Went to event here. Big place. Easy to get to Parking is $15 in adjacent garage. Friendly staff. Limited food options for our event.

I attended a weightlifting competition here and the facilities are well maintained, and the large hall was great for the competition and for the associated vendors. Restrooms were well taken care of, trash taken out in a timely manner, and plenty of security on the premises. While we were there the center also hosted a cheerleading or dance competition of some sort and it had ample space for both events.

We came here for a volleyball tournament. There was plenty of parking along with a clean facility. Lots of room for the courts and vendors in the hallways.

This is a nice venue for events. It's within walking distance of many of the hotels. I was here for a volleyball tournament, inside the courts were nice but there was not a lot of space between courts for spectators to be able to move around. But other than that, it was a good venue for an event.

I was at the Ocean Center for a fundraiser. I was extremely impressed with the drinks, the food, and most especially the staff. The staff was kind and courteous, and actually made you feel like they wanted to be there. This also included the valet parking guys. They, too, were a hoot to talk to, and we are so very nice. I am from Chicago and I've been to a lot of events in Chicago. Maybe it's the city - but Florida seemed so much nicer than my Hometown

This was my first time at this venue and we were here for a competition. My youngest child had me bring them to support friends of theirs whose school was there being represented. Like all these venues parking cost money and the tickets to get into anything are not inexpensive. On the plus side we were able to park very easily and just walk across the street to get in. We had a short wait to enter the auditorium area between rounds and we wanted about while my child look for anyone they knew in the crowd. As my dinner time was going to fall while we were inside I was glad that they had some actual food available and I stopped to talk to a couple of the employees to get some information about items offered because I am limited in some of the foods that I can eat. As it turned out I could enjoy a good deal of what they had. If you've been to these types of places then you know that food is never cheap but can be of really good quality. I felt that this was a bit more middle of the road but when I ate I was satisfied with what I had. The setup and the auditorium worked really well. Overall I have to say it's a pretty decent venue with some very good employees who were very friendly and helpful in multiple areas. I would definitely look forward to coming back again.

Great layout, fully handicap accessible. Drive up here for the Daytona Boat Show. The show was disappointing but the facilities were great. We paid for parking but it looks like there was plenty of free parking in the back. Restrooms were very very clean, lots of staff to help you find your way around and overall impressive facility.

Great turn out. Teams are doing amazing. Facilities are very clean. Easy to walk between courts. One complain, no drink/water stations anywhere for the players. Then sports drinks and water vendors charge $5 per bottle. This is wrong.

I've enjoyed lots of shows at the Ocean Center over the years. Great place to ride my bike to!

Daytona Beach didn't just stumble into its ranking as the #4 city for nightlife on the planet--it earned it through the sheer, electric legacy of spots like Timmy T's. This isn't just a nightclub; it's a legendary MTV-era cathedral of sound and light where the "Daytona Dream" was born. But look closer. Beyond the 50,000 watts of bass and the ocean-view VIP decks, there is a new frequency vibrating through the salt air. In a city where the sun never sets on the party, the Daytona Dream Center is proving that the "girls of the nightlife" aren't just part of the scene--they are the scene's greatest untapped potential. The Vibe: Imagine the raw, unfiltered energy of 90s MTV Spring Break fused with a modern, high-glamour sanctuary. Timmy T (the visionary Chudkosky himself) hasn't just preserved a club; he's curated an atmosphere of "Atmospheric Alchemy." It's where the music meets the soul. The Inspiration: For every woman navigating the neon-lit corridors of the world's elite party district, the message is clear: Your lifestyle is a masterpiece in progress. Supported by the heart-centered mission of the Daytona Dream Center, the nights at Timmy T's are no longer just about the dance floor--they're about the rise. This is where the elite converge, not just to lose themselves, but to find a higher version of their own story. In the #4 nightlife city in the world, the brightest lights aren't on the stage; they're the women who turn the nightlife into a lifestyle of power, purpose, and transformation. The Verdict: If you haven't experienced the "transcendent frequency" of Timmy T's, you haven't seen Daytona. Come for the legend, stay for the evolution.

The woman at the entrance was kind and helpful, though she spoke so softly my ADHD brain had to lean in like a detective--but her directions were spot on. Inside the main building, the art from Cuba was the star for me--bold, vibrant, full of life. Some of my absolute favorites were in the Cuban art section--each piece felt like it was humming with its own frequency. The geometric painting (the one drenched in deep reds, burnt oranges, and that sharp black hourglass shape) hit me first. It's bold, mathematical, yet somehow spiritual--like a coded message meant for anyone perceptive enough to catch it. Very "guardian-spirit-meets-mid-century-modern." I stood there longer than I expected. The giant ancient sloth? Unreal. I wish they'd place a modern-day sloth beside it, just so my brain could process the scale without glitching. The bug/kids section was unexpectedly adorable. The kids were living their best lives, and honestly, I was right there with them--zero shame. I did drive over to the second building for the "It's a Ship Show" exhibit, and okay... I see what they did with the title. At first glance I read it as "It's a Sht* Show," and for a split second I thought MOAS got sassy. The artwork leaned heavily into still life, and to me it felt more like pieces you'd find in an upscale lounge, a refined boutique hotel, or a polished restaurant--visually pleasing but not as emotionally stirring as the main gallery. Just my personal taste. I could've spent more time wandering around, but I was on a first date with someone who kept making me laugh. I felt like the loud kid in class trying to stay quiet in a museum. Overall, great value, memorable art, and a surprisingly fun atmosphere. I'd definitely go again--preferably when I'm not giggling through every exhibit.

Yes indeed, another excellent minor league baseball experience at The Jack…read more This time it was Christmas in July night which is something that could only exist in minor league baseball. So cheesy that it was a melt but all good fun with the giving out of prizes every half inning and some fun nonsense with Shelldon. No seat is a bad seat, well maybe with the exception of baking out in the sun on the 3B side bleachers or if you're lucky enough to get stuck behind one of the posts that supports the roof, and since attendance is always seemingly miserable you can score great seats at the last minute. The food selections are basic (some minor league parks really have expanded and bougified their offerings) but here it's still your basic dogs, burgers, pretzels, chicken fingers, funnel cake fries that make up the back bone of the menu. The good thing is that prices across the board are very reasonable and the surroundings are small/informal enough that the friendliness of the staff really shines through. The Tortugas won and we saw some good pitching from Daytona along with two home runs. Sure there were also a few mental lapses from St. Lucie that equaled two errors but it was still a solid game. Good pricing, super easy to do everything from park, get tickets, find your seat, etc. All in all a great time. Definitely a must do!
