Wonderful Staff and well monitored safety measures to keep everyone safe. We used Ladera Ranch KinderCare as backup care in Feb 2020 right before the Pandemic. We were also testing out the facility to see if our children liked it and we were comfortable moving them to the location. When the Pandemic hit we pulled the kids from school and held our enrollment. Nov 2020 we enrolled the kids and we couldn't be happier. The staff has not changed even during the Pandemic which is such a wonderful thing for not only the children but staff as well. They take every precaution to keep our children safe. KinderCare in Ladera Ranch has been absolutely amazing. My daughter started there around age 2.5 and will be concluding her time there next month when she starts Kindergarten. This school is NAEYC accredited. There is a full curriculum from toddlers to pre-K to school-aged kids. But above and beyond that, the teachers are wonderful and the experience is so great. They potty trained my daughter when she was two. The app is amazing.. they post photos and videos throughout the day, you can see what they ate, what they are working on, and more! They have cared for my daughter and supported her and made learning fun! Also, their summer program is AWESOME!! If I had another child, I would bring them to KinderCare in a heartbeat. We absolutely love KinderCare! My daughter has been attending KK since she was about 4 months old due to us both working full time. They have made such an incredible impact on her life! She is so social, so smart, and just so happy to be there! Honestly we can't get over the things they do each day. The kids have so many fun things they get to do and learn. They provide the parents with a monthly calendar of their curriculum and fun events that they will be doing. It's always a great feeling for your child to be so excited to return to school each day. Disappointing Experience with Ladera Ranch Kindercare We applied for our child to be on the waitlist at Ladera Ranch Kindercare in the fall of 2021. Throughout 2022, we inquired three times and received inconsistent information about our position on the waitlist. Sometimes they told us we were 6th in line, other times we were 8th. Today, April 24th, 2023, I called again to check our status, only to find out that they have lost our application and our child's information! We have been waiting for this school to contact us without even knowing that our application was misplaced. When we visited the school to ask about our missing application, they did not directly address the issue. Instead, they brushed us off by saying that there were still five people ahead of us in line. They then told us to call back after our child turns 3 later this year, at which point they would update us on our position and potential enrollment. We cannot help but wonder if this treatment is due to racial discrimination against Asians. Our experience with this school has been extremely disheartening, with dismissive responses and a lack of respect for applicants. It's April 2024, and COVID is no longer a concern, yet we were still not allowed inside the school and had to wait outside while our questions were answered. If it were not for the convenience of this school being close to our home, we would never have applied in the first place. We now have serious concerns about entrusting our child's education to a school that has demonstrated such a lack of goodwill and care. Even if they were to call us now and offer our child a spot, we would not feel comfortable enrolling them. They put so much time, thought, and effort into making sure every day is a great experience for not only the kids but the parents too. Our family could not speak more highly of Ladera Ranch KinderCare! The moment we had our tour I knew that the very best was right here, and that was what we wanted; what parent doesn't. The director Colleen and her team are fantastic! We feel like such a part of the KinderCare family. Our daughter and I bonded with her teachers immediately. They do such a wonderful job and I feel they are invested in our child's education. We also see her knowledge and social skills just flourishing. The whole staff has taken an interest in our child, but I see it with all of the families who walk through the door. I love how they have worked with us through normal childhood milestones like potty training. They care so much it's just incredible! I put my son in this KinderCare beginning of 2018, he had just turned 2 years old. I have so much remorse and guilt for sending him there. Every day that I picked him up he was so sad. He had no secure attachment to any caregiver there because they literally were rotating out of the place. And I hate to say this, but it looked like they were just pulling people off the street to watch the kids. It was that kind of quality. My experience was that this place was so disorganized. No one knows what's going on, and especially when it came to your child. I got into a much better daycare and had told the person in charge at the time that I needed to cancel our enrollment. I gave 2 weeks notice. She says, "Write the last day your son will be here and his name on a stickie and put it on my desk please." Then runs out. So I did what she said. The next time I was in I confirmed with her you got the stickie with the information, she said yes. I remove my child from this daycare and place him in a new one the first week of July 2018. I get a call for payment from KinderCare and I told them my son no longer is attending. Check your attendance he hasn't been there for two weeks. I get, "oh yeah I see that okay I'll remove him from the system." I said, that should have been done a month ago. She tells me she takes care of it, so I think we are good. One year later 2019, I am sent to collections. I dispute it and call KinderCare Ladera to clear it up. They said it's taken care of. And then in 2020 I am sent to a different collection agency. I call KinderCare corporate because I am pissed. They said they cleared it all up. It's 2023 and here I am trying to buy a new house and apparently in May 2023 I was sent to collections again by KinderCare! An absolutely corrupt company with very mediocre sometimes questionable care. read more

