I'm so glad they have the ceremonial matcha as well. I tried the maru matcha which was like a strawberry matcha and got the clicker! Both were yummy!! I love the clicker one which was a great recommendation from staff! It was so refreshing with the tea and popping boba. Not so sweet which was great! I had also tried the rose rice cake was soooooo good!! I love the flavors which was like a spicy carbonara. You can taste the rose slightly. I wish there was more meat though. The rice cakes were perfect! I could eat more!! I want to try the rest of the food menu! All Looks so scrumptious! Ambiance is nice! Pretty spacious. Lots of room to hang out. Service has always been great here. Staff really know their menu!

The drink menu is massive and almost overwhelming, but I love that they have something for everyone! They also offer food items if you're hungry. The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, but by the time we left it was nice and quiet. The inside is quite large with ample seating. We loved the giant photobooth back by the restrooms and had so much fun choosing the design for our photo strip. The curio cabinet near the counter of trinkets where you leave a trinket to take a trinket was such a cute thing; like geocaching inside a boba shop! Both staff members I interacted with were beyond friendly, too! Just such a great experience being here. While there, I tried the 'Calcifer' which is mango soda, strawberry poppin' boba pearls, and a splash of coconut milk. This was delicious and refreshing for such a hot day. My husband made a build-your-own drink with green tea, mango & pineapple; he really enjoyed his beverage a lot. We also ordered a potato tornado snack to share, which while good, felt a little stingy for $5.50 (our only very minor complaint). We'll absolutely be back anytime we're down on Sunset! Wishing Joah much success so that maybe someday they'll open a 2nd location closer to us... *West Henderson near The M is in desperate need of a boba shop, just saying.... :)

Consider me a fan-go fan-go…read more Mango Mango Dessert is a chain with two Vegas area locations. This is the second of them and is located in a new plaza off St. Rose. I have tried their products multiple times at Yelp events and experiences and I finally made a visit today to find some fun desserts following lunch elsewhere. An employee greeted us and asked whether we wanted to order to-go or dine-in. We opted for the latter so that we could enjoy our treats immediately while escaping from the heat outside. A3. Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly w/ Mango Ice Cream ($9.50): a delightful treat with freshly diced strawberries and mango, some liquid form of mango, the soft sago balls, and the crunchy lychee jelly. The Mango Ice Cream was a little tough to cut through even with the metal spoon until it thawed for a few minutes, but it did bring richness to the bowl. S3. Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake ($10.25): it must've taken at least 20 layers of soft, thin crepes with layers of matcha cream, which explains the price. The flavors are more subtle in this than in the prior dessert, but I appreciated them more after acclimating for a few bites. This is definitely a great option for palates accustomed to lower sweetness. Our server also was nice enough to provide water, although without offering refills, provide more utensils (forks), and check on us a few times. The dining area is well-lit and gratuitously pink, and the music is more R&B leaning in the pop spectrum. They offer one attempt per person per bill to try to stop a timer at exactly 10 seconds to earn a free item; sadly, I was off by just a few hundredths. Mango Mango Dessert is a great Asian dessert spot wherever you can find it, and I'm glad that they're in Henderson. I'll certainly be back when a craving hits.

God, there was so much and I loved the experience but it was so much food, next time my bougie self needs restraint. First of all, the lychee green tea was delicious, I could drink a gallon of it; it was the right amount of sweetness with that tea aftertaste. Second, the panini and scones were my favorite overall from the tiers. I got the tomato mozzarella panini and it was toasty with spinach and pesto, I need to get another one. Third, the scones were to die for. They weren't heavy or like overly dense that you choke; the outside was buttery, crunchy, with the inside soft and full of fruit bits. It went so well with the cream and jam. I felt the other desserts on the tier weren't as wowing compared to the scones and panini; the cake in the shape of a cheese wedge is cute, but flavor profile was kind of lacking. There was just too much mousse going on that the cake inside was just mush; maybe if there was like blueberry crumble or something crunchy inside, it'd be more interesting. And the outside shell is definitely too sweet and thick, I think a glaze would have done as well, but that's just my thought. I would just go back for those scones and paninis but it was a cute set up with cute decor, I'd like to go back to try other things!

You can tell a lot of effort goes into presentation and plating. The matcha drink was solid and above average. Smooth, balanced, not overly bitter or overly sweet -- easily one of the better parts of the visit and something I'd come back for on its own. The downside is the taste of the desserts didn't quite match the look. Everything looked like it would be rich, layered, and flavorful, but most items came off a bit underwhelming and average once you actually tried them. Not bad, just not at the same level as the presentation suggests. Overall, worth visiting for the aesthetics and the drinks, but I'd mostly stick to the boba/matcha side rather than the desserts.

I ordered the matcha soft serve with black sesame filling in my taiyaki, and my sister-in-law got the ube soft serve with Nutella-filled taiyaki. The soft serve was creamy and refreshing, and the taiyaki was perfectly crispy on the outside. Mine had a generous amount of black sesame filling, which paired really well with the matcha. My only small critique is that I wish the matcha flavor had been a little stronger. It was good, but the matcha taste was fairly subtle, and as someone who loves matcha and black sesame together, I would have enjoyed a bolder matcha flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself was clean and well-kept. I had actually forgotten how much I enjoy Somi Somi--it had been several years since my last visit. This visit reminded me why it's such a great dessert spot. The next time I'm craving soft serve, I'll definitely be back!

The ice cream didn't even taste as ube like as before either. So strange. I'm going to have to come back and try the other ones too. I saw the pistachio one and it also was look so light compared to the pics...it also look vanilla like. Even the guy was asking- oh is this pistachio? Service was good but slow.
