I tried the maru matcha which was like a strawberry matcha and got the clicker! Both were yummy!! I love the clicker one which was a great recommendation from staff! It was so refreshing with the tea and popping boba. Not so sweet which was great! I had also tried the rose rice cake was soooooo good!! I love the flavors which was like a spicy carbonara. Tried Joah Boba this past weekend and dang is this place AWESOME! I really wish this was so much closer to my house because I'd come all the time. The drink menu is massive and almost overwhelming, but I love that they have something for everyone! They also offer food items if you're hungry. The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, but by the time we left it was nice and quiet. The inside is quite large with ample seating. We loved the giant photobooth back by the restrooms and had so much fun choosing the design for our photo strip. The curio cabinet near the counter of trinkets where you leave a trinket to take a trinket was such a cute thing; like geocaching inside a boba shop! Both staff members I interacted with were beyond friendly, too! Just such a great experience being here. While there, I tried the 'Calcifer' which is mango soda, strawberry poppin' boba pearls, and a splash of coconut milk. This was delicious and refreshing for such a hot day. My husband made a build-your-own drink with green tea, mango & pineapple; he really enjoyed his beverage a lot. While I don't find myself in this part of Henderson often, I'd pop back in for a tea when I'm nearby! I went with a Build Your Own drink and picked green tea with pineapple and mango. It wasn't the most flavorful, but I'm actually okay with the subtle flavors and appreciated it wasn't overly sweet. I will say that the Potato Tornado is a fun item to order, $5 seemed a little expensive for the size. Service was relatively friendly and quick. They also have mini claw machines that I always play when I'm there because they are pretty easy to win. They just added more books and games to their library and have also added a trinket trade! They habe a photo booth in the back as well. It's a great place to hang out with friends. A lot of times, I like to come here to read and have seen others studying or working. This boba shop was such a cute place. I loved the decor and how everything was laid out and presented to you. The menu was overwhelming in the best way possible because everything looked delicious and sounded good. I was mainly looking at the large tv screen menu and i was planning on getting the bingsoo because i liked that it came in a cup and I could take it to-go but i couldnt find it so i ordered the ceremonial matcha drink with house vanilla. Food: We came here after an event and ordered a pepperoni mochi taiyaki and sweet taro mochi taiyaki and it was so delicious 10/10 would order again (had to try a savory & sweet). The pepperoni was giving hot pocket vibes but in a unique chewy yet crunchy way since it's mochi and it was made fresh. I love taro so the sweet taro was my favorite. We also got the mango bingsoo and it was refreshing and delightful. The soft ice is what I love about Korean shaved ice and I like how they gave the condensed milk on the side. Service: The customer service was quick and friendly. They were patient as I was looking at the menu on the counter and asked questions. It's also good to note that you have to ask them for the key to the bathroom. Ambiance: I adored the place because there were so many unique decorations from the art on the walls to the stickers on the side of the trash. They have claw machines and a photo booth (that we definitely tried). In the photo booth I don't recall having a seat but standing felt right. There were so many themes and cute backgrounds and filters to choose from. I think the prices vary from $6-8 in the photo booth and it was so worth it. I personally think the photos we took there are the best one yet we've had compared to others we've taken. I had a really disappointing experience at this boba shop. I ordered three drinks, and one of them was made incorrectly. When I pointed it out to the cashier, instead of fixing their mistake, she told me I would have to pay again for a new drink. That's completely unacceptable--especially when the error was on their end. To make matters worse, their drinks are already extremely overpriced--around $8 to $10 dollars just for a medium size. They also charge 1 dollar just to make your drink ice blended. You would expect at least decent customer service at that price point, but that was definitely not the case here. Eventually, they remade the drink to match what my daughter originally ordered, but it was terrible--completely watered down and lacking any real flavor. I had a direct comparison since we had the same drink done correctly for my other daughter, and the difference was obvious. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all and just rushed something low quality. It's really disappointing because this used to be a special treat for my daughters--they save up their allowance to enjoy a drink here once a week. This experience completely ruined that. The replacement drink was so bad we ended up throwing it away. Needless to say, we won't be coming back, and I won't be letting my daughters spend another dime here. I really appreciate how they tried to accommodate the influx of crowd with mist fans outside and free water cups, but this place is too small to hold an event of this magnitude. They took orders fast, staff was so nice! They even dressed up for the event. The decorations were very fun, and the themed drinks! But we ordered 3 drinks and had to wait half an hour to receive them, after waiting 15 minutes in line just to place the order. The drinks are super good! Located immediately next door to a movie theater, I see how this place gets high foot traffic and ratings. But based on my experience, I recommend skipping the sips but consider staying for the street snacks. I wasted so much time vacillating between the vast menu items of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, MULTIPLE genres of coffee, specialty drinks, bingsoos (shaved ice), and snacks that I hardly noticed when a large family cut in line and the Asian female cashier let it happen! If that wasn't the first clue, I knew I came to the wrong place when I asked if they could make the "fresh brewed" Assam into a milk tea and was met with a blank stare. At the risk of being responsible for an explosive head injury, I settled for a "Fresh Milk Tea" that couldn't be adjusted for sweetness (Clue #3), which definitely tasted like a mix rather than brewed tea. Also ordered a snappy sounding concoction called a "Pendragon" that promised exotic flavors like dragonfruit and Korean pear but just ended up tasting like grape Kool-Aid. They are the epitome of what I call a "Type 2" Boba Shop that relies heavily on artificial powders and syrups but charges artisanal tea prices. Despite the disappointing drinks and service, their saving grace is their Mozzarella Potato Dogs (aka Korean corn dogs) that produce satisfyingly stretchy cheese pulls. I stopped by Joah Boba for dessert last night after watching Dune Part 2 next door at Galaxy Theaters Green Valley. I asked if they had anything with red beans in it, and the cashier suggested the Original Bingsoo. It was perfect and immediately transported me back to Chinatown Philadelphia, where I would often eat a similar (but more decadent) Vietnamese dessert called che ba mau.