If you're considering this Kindercare, let me save you the trouble and pick a different one. Our daughter attended this site for over three years, and although our daughter had a very good experience with the teachers at Kindercare, Ladera Ranch, we have had multiple issues with the site director, Andrea Silva since she came to the site. These issues include changing the children's snacks from fresh fruits and vegetables to Lays Potato Chips and Oreos (which caused our daughter serious gastrointestinal issues before we found out) "for budgetary reasons", multiple California State Childcare Licensing deficiencies over the past year, lying to me about failing to administer my daughter's medication for two consecutive days, and finally forgoing informing us of the above licensing deficiencies (which the site is required to do) and turning in the necessary forms to the state with my forged signature. Additionally, Andrea Silva, has failed to amend an error on our account three times since we've discontinued attending the site (despite assuring me that our account was in good standing), and my account has now been sent to collections agency. Even four months after discontinuing attendance, I am faced with a new headache. Save yourself and your children a lot of trouble and find another option. It's unfortunate because the teacher's at this site were fantastic, but the management ruins the experience. read more

We enrolled our daughter when she was 5.5 month old (3 adjusted) from June 2021, she was there just under a year (left in April 2022) and we couldn't have found a better child care center. Having the app to monitor what she was eating, when she was sleeping and most importantly getting photo updates was amazing! The teachers and directors were amazing and you can tell truly care for the kids. We loved their themed days and activities they did throughout the year. The only reason we left was because we moved from the area but I cannot recommend this location enough. We definitely miss being apart of the KinderCare family! read more

We have enjoyed our time at KinderCare. My daughter is in the infant room side B and Ms Farrah is literally the sweetest lady imaginable. She does such a good time taking care of my daughter. They also recently added an app so you get real-time updates on your child's day and photos. I was initially hesitant to KinderCare because of the poor reviews but I'm so glad I went in toured the facility and talked with the director and made the decision for my own. We were excited to have our children reenroll in the LR KinderCare center, after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic. In just the past eight weeks since we've been back, our little miss is flourishing and our son is excited to go to school each day. We chose to have our son attend the Kindergarten program here because of the uncertainty of public school in-person learning versus distance learning. We felt it was important that his first year of primary school be amongst peers, versus in front of a screen, and Ms. Christina is such an amazing teacher! Our kiddos get so much individual support and love within their classes, and we believe it all stems from the big heart of the center's director Colleen, and her vision for her team and all the little people in her care. I love the newly themed "Fab Friday's" and the daily schedule updates (with photos!!!) through the KinderCare app. We are so happy to be a part of the LR KinderCare family! read more

The reviews on here are deceiving so I am hoping to save some parents the time of doing the in person tour if they need half days like me. They won't give a quote until you come in, which as we all know with a baby is a complete hassle especially to find out they only offer full time care (no half days). So if you want half days you have to pay the price for full days and can drop off later & pick up early. Super not flexible. The facility itself seemed very safe and clean so I liked that. The employees were all female which I very much liked and showed genuine care for the little ones. $284/week for 3 full days (older than infant but not yet 2) and $389/week for 5 full days. Also, not flexible on days. Once you set the 3 days needed you can't change it. read more

I brought my son to the Ladera Ranch KinderCare for the first time. When I went to pick him up he had multiple scratches on his face & no answers as to how he got them! The person that was watching him acted as if she didn't know that he even had them and left the day without filling a incident report. After further questioning this the next day, I was told by management the person watching him said that another child got into an altercation with him over a toy. I was told that my child didn't harm the other child. I understand that children at this age don't know any better but I expect more from the adults that are watching my child. The person should have jumped in to either prevent this from happening or at least stop this after the first few scratches. This is unacceptable! I'm wondering how often something like this happens where children get hurt and their parents are not notified. My child had clear marks on his face so they were not able to sweep it under the rug and hide it this time. I am a working mom and it breaks my heart to have made the wrong decision to bring my child to this place. read more

I really don't write reviews but this is a story that I think needed to be told. My wife and I just moved back to CA with our baby girl. We looked at a few Learning centers. It was hard to find one that fit our schedule. After weeks of searching, we found kindercare. With Kindercare open until 6:30, we finally had a winner. As a new parent, it would have been hard to leave my little angel with a stranger. However, I never felt that way. I've always felt like part of the family. The events at the learning center are perfect for kids and the parents. My wife and I plan on having more kids in the future and one thing we know for certain is we will be sending them all to our family at Kindercare. read more

