Chef Jerica is awesome! She was responsive when we first reached out. There were many desserts and flavors to choose from. We were looking for a dessert table for our wedding and found out about her through our venue, Wedgewood Weddings at Stallion Mountain. She set up our dessert table nicely and our guests loved it! It was all gone by the end of the night and we got a lot of compliments. I highly recommend Ocakesions for your dessert needs! Thank you Chef Jerica :)
I ordered cream puffs for Christmas and boy were they a hit! Good thing I tried all 3 flavors before my family could devour them all. Flavors I got were cookie butter, salted caramel, and dark chocolate. They were all really good! Thank you Jerica for these amazing cream puffs. Will definitely order more soon!

Jerica made an amazing cake for my son's second birthday. She was able to accommodate his food allergies and still make a delicious cake with vegan frosting. We chose an ube cake and I liked the touch of salt in the buttercream. The cake was moist and we all enjoyed it. At first I assumed it was just a toy topper for the Baby Yoda but it was hand made using fondant...it was crazy intricate! Well worth the cost for a great themed cake! We would not hesitate to use her again for other occasions. She operates out of a commercial space for the baking as well.
From the moment I contacted OCAKEsions and spoke with Jerica, it's been nothing but pleasant interactions. It was such a smooth process ordering my daughter's cake for her 1st birthday. Jerica was very thorough and able to answer all my questions. She helped me design the cake as I was indecisive yet very open about the details. The end result was this beautiful, pink-licious cake. Not only was it cute it was delicious. The fresh strawberries were so refreshing with the cream and white cake. I will definitely return for future orders. It's unfortunate for me to give this negative review, but my experience should be shared. I have ordered cakes through Ocakesions for multiple events, and this last order makes it the final time I do business with them. I sent a message a couple months back to order a cake for my sister's 30th birthday. I didn't get a reply and was told my request was never received due to website issues when I wanted a confirmation. The payment link was also sent to the wrong person when I followed up on the invoice. After several attempts I was able to confirm the order and delivery instructions. I promptly paid in advance. Fast forward to 1 week before the delivery date, I reached out to confirm time/date/location. She said we were good to go. Come day of the celebration, I sent a message in the morning letting her know how excited I am to see what she made for my sister. No reply. I call early afternoon concerned I never heard back and left messages with no returned calls. I sent a message through her IG account and multiple texts. I received a call an hour after the time it was supposed to be delivered from the owner's husband letting me know she has not been feeling well all week. My name was missed on the list, and he told me I'll be reimbursed. As the customer having to continuously follow up and ensure the product would arrive is already unnerving. She did not call herself to apologize for not making the cake and had a horrible excuse to give. I let her know my sister's milestone birthday did not depend on her cake alone but that it was supposed to be a highlight for the evening with friends & family. If she came out directly and said she made a mistake, forgot to make this one, I would still have respect for her despite the situation. Not a good way to do business especially with repeat clients who have only ordered through this person for many years.
For my recent birthday party, I wanted a Fallout-themed cake. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I was going to love my cake. She is professional and friendly. The prices are very reasonable too. Other places quoted me much higher for the same exact cake. It was delicious and my guests loved it! I would definitely order from Ocakesions again for my next party.

Super happy with the cake I ordered over email (from another state) for my daughter's 21st! I wanted the "drunk Barbie cake", I gave her a picture of what I liked and Jerica NAILED it! We got the very vanilla cake! My daughter and her friends loved it. She delivered it to the hotel my daughter was staying at. Stayed in communication and all went well. I ordered a custom Kingdom Hearts cake for my boyfriend's birthday. I know the business owner's husband which is how I know of this business. It was very simple to order the cake, and Jerica made great suggestions to have my cake structured properly and let me know when would be the best time frame to serve the cake. I just want to say a big thank you to Jerica for creating my birthday cake. From the beginning to the delivery day the experience was smooth and easy. Both Jerica and her husband Mark were very easy to talk to and listened to my needs. Definitely worth every penny. Found an awesome custom cake baker thru yelp to make a star wars theme bday cake for my son. I screen shot some pics from pinterest and requested a few quotes online and Jerica was quick to respond with a competitive price compared to the other quotes I received. My wife and I ordered the red velvet w/ cream cheese flavor to serve 20-30 guests. Jerica also provides her own personal delivery which was so convenient for us since we're already busy preparing for the party. She arrived on time and we were in awe of the cake. It came out be exactly what we wanted. The taste and flavor was also amazing. I will definitely be asking her to make our next cake and other baked goods for future events. read more

I'm soo happy I found Ocakesions! Jerica was extremely helpful with everything from looking at a few inspo pictures and combining the ideas together to leaving her cake cooler so the cake would not melt. Truly grateful that they are able to accommodate my late minute order for my son's birthday. Jerica was super nice, easy to talk to, and very professional. Gave them a little short of a notice for my son's birthday and they accepted it. Offered a very reasonable price to a customized tier cake and smash cake i wanted. Also ordered their cream puffs. On the day of the party, cakes were delivered right on time! Very good! Cakes tasted not too sweet which we all loved especially the birthday celebrant. Also. The cream puffs were a hit! After tasting some delicious treats at a friend's event, I knew I had to also order from Jerica for my daughter's birthday! She was so amazing to work with - professional, prompt in answering questions, and on time! Not only were her treats so pretty but also tasted AMAZING! Her guava cupcakes were the perfect sweetness and her cookie butter and strawberry cream puffs were slightly crisp on the outside with a soft and delicious inside! Wish I could say how long they lasted, but all 60 were gone before I could save one. Got sooo many compliments with her desserts! I'm a pretty particular person when it comes to hosting events and recommending others, but she will definitely be a person I go to next time and recommend to anyone else that needs perfect desserts! I highly recommend to try this place! The owner is really nice and she was able to accommodate me in a short period of time. From the fondant to the cake and frosting is very addictive! Somehow OCAKEsions appeared on my FB feed and got me interested. After reaching out and being in touch with Chef Jerica, I was excited to order! She does not disappoint. In just a few months, I have ordered on four different occasions and have a future order in place. Her creations are amazing, wonderful details and excellent taste - so moist and very delicious! My favorite was a guava cake for my birthday, definitely reminded me of being home on the island. Jerica is very professional, practices safety (comforting especially during this COVID time) and full of talent and passion. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also delicious. Jerica is awesome! She provided excellent customer service. She was able to make my daughters 4th birthday cake in 4 days notice. On top of that, she was able to look at the invitation and create a unique cake. It was a Halloween theme and she came up with a black cat. We ordered the Guava cake and it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I came across Ocakesions by searching the web and started looking at their Instagram page and really liked what I saw. I contacted them and Jerica was friendly and very accommodating. I was looking for someone who could make a cake and accommodate nut allergies as my nephews have nut allergies and all the bakeries I contacted could not guarantee no cross contamination with nuts. I'm so glad I found Jerica because she was able to accommodate nut allergies and she even delivered the cake to our hotel since we were visiting from out of town. I got Vanilla cake with vanilla Bavarian and fresh strawberries and Minnie Mouse theme. It was delicious and the way it was decorated was exactly what I was looking for. I'll be sure to order from Jerica again next time we're in town. I've already given out her contact information to my family that lives in Vegas. read more
