She has reached important developmental milestones so quickly, and it's clear that this is not by chance--it's the result of a thoughtful, structured, and nurturing environment. What makes Discovery Montessori so special is the perfect balance they create between play, creativity, and real learning. The children are not only engaged in arts and fun activities, but they are also developing foundational skills in numbers, early reading, structure, and independence. It's amazing to see how much they absorb at such a young age. A very special thank you to Mrs. Ildy and her management team for their outstanding leadership. You can feel the care, intention, and professionalism in every aspect of the school. The entire staff is dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and loving environment where children can truly thrive. The teachers are exceptional--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They provide individualized attention and consistently encourage the children's physical, neurological, and emotional growth with patience and expertise. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is not only safe and happy, but also learning and growing every single day. Discovery Montessori has exceeded all of our expectations, and I am deeply grateful for the impact they've had on my daughter's development. Highly, highly recommend.

Under new ownership the facility has only gotten better with the warmth and communication that Ms. Ildy and the office staff bring to the experience. I had 100% confidence that, both in the infant with each of the Ms. Christina's and later the toddler/waddler room with Ms. Lorena, my daughter was well taken care of, well fed, loved, and nurtured. Her development soared and her personality shined. Great experience.

I believe the openings had something to do with issues with previous leadership. There is a new head and assistant head of school and they are wonderful! I really love my daughters lead guide Ms Ashlee. I'm excited to start the toilet learning journey with her assistance. A few of the other places I toured wouldn't even allow toilet learning until after 2 yrs. I think this is absurd if your child is ready before 2yrs. I must mention, that the other guides and assistants that routinely care for my daughter are also wonderful. Everyone is just nice and friendly. I'm happy with the communication from the school, the security of the grounds, and the cleanliness of the classrooms. I also want to mention that I walk by the Nido room every time I drop off or pick up and I'm impressed by the the attention and activities those kiddos get! It makes a momma's heart fill up to see people truly caring about the children!

I am a huge advocate for Montessori education and this school has been a great choice for they do follow the Montessori core values in the education, support and environment for the children. We will be so sad to leave when my son ages out of the program/school.

DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL!!…read more The teachers do not care about the kids! This is literally the worst school we have ever been to, it's so bad that we paid for a whole month (February 2026) but my son only lasted 4 days (no refund). My family and I have never been treated so badly! My poor child was sitting on his poop for what was probably hours because they didn't want to change him. He had the biggest blowout we have ever seen that we had to throw away his clothes. The teacher and Director knew he had a blowout because they tried to cover it up and pretend they didn't see it! On top of this, his teacher Miss M is one of the worst people I've ever met. My son is mostly potty trained which I disclosed to the school and they said it's fine not to worry they understand if he has accidents. Well that is not what happened, anytime he had an accident they were furious! They would scold him and made him so scared to use the toilet from being shamed that he regressed and went back to diapers full time. He would cry anytime we sat him on the potty out of fear we would yell at him because that's what his teacher was doing! We know this because he told us what she would do when he wouldn't go on the potty or have accidents. The last day with his teacher Miss M was the breaking point. He had another accident that she was so furious that she ignored us at pick up wouldn't say hi to us acted like we didn't exist and handed us my son's things and walked away!! And mind you this was his 4th day at this school not even a week and they were treating us this way. This teacher was also very condescending, had no manners wouldn't say hi or bye, always in a bad mood (definitely dislikes kids and her job), extremely passive aggressive, and also micro aggressive. Miss M has no business being around children let alone teaching them. I don't say this lightly when I say she truly is a terrible person. Who yells and scolds a child for having an accident?! If you care about your child do not come to this school!! P.S. do not get fooled by their positive reviews, they are from years ago!