Management here is disgusting, they do not care about anything but money. Andrea Silva doesn't even care about engaging with the parents she has missed festivals and parties at her center which shows how much she cares about "her" center. Josie the assistant director isn't as helpful as she use to be, she seems like she's just there for a paycheck not to mention that there classrooms are filthy and always dirty. Hello fellow yelp users. My name is Lauren. I'm a fulltime working single mom to a beautiful 20month old boy. He attends kinder care in LR fulltime Monday thru Friday. They are thee best!! From Trina (director) to Giselle (say. Director) to his teachers: Noelle, Farah, Josie & others who fill in. He loves it there!! The staff are warm & genuine & tender caring caretakers. And as a parent that makes me feel good knowing when I'm away for 9hours a day five days a week, he's happy & learning & having fun all at the same time. Not only are they caring for my son, but they teach him things to strengthen his sensory, motor & speech skills. They let me pop in anytime unannounced, which I know with other day cares they want a heads up. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone & I actually have been!!! read more

I found KinderCare Ladera Ranch and I was so excited that I did. I was expecting just a daycare and got so much more. The teachers are so amazing and sweet and my 11 month old daughter comes home already knowing a lot more about shapes and how to better use her development toys. Our little one started in the infant room at 3 months old and was the youngest in the class!! Of course as a Mom I had a hard time with the transition, however Trinia and the girls made it easier and put all my concerns at ease. My little one is now 6.5 months old and LOVES coming to KinderCare. Ms. Adriana and Ms. Melissa are especially wonderful, but to be honest they all are great. Trinia is the director and when our little one was sick one time she lent us some essentials oils from her personal stash! Talk about going out of your way to take care of our kiddo! My only negative is that at first our little one was getting sick ALL the time and at times we end up with other kids stuff, but that's all part of it and the positives truly outweigh the negatives. Our toddler daughter has attended Kinder Care LR for about a half year and I have been elated about her entire experience there. Her teachers, Noelle and Patty, are completely devoted to the children's social and intellectual development, while always making certain to foster a fun environment for all. When I pick up Em at the end of the day, the teachers make certain to share her activities and any amusing incident which occurred. Sometimes it takes me 15 minutes to leave the facility because Em also shows me what she drew/created that day. The entire staff is really passionate about the children there, and they seem to appreciate that each child is so different. It's incredible knowing they view our daughter as her own little individual, and they want her to develop that way. We recently moved to the area and previously had a full-time nanny to watch over her during the day. I much prefer this environment as I've seen Em blossom socially. She makes certain to wave bye to her friends and teachers when she leaves KC for the day. At home, my daughter will grab her play phone and say the names of her classmates as she pretends to speak with them. When we visit the park on weekends, she's confident and at ease playing with other children... I'm certain that confidence is due considerably to the caring, social, secure environment at KC. Up front, Trinia is a wonderful manager; Josie is always there to make us feel welcome and to keep us informed of the very entertaining parties, talent-shows, plays, etc. that KC LR hosts for the children and their families. My daughter went here about 2.5 years ago for 4 months before we pulled her out. The facility was always dirty, and all the kids there were Always sick, so even though we'd keep our daughter home for a week at a time to get her healthy, the second we put her back she was sick again. While I understand kids get sick in daycare, what concerned me is the last day before we pulled her out, when we picked her up I immediately noticed she felt warm. We got her home and she had a 101.4 temperature. NO one called us, they did t even seem to notice or care (my daughter was 8 months old at the time and was being held when we came to get her.) That's just unacceptable to not notice a temp that high in an infant, and our concern was they weren't sending kids home that were too sick to be there. Would not recommend. read more

Kindercare Ladera Ranch has been a blessing for my 2 boys, who are almost 5 and 3. I was terrified a year and a half ago to put my boys in daycare because they had never been before. The director made a HUGE effort to get to know my boys personally. I got emails with pictures and updates throughout the days. And my boys have always had the biggest smiles on their faces when I pick them up. Most of the time my older son will ask me to come back at a later time so he can keep playing with his friends. They call it "school" and love their teachers and all their friends. Both of my boys have developed immensely in social skills, milestones, and academics since being enrolled here. My 2 year old was potty trained in 2 days by Miss Rena!!! Whenever we drive past the shopping center for other things my boys scream "can we go to school?!". I know they're safe, well taken care of, cared for, and happy. What a blessing this place is for our family! read more

