the perimeter of the entrance off Main street where you can lean, take a partial load off and watch the bikes go by. The main stage is outdoors with tons of room for large groups. There is also an indoor bar in the back (by the food vendors) with another stage where secondary shows/contests take place in the air conditioning.

The park wasn't packed so that was nice. The staff were helpful and kind. We didn't purchase any food or drinks on site so I can't speak on any of that. But they did provide a free water cooler which is all we needed. Lockers were available but we didn't use one. Plenty of seating and there's also shaded seating that can be rented if you choose. Also available were "cabanas" to rent which had tables and chair and a cooler you can use if you had a large party or something. We left, cleaned up and went to dinner then came back that evening to do the go carts and laser tag. The go cart staff was cool and everything went smoothly. The carts and maintained and ran well. The laser tag was fun also. We met several friends there and had a good time. Overall would recommend Daytona lagoon. Some prices seemed high but hey, welcome to Daytona beach in 2024 ‍. Very much looking forward to a few relaxing hours in the water. I checked and purchased tickets online, the website clearly stated that all water park features were available for this rate. Sounded great! We arrived and immediately had problems with the staff validating our parking. Then, we asked about lockers, and they were $10 - $15 to keep your things safe. We paid that additional fee, and then realized that the lazy river was shut down. I asked a lifeguard why, and he said they were understaffed and maybe it would open at 4 or 5 (our tickets were only good until 6). Other visitors were also complaining about this. There are no umbrellas, just chairs in the sun. And the only attraction we wanted to do was closed so we got our stuff out of the expensive locker and asked for a refund. The manager said that the lack of lazy river access was specified in the online ad, which it was not. She then said that we should be happy since this was a discounted fee. We were not. They finally did refund our money but refused to refund the locker fee since they outsource this service. And, of course, the parking was still a problem. My husband also had bought a drink with a $20 bill and the attendant scrutinized it saying they had a lot of counterfeits. All in all the entire experience was hugely frustrating and disappointing. They treated us like the bad guys when they had clearly misrepresented the experience. I can see why no one was really there. This place could be a great asset to Daytona, but it is really a huge embarrassment. We won't be back, and we won't recommend it to anyone else.