My son LOVES them like family. They took incredible care of him, taught him so much, and truly helped me raise him. I cannot recommend them enough--having them in our lives was one of the best things to ever happen to my little family. The only reason we left was because it was time for him to move on to preschool, and honestly, I wish he could have stayed with them forever. If you're looking for someone to love, teach, and nurture your child as if they were their own, Mama Pari is the one. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

She was 4yo when we enrolled her at Guidepost Montessori at Alicia and within a little over a month she was already speaking so much in Spanish!!! I couldn't believe it. After a year she became amazingly bilingual in Spanish and English. Their Montessori program truly changed my daughter and she became very collaborative and self starter at home, and she continued her academics with numbers, letters etc. to be ready for Elementary School. We will miss the extremely dedicated team of professionals, that became like a family for all of us, and the parents community that revolved around the multiple school organized events. Having my daughter enrolled in Guidepost has been so worth it and my only regret is that we didn't do it before, we are no longer in SoCal as she would have taken preK/Kindergarten here for sure. I can't recommend Guidepost at Alicia enough. Thank you Miss Ivanna, Ariana, Brenda, Jenny, Angelica, Natalie....

Our Family's True Home Away from Home…read more We've had both of our children attending Robinhood Montessori since they were each ~2 years old--our son (now 5) for three years and our daughter (now 2) for the past 6 months. What a blessing it's been! From the moment they walk in, the environment feels truly special: spotlessly clean, beautifully prepared with authentic Montessori materials, and filled with a calm, respectful energy that honors Dr. Maria Montessori's original philosophy. The teachers are incredibly loving and attentive--they genuinely care about each child as an individual. They guide with patience, encourage independence, and foster that deep respect for the child's natural development that Maria Montessori envisioned. There's no rushing, no forced group activities that don't fit; instead, the children are free to explore at their own pace, building confidence, concentration, and a real love of learning. We've seen our son blossom into a thoughtful, capable little boy who takes pride in his work, and our daughter is already showing the same joyful curiosity. We've visited at least three other Montessori programs in our area, and none come close. This school truly embodies the founder's principles--mixed-age classrooms, hands-on materials, freedom within limits, and a focus on the whole child--without any shortcuts. A huge part of what makes this place exceptional is the team of caring teachers and leaders. They are warm, approachable, and deeply invested in every family. They've taken the time to understand our children's unique personalities and our family's needs, offering thoughtful advice, flexibility when life gets busy, and genuine support beyond just the classroom. Whether it's a quick chat about progress, help with transitions, or simply making us feel heard and valued, they go above and beyond. It's rare to find leaders who feel like extended family. If you're looking for a Montessori that truly lives up to its name--one that's nurturing, authentic, and transformative for your children--this is it. We couldn't recommend it more highly. Our kids thrive here, and so does our peace of mind as parents. Thank you for everything you do!

The teachers and staff truly care about the children and create a warm, supportive environment that feels welcoming every day. One thing I especially appreciated was how professionally they handled a concern I had. They listened, communicated clearly, and took action quickly to address and resolve the issue. That level of responsiveness and care meant a lot to our family and showed how committed they are to continuously improving the experience for both children and parents. The classrooms are engaging, the staff is kind and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. My son is excited to go to school each day, which says everything. Ms Marieva, Estephanie, Naghma from the infant room made us feel comfortable during our first two tours and even had him join a circle time before we committed and a meet and greet before he started. The teachers are so loving, kind but also firm. Regardless of what time of day we stopped by, the kids were well tempered and the teachers were calm. They also had a lot of crafts and fun pictures to take home. He moved up to the 2-3 class and Ms Lauren and Monika made it a smooth transition for him! They have Montessori time each day to choose and complete activities, tons of art and time playing outside. The owners Sam and Nayna are the cherry on top. They know all the kids and parents, are never too busy to chat or ask questions and didn't pressure us at all when we were touring, they wanted to make sure it was a good fit both ways. They proactively communicate and plan fun events for the entire school. In fact, teachers on a daily basis were highly communicative letting us know if they didn't eat much (in the infant class), why they changed their clothes if dirty and if they seemed to feeling under the weather. Highly recommend this place, you will not regret it!!