My daughter has been going to the Ladera Kindercare since she was 4 months old. I was super nervous being a first time parent bringing her to daycare but the staff at Kindercare is so caring and understanding that my fears quickly went away. They even encourage me to call or pop in at anytime to check in on her. She has blossomed beautifully there and has made many friends. The Director Andrea, Assistant Director Josie, and their teachers (Mrs Michelle, Mrs. Lan, Miss Jackie, and Miss McKenize) and the rest of the staff have been AMAZING!!! My daughter looks forward to going to daycare and has a blast! I especially love that they take pictures for me to bring home. Amazing facility and amazing staff. The director, Trina, is phenomenal and you can tell truly she cares about every family coming through the doors of Kindercare. All of the staff are very involved with your children and are focused on their development. Our son was 8 months old when he started and in three weeks was crawling, almost now walking two months later. The facility is super clean, bright, warm, and friendly. We have used other Kindercares in the past and this is the best one we have been too. If you are considering daycare for your children do yourself a favor and spend 10 minutes with Trina and you will know this is the right place for your family. NEW, REFRESHED, AND CHILDREN LEARNING! Let me rave about Trinia the Director, since she started here almost 6 months ago, she has completely revamped this preschool! She hires Exceptional Teachers that are Warm, friendly and they Love our children:) Lots of hugs and attention to the children:) Trinia has Refreshed every single classroom!! NEW Educational toys, New decor, and the kids and teachers have plenty of fun in these classrooms! I personally love all the New Science and Art going on at this school! You can see it right as you walk through, the art work is hanging everywhere like a real Art gallery and there is always wonderful music playing, which provides a very inviting entrance:) Trinia, Gisele, Marisala, Terra, and Josie are the staff I interact with the most and they are all Top Notch Loving, Caring, and Genuine:) My son is in the 2 year old classroom 5 days a week, all 1/2 days. My favorite part is that I bring him at 8am and They feed him a full delicious breakfast and a full lunch at noon, it is provided with tuition.....makes my life SO much easier!!! I am Beyond Impressed with how functional and thriving this school has become with Trinia as Director! Last week there was a Book fair, my 2 year old got to select some books, so fun and also there was Preschool Photos..cant wait for those! I am so thankful we found Kindercare Ladera Ranch. We were really in a bind this summer with childcare, and I was initially apprehensive to look at Kindercare as my kids has always had in-home care with grandmothers and nannies. When I met the Director, Trinia Wintz, I immediately felt at ease. The center was clean, full of loving people, and my son (2 years old) took to the environment right away. I'm a pretty nervous mom, but I felt at ease once I met the teachers and saw how much my son enjoyed it. The Director, Miss Trinia, kept in great touch - she would call me throughout the day to let me know how he was adjusting, and the daily report cards of this kid's activities are really great. If you are looking for a fun, caring, safe environment for your kids either as a drop in (come and go on certain days) or full time, check them out! KinderCare Ladera Ranch is a very close location for us to take our daughter and we have had nothing but a great experience. She started KinderCare when she was 5 months old and with her being our first child this was a very emotional experience having to go back to work and leave her. From our experience the staff is AMAZING from the infant room to the toddler room. Our daughter just moved into the toddler room about 2 months ago and absolutely adores Ms. Terra. She has so much energy with the kids and she truly cares about each of them. I couldn't say enough great things about Trinia the director of KinderCare. She is absolutely one of a kind and she cares so much about each and every child at KinderCare. I have experienced a few drop offs where it was a hard morning for my daughter and Trinia will go comfort her and call me with an update on how she is doing. My daughter absolutely adores her and it shows from her interaction daily. I also have to say how great Josie the assistant director is and how my daughter always loves seeing her everyday. Our daughter also learns so much each day and there is always a fun program for her to be involved in. Overall we have had such an amazing experience at KinderCare with the staff and director. My son is 3 and attends full time Monday through Friday and asks to go to school on the weekends - he LOVES it here. I feel so lucky and blessed to have found a school that is such a good fit for our family. Trina and Giselle (the school directors) are the best! Aidan changed schools quickly and they were great about getting him all set up and comfortable. Every time I am at the school I see at least one of the directors if not both, they are very involved and know everything that is going on with the children and are so helpful when I have questions. We are blessed to have Ms Marsiella (I hope I spelled her name right) as my sons teacher - she is amazing! Teaching isnt just a job for her, you can truly tell she is passionate about what she does and loves the kids. She is amazing with my son and always has a huge smile on her face and such a great attitude. Miss Chloe is also one of my sons favorite teachers - she has such a big heart, my son has really bonded with her and even includes her in his prayers at night. I love seeing my son bring home crafts - they are all educational and fun and I love that the teachers take pictures of him doing the craft and tape it on the back for me to see. Every art piece in the classroom has an educational method behind it. My son has learned SOOOO much. He will be 4 in April and can write his name, spell 8 words and has learned to love school. He is also involved in Soccer - an extracurricular activity that is offered at school - a coach comes and teaches them how to play soccer, drills and taking turns. If you are looking for a school that communicates great with parents, loves your child and provides a safe atmosphere - This is it! read more
